What I like the most is that you get to level 50 very fast compared to other mmos. I dont care about the p2w aspect because for free users like myself the game is fair enough and you level up pretty fast. While monetizing parts of a game like cosmetics are important, if they lean too heavily in P2W items or mechanics, that eventually will become more problematic for the game. It's something companies really need to learn to be more careful with, because more often than not it causes problems.

Tip: Don't play, The real end game of Throne and Liberty isn’t some PvP mini-game nonsense-it’s an epic battle against your own wallet. Forget about grinding for gear or meaningful content; here, every swipe of your credit card is the true victory. The gear? Not won through skill, but through spending! Who needs actual game mechanics when the cash-grab is the main event? The final boss isn’t a dungeon monster, it’s your own savings account, slowly draining as you chase the illusion of progress. So if you enjoy the thrill of watching your bank balance plummet faster than your in-game health, congrats-you’ve reached the real end game!

You said we can lose EXP progression but does it mean the game is able to drop me back to the previous lvl or my current level's 0% is the maximum where the EXP progression can drops to? Thanks for your anwser!
Sadly I live in a part of the world where this game is not available. Still don't understand how this makes any sense for a new IP, free to play game in 2024, but here we are. By the time it is available in all areas, there will be no point to even try it. And yes, VPN this and that, can't be bothered. Thankfully, there are other games to play.

Great vid! I've been using a Greatsword + Bow in offhand build that focuses on heavy damage from the greatsword and buffs from the bow. As a solo player this build helps me a ton sense I don't need to worry about a healer or a DPS player. This guide helped me grasp the game a ton and made it seem a lot simpler.
I understand the frustrations behind the RNG of upgrading things but I kinda love that especially if the best things in the game can’t just be picked up. Sure the best weapon could be but now upgrading.
Keep in mind there is a free option farm items sell for the irl currency then use it also I am enjoying the sns and wand paladin build I gotta carry the support sometimes 😂
You can buy appearance change coupons for like 200 or 250 lucent, which is really not a lot once you have access to auction house and start selling things on there, I think there is one in the paid battlepass thats 500 lucent too
I wanna try it. Normally I'm a dps player but this time I want to go full on healer. So with that in mind I have 2 questions. If I go full healer will I have problems completing the story cause I won't be doing good damage? And also since this game is also made by Amazon, does any form of gear or character progression have RNG mechanics that yields you NOTHING? Like for instance Lost Ark's gear upgrade can fail and you lose all your materials meaning you farmed all day and got nowhere.
Yeah you should be fine for the main quests. Even though the wand and tome has healing skills it also has enough damage skills for DPS. Like I mentioned in the video, the upgrading system has its own rng to it. Sometimes you’ll level up in one go and others you’ll use the same amount of materials but only level up the bar a quarter of the way. You won’t be at a complete loss but sometimes you want level up as much as before.
I would focus more on your long term weapons. Pick a weapon combination and stick to it! I have a weapon tear list video on my channel that shows you the best weapon combos if you need help
@@ColdBwoyy do you think ill have enough dmg to progress side quests and similar things on my own? ill be playing with friends so im not worried about dmg for the story but whenever they are offline i want to make sure i can work on side quests and resource gathering and other things without being stuck.
I'm fairly new to MMOs with my only experience being trying WoW years ago and not digging it. The combat here looked interesting from the trailer, but I can't seem to figure out how to turn off all the assists. I want to be able to fire where I'm aiming at and not have it continue to auto-attack for instance. It all feels very disjointed, like I'm just telling my character what to do rather than actually playing.
This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PvE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting each other and you'd be forced to play in close range with the Greatsword.
I was reading about how they might add other playable races apart from yk the person so how would they go about giving old players the chance to experience it without making a new character?
Great combo. It makes the most of the binding skills of the Staff and the bonus damage that the Greatsword brings to the table. It follows a hit-and-run strategy and you will be able to melt any enemy as long as you are getting your rotations right.
do i ever have to swap weapons? does it have any benefit for example to equip staff when casting staff spells and bow for bow spells? i saw some things about off hand weapon damage and accuracy etc but i have no clue if it matters at all or if i can stay on staff all the time.
Your main hand weapon will always be in your hand. Your offhand is more of a support and when you use skills from your secondary, it can help create some powerful combos
@COLDBWOYY thanks for the vid, think you saved me from making some dumb mistakes. also, could you tell me the name of the first music in the backround you used ? i cant find it, it sounds like a song from my childhood, id be really happy. thanks :)
You're wrong about only having to play to change your appearance. I got one of those tickets for free in the shop. I don't know how or why but it said free one time so far.
since its a 2 weapon combo type game, how do you know if the 2 weapons u have will be compatible and have a good dmg output and playstyle if you are new?
At the start of the game you get all starting weapon types, equip them one by one and read their skills. Sounds tedious, but I think synergies will be obvious. Right now im using dagger + wand combo since some wand skills increase dmg on target + poison dmg
@@frankie5821 So I guess whats the point of PVP, I remember when I was playing D4 some player kept attacking me and I killed him 4 or 5 times but he kept coming and it ruined my whole play session just dealing with them it was so pointless.
Can somone explain picking a role during coop because people will kick you if you pick healer if you have great sword, but I don't understand if it de buffs or if it matters since its the only way you can start one.
Well the thing is, these Dungeons require an actual healer. So if you queue up as a healer without proper skills, it may frustrate other players. Why not queue up for DPS or tank?
@@ColdBwoyy took a very long time to find healer and support. A lot of times healers come in as dps. But its not somthing I would normally do. Just wanted to know if there was an actual debuff when selecting roles.

As a long time DRK main from ff14 I see the great sword and don’t think twice lol. That’s being said I’m going to mess with sword/shield and do some more research before I go crazy grind mode
How would you say this game on the whole compares to your time in FFXIV?
@@M3ANSPEC it’s still very early for me, but definitely the pacing of early story is MUCH faster. This game also does a much better job explaining the systems you need to use (crafting, skill upgrades etc). Really enjoying it so far and definitely a much needed change of pace for me.

To many rage quiters in dungeons. I can't even get purple gears because people rage quit dont wanna learn the mechanics of the game bosses.
This has been me alll day you’re not alone. I’ve been running deaths abyss all day long and I only have 2 clears because people don’t want to listen
Sounds like a FPS, people don't have a strategy most often.

Thanks and I have a question when Crafting a Weapon how and where to get "lithograp" especially blue colored one
Great start though keep building.
As soon as a saw the daggers i fell in love, a woapon made for pvp.
My one and only question was what secundary to use. So i had
Wand support ew
Stall mage ew
Shild conflict of personality
Greatsword aoe melle decent choice for pve
Bow solid choice for some range burst
Xbow the one i currently use smaller range than bow but you get mobility
If i get any of the last 3 i will change but for now we do meta.
Bow, xbows, shield or GS. I use GS as it has the highest ST dmg.
Recruiting for Behelite Legion Guild! Im a level 50 player Tank/DPS with a great understanding of the game. Looking for team oriented players and more importantly a good healer. Need a proper team to knock out PVE content for optimal gear
Thanks for the video!
It was very useful!
I only have 1 question (I think you didn't mention).

Im gonna play on Steam deck! Ill update how it plays later on. Currently downloading it. But im sure some people with the steam deck will want to know if its any good on it. So ill let yall know soon! 😀
It won't work on steam deck, it has anti cheat

@@ColdBwoyy so far it's amazing! Very smooth, not much lag and I put it on high resolution/graffics. It's already set up for steam deck so you don't have to mess with the settings. (I still did tho) I've only had 1 issue so far and that was a problem when I did the wolf tail hunter event/quest thingie. Although I think that was a game issue and not a console issue. SO! Overall it's very good on the steam deck! I'm gonna continue to mess with the settings and find the best settings for quality of life. I'll post an update later! Also thank you for the video!
@@_chris_tealyeah keep me posted! Thanks for watching the video 🙏🏻 means a lot
Very nice! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful 🙏🏻
I understand the frustrations behind the RNG of upgrading things but I kinda love that especially if the best things in the game can’t just be picked up. Sure the best weapon could be but now upgrading.
It's people with no patience. Game is good!

Me, a dark souls player: So I hit random 200 times instead of 100?
Exactly 😂
Just about to start the game, gonna take Sword and shield as thats my goto in games but really cant decide which offhand weapon to pick
You can buy appearance change coupons for like 200 or 250 lucent, which is really not a lot once you have access to auction house and start selling things on there, I think there is one in the paid battlepass thats 500 lucent too
Thank you So Much!
My pleasure!
Still lookin for my Guild Wars 1 fix 15 years later.ill try this.
Bow for main hand and dagger for off-hand or Staff for main hand and Bow for off-hand.. which is good combination?
I’m using bow and dagger and it’s absolutely incredible! Working on a build to drop on the channel
What are the best combos to start off
I would focus more on your long term weapons. Pick a weapon combination and stick to it! I have a weapon tear list video on my channel that shows you the best weapon combos if you need help

do you think a tank should run sword and shield with wand? im not sure how effective my healing, tanking, and damage will be if i try to go with both.
Definitely! You’ll get the added survivability from the sword skills and the support skills from wand. Sounds awesome.
You may not have the best damage tho
@@ColdBwoyy do you think ill have enough dmg to progress side quests and similar things on my own? ill be playing with friends so im not worried about dmg for the story but whenever they are offline i want to make sure i can work on side quests and resource gathering and other things without being stuck.

I just use what looks cool. 🥰 having fun.
It feels really old school which a lot of people enjoy about it
If you have dagger and bow what did you pick first I would love to use both of them ??
Bow is main hand weapon. Dagger for offhand.
Big sword and the bow sounds like a good combo,.ket me know if im wrong or right
This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PvE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting each other and you'd be forced to play in close range with the Greatsword.
With the tokens to open the dungeon chest, can you do the dungeon and then just decide not to unlock the chest?
Yes you can. You just won’t get EXP or loot.
Dual crossbow and staff. Crazy fun
I was reading about how they might add other playable races apart from yk the person so how would they go about giving old players the chance to experience it without making a new character?
I would hope so
U can edit yo character

What’s the song that you used in the vid? I really like it lol
I love it
I wished you were able to keep any style you want on your character without losing your top gear like DC Universe online.
Like a transmog feature?
If you die in pvp do you lose anything? Also do you mean night irl or in game for abyss dungeons
U don’t lose anything. Night time in game.
big sword and staff, thoughts?
Great combo. It makes the most of the binding skills of the Staff and the bonus damage that the Greatsword brings to the table. It follows a hit-and-run strategy and you will be able to melt any enemy as long as you are getting your rotations right.
do i ever have to swap weapons? does it have any benefit for example to equip staff when casting staff spells and bow for bow spells? i saw some things about off hand weapon damage and accuracy etc but i have no clue if it matters at all or if i can stay on staff all the time.
Your main hand weapon will always be in your hand. Your offhand is more of a support and when you use skills from your secondary, it can help create some powerful combos
the q and e keys are strange,. auto attack should just be right clicking imo,. i guess one can bind it
What's the music in 3rd minute? It's awesome.
Can u choose both bow and crossbow at the same time?
Yes!
@COLDBWOYY thanks for the vid, think you saved me from making some dumb mistakes.
also, could you tell me the name of the first music in the backround you used ?
i cant find it, it sounds like a song from my childhood, id be really happy.

You're wrong about only having to play to change your appearance. I got one of those tickets for free in the shop. I don't know how or why but it said free one time so far.
Did you buy the battle pass? I think u get 1 from the battle pass not sure if it’s the free track or paid
@ColdBwoyy I did buy it so that might be it. I didn't even think about that. Sorry 😅
first tip about creation, literally no MMO's offer free creation redo's
since its a 2 weapon combo type game, how do you know if the 2 weapons u have will be compatible and have a good dmg output and playstyle if you are new?
U don’t unfortunately that’s why research is important! Watch lots of videos
At the start of the game you get all starting weapon types, equip them one by one and read their skills. Sounds tedious, but I think synergies will be obvious. Right now im using dagger + wand combo since some wand skills increase dmg on target + poison dmg
When you do get into a PVP senario what do you lose when you die? I'm only level 21 but I'm enjoying the journey so far.
Nothing
