It is a fish grill, not really a gas oven in the sense that it gives direct flame. You could use it not only for fish but also for meat, vegetables or bead and you could find recipes in internet using that fish grill and you could buy cooking metal containers to put into that grill, cheap ones from NITORI or DAISO, fancy ones from internet or maybe decent department store’s kitchen floor. Please be careful though for fire accidents, or foods’ overflowing (cleaning the grill would very hard), never take your eyes completely off from the grill, it is not as stable as gas oven😊 Enjoy Japan!

I'm sure in Japan you could find many inexpensive mini portable washing machines to choose from--to place in that floor sink. Hang laundry to dry on balcony. I could surely live in this apartment, easily. 👍🏻

Thanks for showing your apartment. You are going to have a wonderful adventure and I and so envious of you haha! I would love to visit Japan sometime with my family for at least two weeks. I would love to stay there for a few months and work there but that's not possible for me lol! Have a wonderful time living your dream!
Thanks so much for the kind words. Hope you can go to japan some day
I am glad TH-cam had this video in my feed! New sub! If I remember correctly, it is best to shower and then take a bath (if you want to take a bath). So that you are clean when you sit in water. That little nook near the kitchen would be a great place to put a desk and then you can look out the window while working!
Hey Emily, thanks for your kind words and sub!
yes the showering before bathing is a common thing here. It has been so humid and hot lately I shower only thou. I put my desk in the other small room for now. But thanks for the input. Keep you updated when room changes. Greeting from Japan
Wow that seems huge for a tiny apartment in Japan. Seems really nice and spacious
@@jonathanweeds yes definitely enough for one person
The apartment looks fantastic, I'm so envious! Even that view is really good.
The little 'oven' is a 'fish grill', btw. Fairly common in Japan, from what I gather. I imagine you can heat anything you can fit into it, not just fish :P
Thanks for the comment , yes people keep telling me it’s for fish 😂😂 about the view , I really love it . I realized all other apartment on the same floor don’t have this view . Super happy
That "oven" is a grill where you can grill fish or other foods. It's like a toaster oven.
Great, thanks for helping me out. I’ll try a toast soon :)
i like how i just watched the tour with Hang with Christian and now seeing your moving day. Epic!
Oh great. Yeah the video with Chris is great. He has a talent for hosting videos. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Where's the toilet
13:40
Just like in old country. Out the window.
I like that girl a lot, a smile on her face all the time, seems calm and strong...lots of patience 😂 this guy opening all the doors.
What girl?
Were is the toilet
13:48
Exactly, where’s the toilet ? By the entrance
Yes, where is the toilet??!! Very unusual not seeing a toilet in the bathroom…unless it is by foot of tub?
Where, and watch the video again. This time be observant. I saw the toilet.
I loved the tour of your great apartment. Subbed.
Don’t know if anyone has already mentioned this LIFE HACK. But if you don’t want to buy your own washing machine for a short stay you can always use public laundries. Check out the map, maybe you have one nearby :)
Hey thanks for the comment . I actually lived of coin laundry for like 4 weeks😂 just bought a used laundry machine thou, pretty cheap and they even brought it to my place and installed it + 6 months warranty. Happy to give a new video update if my place once it looks better ☺️☺️ also other life hack. Someone told me you can rent a laundry machine in Japan.
Loved exploring your apartment with you. Looks very nice. But you could watch your language.
True. I will in future videos
I hear Japan is expensive. So $400.00 is a great deal and the apartment looks well taken care of and the space is quite roomie.
Well I guess it always depends on where you come from and what currency you earn. But there are definitely cheaper countries. Keep in mind, after adding water, gas, electricity bill, insurances, wifi etc. I pay a bit over 500$ in the end.
I've watched some small apartments on TH-cam and this is nice 👌 👍 More than enough room. Great price 👍
Yes for one person super spacious. I'm super happy. Glad you liked the video, thanks for watching
You got a big apartment
Yes it’s spacious
Congratulations finding a great house for you! Hello from Nunavut Canada
Thanks for the kind comment. 🙏🏻☺️
Nunavut? Wow, you are far north!
Greetings from Tennessee USA 🇺🇲 do you speak Japanese any down payment only 500$ month nice place I like the hallway stay safe
I am able to hold a basic conversation in Japanese but far from fluency. I came to Japan to study Japanese at a language school. Down payment was almost 3 rents. Thanks for watching. Where does your interest in Japan come from?
@@bernoGarcia you doing great it's a hard language except you keep saying s
..t in English and we didn't like that was disrespectful but stay safe and good luck to you
10/10 video, watching this as a german haha.
Currently 17 and after my Abitur I might move to fukuoka too. It's pretty cheap!
Ha ha ha ha you are not the owner of an apartment you’re just a renter
There are actually apartments that you can buy and then there are ones you can rent example can be if you rent an apartment you need promission to paint but if you buy one you dont
I know , never claimed it’s mine
Great video. Enjoy your new apartment ❤
Thank you so much , I am
That young man as ure likes whining.
Life is hard :P
Wow that apartment is nice. 👏 Nice find🎉
I'm sure in Japan you could find many inexpensive mini portable washing machines to choose from--to place in that floor sink. Hang laundry to dry on balcony. I could surely live in this apartment, easily. 👍🏻
It's a closet in USA, a wardrobe in UK. Nice apartment. Enjoy .
English is hard hahah. Thanks for watching
It’s all in what each individual wants or is willing to give up, right? You could have a big closet and live in the U.K. or a big apartment and live in the U.S., or , a small apartment and closet, and live in a cool city in Japan. :) 🍜🥟🍢🍡⛩🏯🎆🗾
The kitchen reminds me of the apartment we lived in, in Nurnberg Germany - it was 5th floor at the end of the hall. Lived there 8 months and got military quarters on Christmas Eve.
I love it . Could be cute just with acouple things. I always wwanted to go there.
