- Hello friends 🙏🌞 This has been on my mind a lot lately...the concept of self care. It's so much more than just going to get a facial or taking a bubble bath (not that there is anything wrong with these), it's about asking yourself: what really, deeply nourishes me, body, mind, and spirit? it is a very deep, complex topic to delve into, and it's different for everyone. I don't call myself an author because I don’t believe in labels.
I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves. Another beautiful video! I love using aromatherapy oils - I have a tiny pot of cooling lavender gel which is one of my go to’s (when my children haven’t dug their fingers in it) and I also use a gua sha tool on my face when I do my morning skincare routine - it’s just amazing how the little things can really brighten and calm your day! 😊

Using oil instead of a cream is not an option. Just because it is natural does not mean it is good. Oil does not histrate our skin and in the long run damages it
