For every new thing we learn to know, we soon realise there are a thousand other new things that we don’t know.

A very important podcast for today's world. Everyone should listen to this and stop for a moment. Too much thinking and analysing is never a good option. And I say this, because I observe myself and others and we can see that we don't achieve anything with it. We are only too confused when trying to figure it out everything. I truly believe, that we should all be more like animals. Loving, empty, free of nonsense and without social media. Animals are the best teachers like gurus and you two ❤❤ around them we are really more present and natural 💎I also noticed that they are much happier to see me than people 😅

One can learn with the ears, but it is very hard to learn with the mouth.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s. What you said about social media and human interactions is so true and I agree that depression is definitely an outcome of spending too much time analyzing everything . Thank You 🙏

You cant understand it by rationalizations, only by using intuition and empathy. Zhuangzi says 'Your life has a limit, but knowledge has none. If you use what is limited to pursue what has no limit, you will be in danger.' People think too highly of their conscious mind, when the unconscious mind is infinitely more powerful, they are filled with ideas of self-grandiosity, and forget their silent knowledge.

I just would like to add this: Prabhupada of Krishna Consciousness says that the people who engage in the illusion of Maya, being analytical, and developing technology, are doing a service to the planet, because they are making the standard of living higher for everyone, even though they may be risking their own enlightenment. We wouldn't have the internet and electricity without analytical minds, just take it as a gift from Brahma. There are 2 types of knowledge, the analytical and the spiritual. Just because you are on a spiritual path, you don't need to go back to the stone age. Take this nicer lifestyle as a gift from the Tao to make it easier for you to transcend.

I marinated on those unprocessed comments. I feel the suffering that it rises from. When i have been wronged, i want to be right. To be right, i have to make others wrong.
    It is human.
If i go to rescue a drowning person, he will try to drown me.
Remember you are a fish and cannot drown. Observe them pushing you down as it disclose there inner psychi.

An important message about knowing. For instance, is one able to say they really know who we are and where we live? 26:07 “Still a human being stuck on this little spec of dust in infinite space”. I used to think I knew this answer until I looked closer to see things were not as I was told. My “knowing” was revealed to be bred from many assumptions.

Understanding Brahman is like an advanced mathematician understanding a fractal like the mandelbrot set. A math genius can understanding the formula but can’t analyze the whole thing. Similarly a sadhu can understand Brahman in a similar way. Is my analogy any good? Thank you

One way is to know as our ego construct ( अहंकार); the other is to be in the know as part of the World Intelligence.

when analytical complexity is too much and you lose the awareness of the Tao, the next step is developing unconscious desire manifested as addictive behavior, because the Tao is still there but it's misunderstood for something else. then this addicted behavior will in turn result in more strict rules in society and even more humiliating complex and illogical repressive measures and social norms based on guilt. the only way to end this cycle is to turn around and reject current society values, and start giving more appreciation and interest to sages and awakened people living today, as well as ancient non corrupted knowledge. it's time to reflect on the true meaning of the word "guru" that should be the same as the meaning of the word "city council". we should start using words as they are, without the legal definition imposed on us by corrupted politicians and regulators. only then we will be able to reverse back to peace between people and to harmony with nature.
