I will never get over the fact that this guy is Bernard from the Santa Clause movies. Such a treat to see him in Oppenheimer!

He also played that weird comm guy in Serenity. Every time I see him in something I think of The Santa Clause and Serenity characters. He has played some unusual characters.

Can't get over the fact he played Joel in Addams Family Values (Wednesday stole the show), when I saw Oppenheimer, at first I couldn't identify him, I had to search for the credits, was so surprised he went "fat" to this movie.

I was just thinking about this guy in Oppenheimer! In a film with outstanding performances from every actor, this guy was the one where I was like "but that guy though! That guy's really doing something." IDK but something about this guy- I was just like he's really good in this. Fantastic performance.

It's crazy how its just two scenes when in the final cut (and sounds like he got more scenes after the audition), he plays a really important character in Oppenheimer's life as the friend he can rely on for giving brutally honest advice. David had a great peformance!

I feel like that's standard for artists. I'm a photographer (been full time since 2017, but shooting since 2008), and I feel like a full 3/4ths of my shoots aren't all that great. And then clients are all thrilled with the images. I had a woman about a week and a half ago who cried when I showed her the photos because she never had any good family shots done when she was a kid, and loved the ones of her family now that I did. I remember walking away feeling like I didn't get anything all that great. Basically, we're our own worst critics.
