While I respect the video and what you have showed us, creating lithographs for weapons is extremely expensive in comparison to creating armor or accessories, so everyone be aware of that. I was calculating that few days ago and this is what i came up with - blank weapon lithograph : 620+ lucent cost, accessory litho - 42.5+ lucent cost, armor - 49+. As you can see the difference is massive, of course it all depends on the market prices in your region.
For me it's only worth to craft a wpn lithograph if you have something that sells for at least 2500 lucent, in any other case better craft x2 armor/accessory.
These were my thoughts, too. However, if the limiting factor is the abyss token, you need to check again. The Rubrix makes the weapon hell of expensive
My problem with the tip at 4:40 is that rare rubix cost significantly more (around 70 on our current server) which means you put 700 lucent in rubrix alone to make the staff lithograph, where the alabaster band Emerets go for 7.5, so you are only putting in 37.5 lucent worth of sellable mats (since you only need 5), alongside only half of the other mats to make the band, making it similar, if not more profitable
This is why you have to look at the market and decide on what is more worth it after calculating everything. Cause going for an accessory or armor may be more profitable depending on your market.

Good stuff. Saved for future reference. After starting an alt with some experience it's also way smoother and my main will most likely be the alt going forward.
This daily/weekly stuff stress me a lot, thanks for the video lad! I am still trying to figure it out this game, for now my biggest struggle is how to farm/craft better gear, because I am running with greens and so far all blue/purple are like not for my build.
i'm already seeing it now, they made getting lucent so fking complicated that the average player after hitting lvl 50 will stop progressing as they do not have enough lucent to trait gears so they're gonna quit. The progression after lvl 50 is literally behind lucent and if you don't know how to make them you're cooked, it's insane bruh
No it’s not… you can farm the stuff yourself. You can grind lower level mobs for lower tier gear and feed it to your traits. Have you never played an mmo before? There is always the faster option of spending currency or farming yourself.
Havent spent a singular dime, and have 20k lucent. Hit 50 a week ago, not every mmo needs to hold your hand. Its insane you speak about something you clearly havent done; and act like you've done it.... bruh; you can get to 2500 without any traits; and legit smack people until t2 comes out if you choose your targets, again that means having a brain. But ggs and goodluck if you try to actually give it a chance!
Yap ahead: Just giving a little notice as to why this system will break down rapidly long-term. The "just make lucent" strategy gets harder and harder as time goes on and as the market shifts towards newer and harder to aquire gear. I joined an EA server about 2 weeks after public launch to play with friends who had been playing since EA. This means I missed the boat completely on the emerging market since these servers are a couple months deep into content, and current prices on 90% of gear are extremely low. Most of the stuff you get won't be worth the extraction/litho costs. The lucent income as a f2p player doing regular world bosses and daily content is extremely low, 95% of open world dungeon/coop dungeon gear is worthless, even the epics. The items that are valuable are world boss drops which are incredibly rare. The main income source now is either: a) getting incredibly lucky with a world boss drop worth thousands of lucent b) selling a few items here and there for 20-50 lucent, a handful worth 100+, and very slowly grow some wealth. Nothing like the people who made "70k+ lucent completely f2p" because they were in the wild-west early markets selling blue gear for hundreds of lucent and epic lithographs of open-world dungeon weapons to whales for 1-5k lucent. The most expensive drop I've recieved after 3 weeks of playing, and not counting guild raid drops, was worth 400 lucent. I've recieved only 4 drops worth more than 200 lucent, and maybe around 8-10 drops worth more than 100. In total I've made maybe around 2-3k lucent on the AH in the almost 2 weeks I've been trading on it, and the markets only going lower. Over half of all the money I've made has gone to fully traiting a single purple weapon, the only epic I am currently able to afford (and one of the cheapest pieces of epic gear for my build). I'm doing all my dailies rolling on as much gear as I can, and hoarding enchanted ink but have yet to recieve a single epic worth the material cost of a lithograph. I'm having fun with friends, and my traited blue gear is good enough for now so I'm in for the grind, but people who are going to join 1 or 2 months from now are going to have it even worse than me, and the fresh start servers from launch will be where I currently am in a couple more weeks.
On my server theres not much point making lithos of anything! A lucid staff from island dropped 3x on the first day. Was tempted to make it into lithos to sell. Checking price in the morning was 1.5k then afternoon lowest listed was 900. Haha. So beware, the price on AH is listed price not RL purchased price. Make lithos at ur own risk
People selling stuff are braindead when it comes to profit. I’ve seen that multiple times from the world of warcraft expansion launches. They either bomb the prices out of fear they don’t sell, so everyone follows them on low prices. Or they found a profit margin so slim they nuke the price to push others out of the market. It’s so crazy seeing people using economics tactics to play a game, only to mAxImIZe PrOFits and play the AH game.
Thank you for this video. I've seen people say it is better to lvl up purple gear to lvl 7(+30%) before transferring blue gear enchant into it to actually save stones... is it actually better?
Very informative, thanks for the tips. I saw somewhere that we should be prioritizing the red stones from daily contracts but you prefer the material select or the other stone. Do u think the red stones are a grief?
If you're a free player and you sell in the AH. 1. you are working voluntarily and you don't know it. You do the grind, slap it in the AH. Someone buys in game currency and buys it off you. The game gets cash, and you? 2. You're helping pay to win have a home in gaming.
So many types of currencies/tokens/conversions spread across so many UI, games nowadays really make things overly complicated. Good info from your vid though.
They make things 10 times more complicated than they need to be. You have to literally study countless videos to try to figure out how to get your purple gear.
Couldn't agree less. Just click on the gear you want and you can see all the ways to obtain it. It's not complicated at all. Edit: Lithograph are simple they are for buyers. If you have a item with bad roll for that item turn it into a Lithograph to sell to whales. Now you have good lucent.
@gizmo6606 2:20 what do you do with that item afterwards? it has 2 bad traits after all. 1. stack it with blessing and transfer onto another item? 2. or do you reroll the traits with unlockstones? does it change depdending if the trash traits lvl up or not?
TL:DR : get good traits to sell and good items to sell as litograph. Basically get lucky. Got 139h in play and never got any item or trait sellable at more than 200 lucent. Never got max hp on those 300+ lucent blue item. Never got a trait on purple worth selling more than 150 (1 out of 20 purple) etc.. Wish I had your luck. Also depending on servers, eco is very different. US servers have prices ranging from 2 to 10 times more vs EU servers. Price are all over the top.
Thanks for the tips but another TH-camr say to get the colored stones in the contracts. May I know is it progression based? As in how far I’m in with my gears etc. do you change to your suggestions at a certain gear level when you don’t need colored stones? Cause I just broke 50 2 days ago and have been taking the colored stones all this time as with the parchment. Would like your thoughts about this. Thanks!
Once your armor is level 9, you have absolutely no use for colored stones (for armor) unless you’re leveling a different set entirely. Same for each of the stones. However, polished crystals and material chests will forever be needed for lucent earning and other uses. I’ve also never had any issues with running out of colored stones, where I have when it comes to polished crystals. It seems the game gives you way more of the former.
while it can beneficial to take more expensive item from those boxes you should also make sure that the craftin that lithograph and selling it wont actually cost you more after you buy the item you want. In my server precious rubrix price is 40-50 lucent each so crafting that lithograph would cost you atleast 400 lucent + ink. At this point its almost better to just sell your rubrix instead of selling items.
Y'all complaining about all of the things I missed from WoW when they decided to expand their crowd base and dumb the entire game down so it was 'easy' to play.. Every character was cookie cutter after that point, everyone had the same abilities n whatnot.. It may be hard/confusing now, but that makes the journey to understand that much more rewardinf
I have a few questions that idk who to ask so I'll leave them here. I'm a Staff/Wand user but focus on dps more but have decent utility like 3 heals in case I need them. The question is I'm currently using "Staff of Lucid Light" is it the best staff for me rn? Second question, I can't find any better cloak than this so, is "Supreme Devotion" the best cloak I can run with as my class?
thats what happen when you grind nonestop on a new mmo at lunch - thare is things to do - but if u do only grind yea thare is not alot of content - try go fishing as well + farming food for cooking + grinding gear - i progress alot but not that much that i finished the game - that way i can wait for new content to come out and still enjoy the game - most ppl will lose intrest in the game - thinking we have nothing to do
five hundred profit. You probably forgot that red crystals for crafting a lithograph cost 50 and you need 10 of them. That is, the profit is not 500-600 but 0-100. but you also spend 50 weekly enchanted to get 100 Lucent
He probably forgot but it doesnt change the fact that u arent supposed to randomly take an item u need from the selection chest instead of checking prices of other items first to compare, like he did. The staff was only an example...
im level 50 crossbow & dagger but want to switch to longbow & staff, would you say to restart a new character from level 1 or switch and grind drops to get new armour/weapon stats
The gear, weapon, and character upgrading system is horrendous. The game play is phenomenal, the story is phenomenal, and the combat is phenomenal. I really enjoy this game but, my only problem with this game is what I mentioned. The upgrade system needs a complete redo.
So if we feed the trait to a dead roll and it actually level up, do we restart the blessing again? or do you recommend we just feed the trait once or twice to the dead roll?
Here is another methode to get ahead free 2 play. Buy cheap in auctionhouse (keep the taxes in mind) and sell more expensive. I´m at 3.503 combatpower and made about 50k lucent that way since release
If im correct: Trait leveling: Feed a blue trait (f.ex max hp) to a purple item with max hp. 10% upgrade Chance or else u build blessing (failstacks) Feed a purple item max hp trait, into a purple 100% upgrade. So, now just calculate whats lower the cost. What ur saying is, get at least 1 shitty trait on a purple item, feed blue items with the same trait to it to build failstacks, and then use those to buy a blue good trait item, to feed that along with the blessing, to the purple item good trait slot. Well, what if u get lucky and upgrade the purple shitty trait, feeding a blue to it with 10% up Chance? U dont build any failstacks then to use those.
He explained that... there is no correlation, hes just using bind res because its a cheap trait on his server, to max out the blessing gauge on the item, so when he DOES put a trait on the item that he wants, its immediately maxed out without having to pay for multiple extract charges on the AH.
Sorry i don't understand the lito part. I get that instead of choosing a low value item we must choose an high value one. But you are not taking into account the lito craft. For example in my server the most expensive thing (beside weapon that are 2x cost) is the necklace for 600+ lucents. Now i need a pair of legs that costs around 400 lucent. If i choose the necklace then i also need to craft a lito, that based on my server price, is 50 lucent for 5x stalon and i don't know how much is the lucent value for 25 ink, leather ecc. So, my profit is not 200 lucent, i honestly think there is no profit at all, cuz 200 lucent for a lito is too low. On the other hand i can just choose the legs and i'm good. I'm i doing some bad calculation or am i actually right?
Amazing guide, not to be a lazy bum or anything like that but is there a possibility someone will turn this into a text guide that will put this down somewhere we can constantly go back and reference? I am a new player and dont know where to find any of the resources for this game other than videos like these.
so you gotta have the actual item aswell before you can make the blank with all the resources into the actual weapons lithograph? i'm confused because if we open the chest we get the item is the item itself not sellable?

Good stuff. Saved for future reference. After starting an alt with some experience it's also way smoother and my main will most likely be the alt going forward.
most concise end game video yet! you got my sub!
This guide is the best out there. Such a lot of usefull tips. Thanks!
Fantastic pace and explanation to the tips! Greatly appreciated and happy gaming! Excited to see the map updates too!!
Awesome video! Saving my life here man thank you so much!
Yap ahead:
Just giving a little notice as to why this system will break down rapidly long-term.
The main income source now is either:
a) getting incredibly lucky with a world boss drop worth thousands of lucent
b) selling a few items here and there for 20-50 lucent, a handful worth 100+, and very slowly grow some wealth.
Btw another tip, if you run out of gold, you can sell precious marind for 400k+
Just the 171hrs spent that I’ll never get back Comment earned a Like, Shits hilarious 😂
Amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video brother! Keep it up 🙌🏻
So many types of currencies/tokens/conversions spread across so many UI, games nowadays really make things overly complicated. Good info from your vid though.
I’d rather have more currencies/tokens/conversions and more complications to figure out and mid max than playing a god awful game
@@Charlie-lx9mg only god awful games hide theire weakness behind 300 systems. Its just bullshit to make further more p2w.
@@Charlie-lx9mgI'd rather just have a good game.
Its to stimulate certain actions in the game without inflating the main currency
@@axylum4453 This is a good game
Fkn fire vid bruh actually hella informative in a really useful way
Great advice. Thanks.
They make things 10 times more complicated than they need to be. You have to literally study countless videos to try to figure out how to get your purple gear.
Cannot agree more. Wtf is this lithograph shit, it made crafting 10x more complicated
@@scrumbsciouscrispybuns5026 ok smoothbrain.. it aint that complicated if your IQ is above room temperature
Amazing system, it balances economics of game and do not give others huge advantages.
Welcome to almost any mmo ever (in my experience)
Thank you, great help
If you use a dead roll to get blessings, is there a chance it goes through and replaces the good blessing?
Great video mate 🎉
The first of these videos to actually be helpful. So here’s a comment and a like and a follow.
This is the best vídeo i watched so far
very informative thank you!
Thank you for doing this man
Extremely Good Advice. Good Video.
Thank you for good information!
Thanks for sharing! ❤🙂
These are great, thank you!
is there a video about ur current build ? :D great video btw
so clear and informative ty

what do you do with that item afterwards? it has 2 bad traits after all.
1. stack it with blessing and transfer onto another item?
2. or do you reroll the traits with unlockstones?
does it change depdending if the trash traits lvl up or not?
actually good advice holy shit
TL:DR : get good traits to sell and good items to sell as litograph. Basically get lucky.
Got 139h in play and never got any item or trait sellable at more than 200 lucent. Never got max hp on those 300+ lucent blue item. Never got a trait on purple worth selling more than 150 (1 out of 20 purple) etc..
Wish I had your luck. Also depending on servers, eco is very different. US servers have prices ranging from 2 to 10 times more vs EU servers. Price are all over the top.
Maybe more swipers in US? Would be nice to see a graph about that lol
Actual helpful video
Watched so many videos, this is best one
4:00 shift clicking will automaticly go to max limit
Very helpfull, thanks!
@@gizmo6606 That makes sense, thank you again. Appreciate it!
Clear and concise. Subbed.
It takes so much mats to make those blank lithographs though 😮💨
while it can beneficial to take more expensive item from those boxes you should also make sure that the craftin that lithograph and selling it wont actually cost you more after you buy the item you want. In my server precious rubrix price is 40-50 lucent each so crafting that lithograph would cost you atleast 400 lucent + ink. At this point its almost better to just sell your rubrix instead of selling items.
It’s so dumb how the game has like x20 different currencies.
If you think this is bad try POE. It will make your head implode
@@abovethecutgaming7436 or GW2
It's way more than 20. It's to overcomplicate things so people make mistakes they fix by swiping.
It's not that bad go play wow they have more
Lucent, Guild, Sollant, Abyssal, Dimensional- Ornate coins (given) what are the 14 you talking about?
its going to be awhile until they drop content, so this seems like cracked out gming. and we appreciate a druggie giving us the info lol
I wanna ask, if I cannot play on weekend because spend time with family and play like 2-3hours a day, do I lose lot of progress to catchup?
4:30 tip is incorrect cuz you need to spend a lot of mats to cratf scroll. Then you need to spend extra mats to craft you ring back
I have a few questions that idk who to ask so I'll leave them here.
What are we going to use the rare base material chest for? I don't think we can craft any blue item
Spending the lucent to litho a weapon to sell for negative profit is craaaaazy.
thats what happen when you grind nonestop on a new mmo at lunch - thare is things to do - but if u do only grind yea thare is not alot of content -
try go fishing as well + farming food for cooking + grinding gear - i progress alot but not that much that i finished the game - that way i can wait for new content to come out and still enjoy the game - most ppl will lose intrest in the game - thinking we have nothing to do
Awesome video Gizmo
Lost me at auction house. Not paying to sell my in game items. 💀
five hundred profit. You probably forgot that red crystals for crafting a lithograph cost 50 and you need 10 of them. That is, the profit is not 500-600 but 0-100. but you also spend 50 weekly enchanted to get 100 Lucent
true, those damn red crystal is expensive af
Or farm them for free dude
He probably forgot but it doesnt change the fact that u arent supposed to randomly take an item u need from the selection chest instead of checking prices of other items first to compare, like he did. The staff was only an example...
@@Pruber131 i spend 30k abyss points farming those things and i got a whooping 3!
thats 1 every 10000 points i spend.
@@snaxximan5737 ohh well unlucky then i got 3 from 2000
Very useful video!
Do you have any tips to get scrolls fast for power lvl your spell ?:0
Very good video mate.
Many thanks!
im level 50 crossbow & dagger but want to switch to longbow & staff, would you say to restart a new character from level 1 or switch and grind drops to get new armour/weapon stats
new char
The gear, weapon, and character upgrading system is horrendous. The game play is phenomenal, the story is phenomenal, and the combat is phenomenal. I really enjoy this game but, my only problem with this game is what I mentioned. The upgrade system needs a complete redo.
Lithographing a weapon is not worth it unless it is really expensive it takes twice as much ink and rubrix are expensive
If im correct:
Trait leveling:
Feed a blue trait (f.ex max hp) to a purple item with max hp.
10% upgrade Chance or else u build blessing (failstacks)
Feed a purple item max hp trait, into a purple
100% upgrade.
U dont build any failstacks then to use those.
what happens if you reroll the abyss contract 99 times? does it ever recharge?
The only thing I run out are the stones I need to extract the traits.
new player here, can i ask whats the connection between bind resistance trait and max health? cause i thought that you cant feed different traits.
He explained that... there is no correlation, hes just using bind res because its a cheap trait on his server, to max out the blessing gauge on the item, so when he DOES put a trait on the item that he wants, its immediately maxed out without having to pay for multiple extract charges on the AH.
@@brendanwheeler4147not if you change the trait you will start from 0
Sorry i don't understand the lito part.
Oouuu staff and bow the same staff and bow I want😂😂❤
Bro, a day ago i made a tank character with same name, same warpaint and almost same hair.
really amazing video
trait tip is huge
Amazing guide, not to be a lazy bum or anything like that but is there a possibility someone will turn this into a text guide that will put this down somewhere we can constantly go back and reference? I am a new player and dont know where to find any of the resources for this game other than videos like these.
so you gotta have the actual item aswell before you can make the blank with all the resources into the actual weapons lithograph? i'm confused because if we open the chest we get the item is the item itself not sellable?
"171 hrs never get back' that's hits me hard.... *what am i doin....
This game has so many considerations...😫
What happens if you hit that 10% and you actually get the trait instead of the blessing?
So to increase blessing on a gear we have to increase a trait on the gear?
