The Heaven officials blessing series has taken over my life and consumed all of my thoughts as of late. So it seemed only fitting for me to vlog my experience reading the final volume of this series. There's laughing, crying and so much fingerling. I really hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I started reading TGCF while i was going through a breakup and it made me believe in love again🥺 and that there would be someone who will accept me regardless of what I’ve been through! Such a beautiful series🥺 Hualian Forever 😭🥰🫶🏾

Seeing new Tgcf fans will never fail to make me smile! I’ve been a fan of mxtx since before any of the official translations were released and I have vivid memories of fan translations I was reading being deleted and having to ask people online for links to shady websites so I could continue reading (I probably contracted many viruses from this method tho lol). When I finished reading it all, I was so obsessed and I needed to rant to someone about it but I didn’t have many friends at the time, so I went to my dad (who I wasn’t very close at the time bc I was in my preteen angst/kinda depressed phase) and gave him a two hour long summary of all the books and he was so supportive of my obsession since it had been so long since I had been so happy about something, and my obsession brought us very close. I remember when the first volume was released and running to my local b&n with my dad to pick up one of the probably 2 copies they had in stock. Loved this video and I can’t wait for mxtxs new book

I finished reading the last novels during this Christmas and boy I couldn’t even think clearly cause TGCF occupied my whole mind. My family probably wondered what was wrong with me since I was very distant after binge reading the last five books in the series in four days. I couldn’t even get much sleep cause ~obsession~ 😂

I read Scum Villain by the same author several years ago and it kind of changed the way i look at art and creativity and fandom. I was daunted by the length of tgcf though and put it off for a long time, (even though i bought a bunch of merch of the characters 😂), but i just finished reading it a few weeks ago and im obsessed and all i want to do it read it and Scum Villain again. One awesome thing about tgcf and mxtx's other works is just how much fancontent there is to enjoy once the series is over.
Haha I completely understand. Even though tgcf has 8 volumes, I enjoyed every single bit of it. Now I’m super excited to try Scum Villain and Grandmaster this year!

Who didn't talk about erha😭😭😭. Like erha, tgcf ,mdzs are some of the novels which are very popular and talked about a lot. I think in 2020-2021 they were the most talked about and also there were many readthroughs of them too. I have been reading danmei novels for 4yrs now and have read more than 100 novels. Tgcf and erha still remain top1 for me.

Legit though, when I tell you there has never been a story that made me both laugh and cry simultaneously like TGCF did 😭 I always see fans say “TGCF broke me” and I get it now.

Tgcf has been a really special story for me and I'm extremely happy to have read the book
I really hated reading books since I was a kid, I hated reading in general
I'm also a slow reader
But after watching the whole season 1 of the donghua(at the time it was only season 1)
I have been convinced
And I'VE FINISHED THE WHOLE THING WITHIN A MONTH😭
I'm still obsessed after almost 2 years(if you're wondering how I read the entire novel almost 2 years ago, there's online translations😅)
I started reading other danmeis
But tgcf still has a special place in my heart

AGHH!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!! You should totally read Scum Villain's Self Saving System, as well as Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. I entered the danmei fandom through the Chinese Drama "The Untamed", which is an adaptation of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. It's so good, a bit more slow burn, but I like the plot better :3
I’m definitely gonna get to those two soon! I’ve heard a bit about Untamed as well so it looks like I’ll be watching that asap haha
Welcome to the danmei fandom!! It's always good to see someone new find these novels and recommending them to other people. To be honest, I haven't read any other book that portray the same amount of feeling than these books have. Specially TGCF! I fell in love with their love. It was just so sweet and tender and UGH! MY HUALIAN HEART! 🤧💖
I recommend for you to read the rest of MXTX books, as well as:

•Lord Seventh (Qi Ye)
• Golden Terrace
and a whole lot more! I have a couple on my list to read which you can find in Barnes and Noble as well (Stars of Chaos, Guardian, Autumn Leaves, Remnants of Filth). I've heard they're good and I can't wait for the other volumes to drop so that I can start reading them.

Someone who has been a fan of tgcf for about 4 years now I can relate being obsessed (yes also bought the 8 book as soon as it came out your not alone lol) with them as well. I think we can all agree we love their love and want what they have ❤️

My favorite of all the MXTX works. I took my time and really enjoyed every moment. Danmei is now so far ahead of most genres it's hard to find anything else that can compare.
I can't buy the books because homophobic parents and I don't have money of my own so it sucks but seeing Heaven Official's Blessing being loved this much makes me so so so so happy because I found it when only the first translation was released and I binged the fan translations in like 2 weeks. I have to say it's probably the most well constructed incredibly gripping story I have ever read and I hope it gathers a huge following and gets immensely popular. I love your excitement omggggg this is precious, have fun and spread the gospel!!! lol
it took me sooo long to start this book but once I got into it.... life-changing, it is quite possibly my favourite love story ever I will always be obsessed
I totally get it!! I still haven’t read anything else this year that has given me all the same feelings as this series! I’m already looking forward to a re-read.
I can totally relate hahaha, tgcf is my favorite novel, I have every english version, although I have read it online before but I had to get them physically after they came out. The last Special Edition is just beautiful, I also bought the german version because I want to read it in german and the book itself in the german version is so so beautiful (same cover but it has like a pattern on the side), there are no covers more beautiful than tgcf, although the german version of mdzs is also really beautiful, if you haven‘t yet read mdzs, I can totally recommend at, especially the live action (the untamed), you will be obsessed with this show, the actors are just amazing, wang yibo and xiao zhan are the best (especially their bts). Mxtx is such a good writer, I want to read Svss as well but I‘m currently reading erha, danmei just developed as my favorite genre and I really really pray and hope that the life action for tgcf (eternal faith) and for many others will get released but it’s hard in china because of censorship

@@Khushi_Kishore yes, the german versions are so unique and beautiful (both tgcf and mdzs), and very good haha, I'm curious what you will say about mdzs/the untamed, the thing is that the untamed is theoretically bromance because of China's censorship but it's still so soo good, especially the chemistry (bts and in the show) of the two main actors! :)

I love TGCF but you won't understand pain until you read Dumb Husky and His White Cat... that shit was heartwrenching. I really recommend. Also Remnants of Filth and Mo Dao Zushi

I saw this video a week ago and I thought let's just give it a try and right now I am on volume 4 😂 because it is soo soo good, literally I save all the art work and I love every scene of xi lian and Hua cheng, volume 2 is my favourite right now but also volume 3, I love all the volumes till now, can't choose one. The art of the gambling den is my wallpaper.

I randomly came across the first 3 volumes at my library and checked them out as soon as I saw them because I saw a meme about the show lol. But I’ve been reading this series and this is also my new fixation. This series is making me believe in love again 🥹❤️

I binged season 1 as soon as I finished volume 1. Can’t wait to watch season 2!
i watched the first season of the dounhua like a couple months ago and i kpt on rewatching it over and over again and then i found out it was based off of novels- i didnt know if i could convince my parents to buy them for me but one day on thanksgiving break my cousin (who is also a weeb) said that we would be going to this super cool asian market because they wanted some manga and there wasnt any barns n nobles near by, i didnt plan on getting anything but then i spoted tgcf. i grabed all 8 book and when my dad said he wouldnt buy all ofthose for me. he only got me the 2nd and 3rd book. i was fine with this and i read the 2nd book non stop, even during thanksgiving, if i wasnt eating or being talked to by a older member of my family i'd be in my rich uncle's reading/living room and just be sitting down reading.
i couldnt finish book 3 while i was on the trip so i only started it then basicly forgot about it for al ittlle, my hyperfixation almost vanished since i wasnt that invested in the flashback to xie lian's past. then, on christmas, my dad brought me books 4 and 5. i didnt sleep for 3 days straight because i spent all day and night reading books 3 4 and 5. my dad still hasnt brought me any more books so im just consuming as much tgcf content as i physically can while avoiding spoilers.
Oh you’ll love the rest of it! I was pleasantly surprised by how invested I was even in the flashback parts

@@queenvictoria4237I did the math, all 8 books of TGCF have 3470 pages in total whereas the bible has 1281 so it’s is almost 3 times as long as the bible. That’s why we like to call it our own bible 😂
