Menstrual cup! Not only is it a lot more pleasant to use, but there's also soooo muuuuuch less waste. It's brilliant, every woman should know it:)!

There are reusable cotton pads and underwear if that's more your thing too. Disposable products are full of chemicals and plastics.

Because I like to do paper machete. Whenever I needed to print out a first draft, I would turn it into paper for paper machetes by cutting it into strips when I was done with it.

I've worked hard to figure out which items my family throws away that could be recycled--I'm notorious for digging through the trash or saving my plastic cutlery till I get home so I can throw it in our recycling bin, haha. I've also had TONS of fun researching flowers/herbs that are good for honey bees. My gardens over the past two years have included plants that support bees. I have a very competitive, sort of "forge ahead" personality, so this video was a great reminder to just take small steps. This is a lifestyle, not a momentary punishment so that I can virtue signal all my friends online, haha. Thank you for your beautiful video!!

aaah i love this all so much! will definitely check out as many as i can! something i really want to do is publish in as much of an eco-friendly a way as possible--books made out of recycled paper and packaging made out of recycled/recyclable material. i'm still researching, and i don't know how realistic it is in my current price range, but even if i can't do it now, it's definitely something i want to work my way toward doing!
