I've watched a good number of your vids and they've been very helpful. I just can't get into the game though! The "combat" is terrible. Clunky and slow. Feels like I'm managing skill cool downs rather than fighting. Have come from ESO so guess I'm feeling the tab targeting blues. The world seems great but movement and combat have put me off.
@@hikerd5391😂 did you just really try to compare ESO combat to throne and liberty? ESO isn’t even close to being on par with T&L not to mention you’re watching guides from someone that doesn’t really know what they’re talking about. Hack thinks that the paladin class is great sword and wand😂
Finally a tutorial for someone who's totally new to the game. What a lot of content creators don't realize is that with P2W games, you're "punished" if you just explore on your own and try to figure things out for yourself -- i.e. your "mistakes" drive you to the cash shop. However, many players would willingly grind and/or pay for stuff if we knew why and what we are doing. Stellar job! Subbed.
I would argue it's more "free-mium" than pay-to-win, at least no more so than modern (especially Korean MMO) back in the day with games like Lineage/Guild Wars we did a subscription model where you either buy the game to play outright and/or monthly fee and that way you keep everyone on the same equal footing. While that would have improved throne and liberty IMO, few titles are able to get that kinda funding. I think the last two I played like that were TERA (another great Korean MMO) and Elder scrolls at launch. They also made the exp and level ups wayyyyyy too easy for thrive liberty bc like you said without or even with the info - the players who spend the time doing the blue/hidden/collections etc should be rewarded more than those who Zerg or rush farm to level 50 - but I chose the middle road which was purchase the cheapest "premium pass" available and give myself a budget of 20 a month max - so far haven't had to pay any money to enjoy getting to high 30s and enjoying all the intricacies of the world map that most players cheat themselves out of. There's no reason to rush to 50 IMO, but I'm apparently an odd apple
Discovered this game by accident and fell in love fast. Had a very hard time finding a guide that was meant for new players. Thank you so much for taking your time to help players like myself feel comfortable venturing forward.
Holy crap man, thank you. I started this game today and was so lost. Even confused on how to add skills to bar. Came here and you did a amazing job explaining everything. I now feel more confident to go play now.. Appreciate you.
I’d first like to say thank you so much for your attention to detail!! It was so refreshing seeing a beginner guide that was actually a beginner guide. I had seen several already that never went into detail on the smaller stuff. Maybe they saw it as self explanatory, but you explained things that were parts of game that were frustrating me cuz I wasn’t getting it! I got it watching your video. Thank you!! I will now enjoy this game so much more. Keep up the great work and thank you again. Especially it being a guide from a controller/console perspective. PC perspective also made it hard to understand since I’m Xbox. Anyways, thanks so much. You got yourself a follower for sure!!!
I'm so glad you've made this, I've got a lot of hours logged in a couple of MMOs, but each one is different & this one is as complicated as they get it seems!
Awesome ty! I just started yesterday cool thing I found out is you can change your character view and zoom in so you can actually see your character when you play.
Watched the video in its entirety. As well as many of your previous. Subscribed(w/ "bell" icon too) and will continue to take in all the TAL knowledge you are so kind to bless us all with lol Your videos are so top notch! Appreciate it 🤙
Ty for the Throne & Liberty feedback on a whole buncha things that I've been trying to figure out still only playing for 7.7 hours in the past day and a half. The game is similar to WOW but omg it blows it outta the water with the unreal engine and the polished quests which I love, the game play is nice and its nice not focusing on a class and instead on the weapons. Highly recommend to all :)
Thank you! Long time viewer of ESO content (which I still play & use some of your builds.) Two questions: 1) Can you explain armor weight and when to use tunics, jerkins, gambeons etc & 2) Does the quality of your backbar weapon matter?
34:06 better place for bait is the contract shop. The contract coins are easier to obtain then the ornate, spend ornate coins on skill growth books. dissolve a few then smash lvl your skills/passives. you can do the same with the growstones and your gear lvl but you get a little less value.
Bro, I just downloaded this last night. Going to give ESO a rest for a bit and thanks to you and this tutorial.. one thing I don’t get is why is your bank/storage so bloody small it only holds like 15 items
Best guide for T&L / Ive played NCsoft games since Lineage ONE/II/GW/Aion and alot of other Korean MMOs and this one is the first to take the midevil aesthetic/tropes and do it properly just as well if not better than Bethesda/ Blizzard and the like. My only complaint is that the game is not difficult enough and allows for people to zerg rush to 50 without being punished for skippingover the hours of gameplay and content and instead make the entire game pve solo-able. Imagine if the game encourages and requires players to ACTUALLY put effort into objectives and required more time to reach 50 instead of allowing you to rush it... It would be so much more rewarding but i may be thinking of ways of the past and the modern gamer does not want to have to earn their level ups rhey cry its "too much grinding" when they have no idea how MMOs used to play/work and how objectives required you to work closely with others instead of everyone playing their own solo game in the same sandbox which is what most tofays MMOs are just action games with alot of customization and loadout
Weapon mastery doesn't lvl up based on the "the more you use a weapon" . You do contract resistance and they reward you with usable tokens. Once you use them they will exp those weapons you have equipped.
I am new to gaming and downloaded this game in ps5 and literally struggle alot tto proceed. I hope after watching your video it will be easy tomolay the game. If possible try to show the ps5 console and button to use
Hi mate iv just seen ur vid on the side quests "very informative thank u" but iv been playing but didn't realise u had to do the side quest at all can I go back on them? Iv got mostly level 9 greens and a few blue items and my skills are mostly level 1 blue but I wondered why I wasn't getting stat points is not doing the side quest the reason? Iv subbed liked all the stuff ed
A little late to the party, but I just started playing Thrones and this has been so helpful. One of the best beginner guides I have ever watched. Looking forward to more content from you. You have a new sub!
Got to level 50, I get declined trying to join dungeons, or kicked from party even if I was the one lasting the longest seems like you get no where. ... just Glad New World releases tomorrow..
I downloaded the game last night and it felt overwhelming since I haven’t played an mmorpg game since RuneScape and felt like these newer versions are too complicated and not worth the pain. But after watching your video made me feel more confident going into this. Really appreciate how much work you put into your video and honestly from a rookie I’m sure you’ve made it possible for many gamers to give it a real shot!
Hey buddy. Got another question for you. I am now lvl 14-15?? Can’t remember off the top of my head. But my question is, is it ok to switch between weapons to find out what I like? Even though I have already begun the leveling up process of weapons and gear? Like, right now I am staff/wand. But if I wanted to do say, big sword/daggers, have I already messed up??
This was amazing, thanks for this. All the rubbish video's I've seen so far are the repeated "Make sure you don't do this" so this is the first video I've seen that explains everything in a useful way. You're going to be my new authority on Throne and Liberty. Quick question, how well does the controller setup work? Does it feel easy to play?
I'm enjoying the game, however not really an hour long BEGINNERS guide. Decent video just sooo much could have been edited out, but hey I'm not the creator so I'm sure he had his reasons
Shits probably not going to last if you look into what the guilds are doing 😂😂there will be a guild for every player 😂😂 shity ppl that didn't get the drop kicking everyone out so they can claim it not realizing it's about the long run not the boss drops 😂😂

@@UnknownAdventureronly thing T&L has ESO beaten is the combat everything else ESO has better and more of.
@@brokentv1855 you can’t even compare the two. 1 is a PVP focused MMO. The other is a PVE focused MMO that has PVP in it.

No your weapons do gain little exp from destroying monsters especially in Open world dungeons
@ScruffWood-c3r you're correct. I've noticed it couple days ago
It is very low exp lol

Controller is pretty solid. Takes a bit of getting used to
I play on controller and it’s pretty intuitive. Not on par with FFXIV imo but it feels normal and simple to use.
I'm looking to maximize a dagger playstyle. What secondary weapon should I be looking at?
Greatsword, crossbow, longbow or Sword and shield run great with daggers
Don’t try to cook or get cooking to end game. The game is missing Wine that is an Essential Ingredient for PVP foods.
Lol . I heard also its impossible to craft blue litographs i heard they all are missing too
My cooking is lvl8...
Wait… can we log in now? I haven’t been able to
Play because of the server error.
