Not only one shower!!!😅🚿🚿🚿🚿🚿
😅
Good to know. It makes sense. 🙏
😅😅😅
Looks like there is three or four for the entire building, which is kinda concerning, if all 27 rooms will be occupied 😅
I get the social aspect. I would be too introverted to enjoy it but the total no for me is the shared bathroom. I need my own toilet
Yeah, shared bathroom a big no
I loved the various amenities, especially the lounge with the bamboo views. I really wished there was like an office or study space instead of that tiny theater. I have shared bathrooms for a long time, and I absolutely hate it! I’m in my first rental space where I don’t have to for the first time 🙂🙂🙂 But in this case, at least there’s a cleaner I guess! It’s well maintained!
Good for a young person who doesn’t have to get up at night to use the bathroom. Just like a university dorm, but better.
Kind of neat for a shared commons area. I agree with those who say it's like dorm living. Nice space and cost wise like a micro apt. I do think I would personally prefer my own bathroom but the shared facilities are nice.
The best Brutalism Style building I ever see
I think the fridge in the room is a superb idea. Everyone who has been backpacking must’ve experienced their food magically disappearing. 😅
That would not happen in Japan I am sure.
@@jennycampbell5236 that’d still be nice to have your own fridge. 😁
😅
It would be great for a student for sure. I am in agreement with most comments about having your own toilet.
It’s an interesting lifestyle. Very much like dormitory living, great if you enjoy this. The rooms are fairly spacious and there are good amenities included. The rent is quite good for everything you get, but I would require more privacy. Thanks for sharing this complex.
from 1979 thru 1992 did far too much shared / community living - definitely over that - but for todays younger extroverts looks fine - who knows what Spidey will share with us next 🇨🇦🙏
All the people commenting on not enough bathrooms washing machines etc should watch the video properly. There are floor plans at the end of the video showing each floor and the amenities. Shared accommodation is not for everyone but for those who have no problem with it this is a wonderful place to live short or long term.
Thanks for your comment!🥰
You are right! Not only one shower!!!😅🚿🚿🚿
Looks like a college dorm here in the states, back in the '80s
A microwave in the room would be the only adjustment I'd make.
❤❤🇰🇪
Potential, but some odd decisions. Especially the toilet and shower situation. You find very interesting places for us to see, thank you.
Looks like a dormitory set up.
I like that you show different type of homes/apartments. I like that the room has a lot of storage from the wardrobe, drawers in the bed and desk, and even has a large fridge. The hallways and lounge area are nice with the open spaces and lots of windows showing the garden/landscape. It is more of a dorm/shared living type of space, but some people like the community-type of living to meet people - especially if the person is just sorting out in the area and don't even have furniture.
It is a house suitable for student use, or tourism. Beautiful, very beautiful and with attention to detail. A positive side of this community living is not having to think about details like storage toilet paper. 😄
Rent, taking into account that it's all inclusive, interesting, the bamboo forest is unmissable.
It's like a Korean Goshiwon ... But better ... ☺️
Reminds me of my time in the nurses' residence when I was training. We had lounge and kitchen on each floor, shared bathroom and no fridge in the room. I loved it the first time I ever had a bedroom to myself.
It's like a college dorm. I could live there with no problem.
If I could make a few adjustments to your micro-apartment, such as replacing the cooktop with a coffee machine/refrigerator area and then put your micro-apartment in this shared house, I would live there.
What a great idea. It does remind me of my university dorm but so much better. I think for a young single person it would be perfect. I would hope other residents were considerate at keeping the lounge/kitchen clean and tidy.
This one's pretty sweet! But at 60+ yrs old, I'd never be able to deal with all those stairs. But, if I was young & single? This would be great! So happy to see a small place again. Thank you 💖💖
This is a good arrangement for someone who is social and likes to be around people but doesn't want to worry about having a roommate paying their portion of the rent. It is similar to a gosiwon in Korea, but this is fancier and has more amenities, like the gym and theater.
A good place for between places when you’re younger
I would live here. That is affordable.
I love all the storage in the room. It would be great for students or low income individuals. I would need my own bathroom though.
I kinda love this place. Like as a whole house scenario in terms of style.
If I were single I would love there. I'm an introvert but I like spending time with people on my terms which actually works perfectly well in these situations. (I was in boarding school, sharing a room with one other only. Not because we were posh but because where I lived we were very remote and it was too far for most kids to travel to school, it was free!) I'm legally blind and that window still, Is sit in it and listen to audio books, enjoying the sun, or the evenings, it would be magic. ❤❤
I don't enjoy cleaning my bathroom so I aprove the idea
Hmmm...looks like student accommodation. Don't like the idea of shared bathrooms and are there only two washing machines/ dryers for the whole building?! Would much rather have your apartment 😉
Yes, only two and you would need to go check if it’s free every time…
And someone would have used both by the time you got back with your laundry. I can share a wc or a bath, but not laundry.
Wow, i hope this kind of shared house will be available in Jakarta, Indonesia. What a good space to live in. 😍
Nice! I could live there! Thank's for sharing! Have a nice weekend, Usui.
It reminds me of a college dorm...but a really fancy one!
I hope there's more than one shower room for the entire complex. lol
I thought the same thing!
Not only one shower!!!😅🚿🚿🚿
What a great space, ideal for young singles or students. It reminds me of an upscale Gosiwon in Korea. Thanks again ❤ have a good day.
It is similar to university dorms (although each normally has a private bathroom) or a rooming house. One bathroom/shower for 9 residents is not ideal. But it's got character and the rent is not bad. Apartment cat loved those deep windows.
Well-thought-out design. Great rent and location. BUT, not sure I want to live with 26 other people. Kinda like uni dorm days. Interesting. Thanks for the tour! 😍
Perfect for one person. They would have all they need. Price is very reasonable.
Hi Usui, interesting but not for me. Looks like a college dorm complex. I prefer my own kitchen and bathroom. But is good to know all the living alternatives out there.
Looks like student housing you can find all over the US, very nice.
This place reminds me of a college dorm, a little pricey for such a small room, but it will do if you are in a crunch would prefer my own bathroom but nice place it was clean and neat.
Wow!!! The price is quite good for all the commodities provided. This will be an ideal scene for a single person. I truly liked this place Usui. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Hi Usui-San 👋 this one looks very interesting. I kinda like this dormitory like place. It reminds me of when I was a university student. I miss it honestly. The only downside for me would be lack of sink/ running water in the room. It was an underrated part of my university dorm. This video was a nice little pick up for me today ☺️
Great tour of a shared housing
Would be perfect for a student or young person starting their career
Shame you have to share a bathroom
But I like the rest of the shared rooms in house
Thank you for sharing Usui
Take care and see you in next video
❤❤❤❤😂😂
Thank you for the heart ❤️
These are the nicest rooms in a share house I've seen 😍 lived in shared accommodation before and it's not for me, but this is a good one
sort of a dorm, sort of a hostel, if the room had a toilet, that would be a game changer. The price is great, too
If it’s not so far away from Tokyo I would definitely live here
If there were private bathrooms, I would think it was quite lovely. Unfortunately I just can't do shared showers, and I do not like using public toilets all the time. But everything else was so beautiful
I think this is something that needs to be exploited all over the world. Down here in Venezuela I met a place that offered the same idea, shared living spaces, but never at this level. It would be amazing if the culture all over the world adapted to allow these kind of living spaces to thrive and be more accessible. BTW, I'd love to live in that shared house for at least a week
Hello. May I ask what part of Venezuela have you seen shared living spaces? I'm curious.😅
@@yousanfloc There was a place in Guacara, Carabobo. I don't know if it had a name, but it was basically bedrooms with tiny kitchens. Showers and restrooms were outside the room.
I think you introduced a really neat place! I liked it and I think a person could have a very good experience living there! 😊😊😊
That is a very nice concept of living.
The room looks lovely and the kitchen is well equipped.
Fitnesscenter and movie room are cool addons.
I think this would be perfect for young people and students.
That is nice, between hotel and room to rent. I just do not like cement walls everywhere.
I would lived here. Nice room, much space
Many people commented that this is like college dormitory. I agree in some aspects, but disagree in others. The sharing of common living space such as the lounge, the gym, and the kitchen does resemble living in a dormitory. However, in a college dormitory, you know that the other residents are also university students, whereas in a community like the one in this video, other residents can come from all walks of life, making the community much more complex than a college dormitory. That said, I personally won't consider such communal living. It feels weird to share the kitchen, shower room and toilet with people I don't know. Its not because I am introverted or something like that. Throughout my four years in college, I shared literally everything with my roommates (the room, shower, toilet, kitchen, refrigerator) - the only thing we didn't share was the bed we slept in.🤣 Then, I joined the military. It is not the sharing of the facility that puts me off, but the fact that I don't know whom I am sharing the space with.
Nonetheless, there are apparently upsides in such communal living as well. First, the rent is cheaper. Second, many of them are furnished, which means you won't have to spend money on buying furniture and can move in immediately. Third, IF the facility is professionally managed, you will apparently be liberated from household chores such as cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, toilets. Even if such chores are shared amongst residents, it will still be less of a burden than you have to do it by yourself when living alone. Fourth, communal living can be a great place to meet new people and develop social skills.
There are both ups and downs. Communal living is not for everyone, but it has been gaining popularity in recent years as housing prices and rents spiral upwards.
Great content. Thanks for sharing! 👍
$500 a month with utilities included? That's a steal! The only thing concerning is one shower. For everyone. Also the weights next to the window seems like an accident waiting to happen. Everything else is amazing. Pros definitely outweigh the cons if you can avoid the rush hour where everyone is trying to go to work.
Not only one shower!😅🚿🚿🚿
I like the huge community spaces a lot. They are so bright and have a nice view to the bamboo grove.
The building looks like a dormitory for students but did I get this right: there's only one shower for 27 people?
Not only one shower!😅🚿🚿🚿
Hi Usui, nice to hear from you again!
I think this shared house can be useful for young people and students who spend nearly all day outside, like social life and don't mind living like camping...
I'd like more privacy.
Anyway, always interesting!
What a great and inexpensive way to make friends and have everything you need. Looks fun 👍😊
Brutalist to the max! 😮
Looks like a college dorm, except you don’t have a roommate. Perhaps a good arrangement for extroverts, but not for me. (That yellow wall was awful!)
Interesting concept!
Hiya! I think for that price I'd like better a micro-apartment. As other commenters said, I'd need my own toilet, and it gave me the feeling of being in a maze 😅
Thanks for sharing this. I've compared it to share houses or HMO, House of Multiple Occupation, advertised here in England and to be honest that place is huge and offer way more facilities and services, that bit is really nice.
If my university dorm back then was this nice, I might have pursued another degree there 😅😅
theatre room disappointingly small - plus who watches anything without snacks and drinks 😢 the kitchen lounge looks brand new and tidy - is there cleaning staff or are residents expected to keep things this clean 🙄 grad students or young professionals probably target residents - gonna pass on this though it’s gonna please somebody or else it wouldn’t have been built 🇨🇦🙏
I expected it to be cheaper by half, given that it's shared and quite remote in location....
this is a communal house. Such houses were very popular in the Soviet Union. now everyone wants to live in their own self-contained apartments (with kitchen, bathroom and toilet). but I see a great potential for communal houses 🙂
Love this one😊
Nice. I could imagine to live there. ❤
I'm really introverted, but this one is so cozy and beautiful - I LOVE IT
I've been sharing a bathroom with my husband for 35 years ..which is 34 years too - let alone with strangers.
It would be perfect if anyone had their own showers/toilets in their rooms and a shared bath instead. I could live with a shared kitchen, lounge and laundry room but it's a dealbreaker with the shared bathrooms/toilets for me. It would feel like a dorm or a modern ryokan. It's fine for a short stay but not great for long term living.
It reminds me of a university dormitory. My niece stayed in one for 3 years at the Australian National University over 10 years ago. She did have shared laundry, bathroom and toilet facilities, but all food was provided cafeteria style.
Es ist wirklich schön! ❤
Für mich wäre es trotzdem nichts! 🤷♀️ 🌞
Excellent idea. Very nice
This reminds me of living in a sorority house in university and of staying in hostels.
Does the rent include the cost of maintenance and cleaning of the common areas or are the residents assigned these tasks? We have a cohousing community in my city where residents each have their own small home but are expected to cook for one another and have their meals in a common building several days a week. The residents are assigned to maintain the landscape, clean the common building and so forth.
groovy music.🎼🎶🎵
One tub for all the residents? 😱
Not only one shower!😅🚿🚿🚿
@@usui503 😅
Very nice 👍
this place is awesome!
Very nice, I wouldn't mind staying here.
Nice place! But it's it really only one shower/bathtub available for 27 apartments? 😮
Not only one shower!😅🚿🚿🚿
It's a hotel. Only with access to the laundry and kitchen .......
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Not bad if just starting out in life.
Its beautiful isn't it?
I love the fact that it's so simple you just need a microwave for microwavable foods,drinks,fruits... The only inconvenience is when you quickly have to attend yourself to the wash room... That's something I would love after a year for me to finish all sorts!
As a student at the university, I would love an accommodation like that, but it is expensive. I spend that amount on my apartment and the food in the university canteen that amount. But if you are not doing the cleaning by yourself, it is OK, cleaning takes a lot of time.
Netflix Japan: Frieren, Suzume, Kaiju No. 8... I think that are the most knowed of the last year and this one... Frieren and Suzume, I recommend it to anybody.
Thanks for your comment!
I love Frieren too.🥰
This would be ok for people that don't mind socialising, but someone that hates it this is a nightmare. Even if you cook with no one around you'll still be waiting for when someone walks through the door so you can never fully relax
This looks amazing! I would not mind living here, although i do think that 2 stoves and loundry machines is not enough for the amount of residents? You would have to wait all the time
The shared house? They only share a bathroom & kitchen or living room, but they have everything u need. For the beginner foreigner living in Japan, living in a shared house is a better way for a first start.
It looks very nice , but this is for students or young profesional adult... maybe. Take care of yourself you and Mr Spiderman.
Is it the tenants that have to keep the common rooms clean or is there a cleaning service?? I like the idea of living this way and the price is good for all that you get. Thanks for making these videos 👍
Thanks for your comment!
The cleaners will come every week!😎🚽🧹
I would love to stay here if a dog is allowed! I can stay in the room if when I feel like an introvert, or hang out in the communal space when I want to interact. The full glass that allows us to view and walk past the greenery is so healing. If the bedroom has its own bathroom or at least toilet, it will be perfect. Can foreigners rent it?
Of course, foreigners can rent!🥰
