David really did ALL the heavy lifting on that series. Rob Morrow might have been the putative star, but his role was way easier in terms of sheer verbiage.
true but i love the show numbers even more than that film which was decent but it Numbers was better i really wish they'd bring it back with the Original cast while they are still all around. i doubt it will though and personally i had no issues on how it ended either.
I watched Numb3rs long time ago and was glued to it, and for some reason I came across it again last week and I am literally binging ,just finished season 2 and season 3 in 5 minutes and just want to say it is the best crime film I have ever seen in my life, funny, smart, catchy with such an amazing cast so THANK YOU SO MUCH DAVID AND THE WHOLE BUNCH FOR THIS GREAT SERIES!CLASSIC!
My family loved NUMB3RS! I will say as a physics degree grad, as it progressed, it was just a lot of statistics. I was hoping for more applied math. Ah, well. Thanks, David. You've come a long way from Life with Mikey. (Yeah, I'm old, too)
I still enjoy Numb3rs; the chemistry that Krumholtz had with his fellow cast members (especially Morrow, Hirsch, MacNichols) was second only to his absolute perfection in playing Charlie. He sold the genius and the occasional awkwardness flawlessly. He's a seriously talented man.
I loved Numb3rs!! He did a great job with this role. He touched on something important - it is a JOB. Viewers think it's very glamorous to be a performer, but it is NOT.
I remember doing a scene in my acting class and it was a very difficult scene for dialogue but I used the limited props we had to my advantage. I lucked out since I would be sitting down, we had to use one of those old school desks with the cubby and I snuck my script in beforehand. I had really good vision and could look out of the corner of my eye and play certain things off. Teacher didn't have a clue what was going on.
And now neuroscience research on memory/recall very strongly supports D.K.'s approach. Ironic? In D.K.'s circumstances, "cramming" as close in time to the scene's filming (or demand for memory recall) should lead to the best result. The disclaimer is that this interpretation is based on the specific circumstances described in this vid.
Whatever they did, the show clicked on all cylinders for me. We rewatch the entire series at least once a year (along with X Files and L&O: CI, Goren and Eames only though). Some people loved Seinfeld and Arrested Development, we love Numb3rs.
Numb3rs is one of my all-time favorite shows and I loved Charlie and Larry the most! Re-watching it right now! I had to stop watching when Diane Farr came in with her insufferable nasal cursive speech, though. She is a fine actress, but by god, that voice was like nails on a chalk board, so now I am trying to get through the seasons with her, trying not to shove pencils into my ears every time she speaks.

Totally
I love how his method legit looked like he was thinking which is more natural than just blurring out the lines
It's a shame that David's contract with NUMB3RS prevented him from returning for Santa Clause 3. Bernard was definitely missed a lot.

@rolandofgilead43 seemed like it could have continued. At same time it worked to finish the series.
David is an amazing actor, Addams Family Values, 10 Things I Hate About You, Harold and Kumar, Numbers...he just elevated everything he was in.
Partners
Holy shit. I’m just now realizing Isidor Rabi in Oppenheimer was Bernard in The Santa Clause.
4:10 Genius... Absolute genius..
Thanks Michael this is your best one yet, love David.
I remember they hid a lot of his monologues by cutting in graphics and you could tell when they had him do ADR for some too.

Love Numb3rs. I still watch it 🙂
Numbers was enjoyable but his role in the The Serenity movie is what I remember him most.
I love this show. Rewatching it now with me 17yr old daughter who loves math. Thanks for this clip.

"F*** Off." Yeah, that sums it up perfectly.

Well I'll have to look for that next time I rewatch the show.

OMG, now every time I see him in Numbers I'll think of him not knowing his lines.

Goren and Eames are an amazing team, just like Mulder and Scully.
The video was working again on this podcast, so if you guys made an adjustment, thank you !
Great actor.
David in HBO's The deuce 🤟🤒
Like Michael said “Far cough “
The algorithm, the extrapolation, the formula, the simulation 😅
