Getting rabbits in less than 12 hours, was scrambling to get all the hardware and everything needed before work today. Going to build something similar in the next few minutes. I especially love the dog kennel tray and I just so happen to have one laying in my garage and will be using that..
Got a bunch of free wood pallets, the long 12 foot ones from work so it's pretty much unlimited. Got some leftover from building my garage workbench and garden gate.

Appreciate it! Yeah no worries here! No coyotes in my backyard. Long ways from predators. Made it shorter so my boys can see them easier. The bottom boards are also treated but not touching anything the rabbits can get too! 👍🏻

On a serious note, do you recommend the wire you used in this video or the vinyl coated wire? I’m told that’s better for their paws? Planning on building a hutch and startin to raise some rabbits 🐇 🐰 since my town said we can’t have chickens smh yet across the street is in the county and chickens, goats, and rabbits oh my, but ya know how it goes. I make all my cages out of wire and have no wood to catch poop and them to piss on. 1x2 on the sides and tor with 1/2 x 1 on bottom and 2 inch from the floor on the wall to prevent baby bunnies' from crawling out.

I'm building a fence around my garden to keep critters out of my veggies and using chicken wire, and was thinking it was going to be difficult to trim with just wire sheers! That tool will make it so easy!
There’s a cheaper model on Amazon. I use my tools often enough I go ahead and buy the more expensive. Just type “cordless angle grinder” into Amazon and any of them will cut that wire for you easily. 😎

An animals with rabies can still get to your buns.. all it takes is a kiss from an infected predator. I think a box in the back is better to protect the bunnies..
How many rabbits is the hutch good for? Are you going to eat the kids or just sell them lol
I wouldn’t be afraid of putting 4 or 5 in here. We will cull these two if they kid and give us more does however not until their does are proven breeders. But yes, they are dinner rabbits not pets for sure. 👍🏻 Easy to clean too!
That hutch is way to small to properly house rabbits. Also the wire bottom can hurt there feet. You also run the risk of predators keeping them outside. I am not hating just trying to educate about proper rabbit care.please reply

You should also watch a video of ours that isn’t 11 months old.
Towards the end of the video and even in the middle I mention adding a board and a tile so the rabbit can get off the wire.
Pretty sure I’m over 60k views on this video now and I have even pinned a video I made a month ago in the comments of how I’ve modified this hutch now.

Hi, no hate, just trying to educate. Rabbits cannot be kept in that, the wire on the bottom will hurt their feet and they don’t have enough space. I would let them out everyday to run around and keep them in a bigger hutch at night. The way you are keeping them at the moment is cruel. Again no hate, just letting you know.
Watch the video again. I mention adding a shelf for them to get off the wire.
Please cover the wire at the bottom like with hay or a metal/plastic sheet it could hurt the bottom of your rabbits feet
The whole point is not gathering all the crap and pee the bottom needs to be open
