The only bonus over a microwave is you can brown food. my dad is a pensioner on his own and can't cook so just buys ready meals and uses a microwave as , no oven in his sheltered accommodation . he asked about getting one of these but I'm in 2 minds to recommend . maybe there'll be more choice in the shops as I know some ready meals say unsuitable for microwave. He gets take away if he wants something different. what is your advice?

I wouldn't just say it browns stuff because there is a lot to the air fryer. Pensioners are very much the biggest age range of aid fryer owners and I would say 80 percent of our readers are over 60 some in their 80s. The best thing about the air fryer is 1. It cooks it half the time 2. It is smaller so suits 1-2 people. Your dad could do steak anc chips, jacket potato, boiled eggs, some frozen food, cheese toastie, pork chops, or even warm up a garlic bread. Or even warm up Part baked bread and bacon for bacon butties. The possibilities are endless.

I've just bought the Cosori xl air fryer. I've looked everywhere but can't find any information? I've got a Tesco frozen rack of lamb in the freezer which says must be cooked from frozen? Can I cook this in an air fryer from frozen? Thank you.

Yes you can. Though the cook time will be less in the air fryer. I recommend following the packet cook time and then checking it from 50 percent done.

Wonder if it could do with some extra cheese on top just towards end of cooking time for more golden look

Wow I thought airfryers where ment to cook your food quicker 😳, this actually took longer than in the microwave ,40 minutes 😳. I do love your vlogs but this wasn't really helpful for me & hopefully you'll find a quicker way for a new updated video, bless you and thanks so far apart from this one I've got a lot of tips & ideas from you 👍🏻🙏🏻

No offense but as an American your accent was hard to understand some of what you were saying.Could use some subtitles!😁 and when you're calculating times don't forget the 10 to 15 minutes it takes to heat up an oven.I don't own a microwave so your air fryer recipes are greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Lol as a kid I couldn’t understand my uncle who had a very broad Connecticut accent. All our videos are in written format too at recipethis.com and yes love that no preheat required

It’s some of Northern British accent, maybe Yorkshire? Very endearing to hear but I think some non-Brits may not understand everything.
