    I got that P0101 code (due to inconsistent air volume in the intake) and all I had to do is to clean the intake air filter. In your case maybe you need to clean it or opt for a bigger volume air filter after the tune. Exciting video tho! Merry Christmas to you too Brandon!!!

    • @BrandonStellmach

      Yeah definitely need to figure it out, I don’t think it’s lack of air, I think it is to much air causing the MAF sensor to read out of the range causing the code!

    As you know I'm using the AEM FIC. It has worked flawlessly for me over the years but it would be nice to have the OEM ECU tuned but I haven't found anyone in my area that can do that yet. I'm tuned at 8psi and 230bhp and 205whp. For me it seems like a good place with the car and to keep everything reliable. Just keep the car fun and don't get too focused on the exact numbers it makes. 😍😎🔥

    • @BrandonStellmach

      The AEM FIC worked great for me as well! But when I found a tuner that could actually tune the Stock ECUc it’s a game changer, because now he can tune other aspects of the car without bumping the boost up!
      But I totally agree, sometimes chasing a number is not the best way to go! But would like to atleast hit 250 HP to the wheels, so I can say the corolla is about 300 HP to the crank!

    • @jimsgaragetoys

      @@BrandonStellmach For sure, maybe someone near me will be able to do that in the future. Just be careful of the boost it takes to make that power. Everyone that I spoke with said that 12psi was the max on stock internals and 10psi was the safer bet. Hope that you had a Merry Christmas!

      Merry Christmas!
      It’s been a crazy journey lately, and hope to get this corolla to a good point and not blow it up!
      But the AFR is around 14.5-15.0 at idle and at a constant speed.

    • @watsup9938

      Thank you! I’m really happy the Corolla is starting to cook up lol. I’d suspect with all boost leaks and a tune 250hp is still G2g! Would the MaF sensor need to be converted to speed density to by pass it? WOT on 93oct should be between 11.0-11.6 afr (in my own experience)

    Hey Brandon, I have plans to do a cylinder head and cams for my 2zr and I’m trying to find someone who can tune my car. And how was the pricing.

    • @BrandonStellmach

      Ruben, the guy who tuned the car was awesome! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about Toyota engines and tuning. The tune was about $400 and the dyno session was about $100. So all in $500.
      As far as how the tune is, I have had a few issues I need to go back for, as I got a check engine light for an engine running to lean. But he said he would fix it if I came back. But I think some of my issues were my clutch. He was trying to tune around my clutch so it would not slip. All the other guys I talked to had no issues with his tunes! If you look back on his Instagram. He has tuned many of these corollas to 250-300 Whp.

    Most people doing turbos also change the clutch and flywheel to make sure that the increased power can be accommodated.
    I also thought your injectors were too small or conservative...did you also change the fuel pump or is that adequate?

    • @BrandonStellmach

      To be honest, I was being lazy and figured it would still be good enough. But obviously I was wrong!
      I installed 550CC injectors, and was told they could easily get over 300whp. And talking with the tuner, he had mentioned the factory fuel pump will easily hit over 250whp.
      Which 250 is what I plan to aim for!
