    You know, you can drastically lower the weight center and load up the front axle by swapping the battery and the esc location. Get rid of the rear tray completely, and pinch the esc between the rails with foam tape. The front tray can be trimmed to hold the battery down low in the frame in front of the motor.
    I also removed the front bumper, and the rails in front of the shock mounts for more servo travel. Then body mounted the lights.
    Be well, and have fun.

    When tightening your steering servo horn, you can hold the horn with your fingers, so that you can get that last little bit of torque onto the screw in a controlled way…aka snug.
    P.S. Shoutout to INJORA!

    • @ReadytoRunRC
      @ReadytoRunRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t want to over tighten. The servo holds its position pretty good that I felt it was snug enough. Yes shout out to Injora!

    I wouldn’t suggest doing any grinding on the motor shaft of your motors. Because metal shavings are likely to end up sticking to the magnets inside the motor.

    The servo should be the emax digital servo, just rebranded for Injora (my guess). The emax digital servo is typically a couple dollars more than the analogue.

    • @ReadytoRunRC
      @ReadytoRunRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was comparing them when I took the emax off and it looked very similar and had the same thoughts as you that it was just a rebranded emax. Everything looked identical except the sticker.

    • @texomarc
      @texomarc 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReadytoRunRC
      Yeah, Emax has two versions, one digital and the other analogue. The one that everybody puts in their car is usually the analogue. The digital is claimed to be a little better. The injora servo should be the digital version of the emax.

    So when pulling back on the throttle control and if it did go in reverse and you want it to go forward when pulling back couldn’t you just change directional on remote?

    • @ReadytoRunRC
      @ReadytoRunRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure where there’s anything on the remote that changes the direction for throttle control. The only thing I see that you can reverse is for channel 1 which is for your steering servo so you can have reversed controls for steering.

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReadytoRunRC man you are correct I have several scx24’s and the Jeep gladiator does have throttle reverse on the remote so when I made my comment I assumed they all had it..lol. I’m throwing portal axles on a few and the portals run in reverse so the gladiator is just a matter of flipping a switch but on the c10 and deadbolt I’ll have to do your method. Sorry for the confusion.

      The worm drive of the SCX24 is ideal for slow speed, where it acts as a mechanical drag brake. So if it’s low speed you are looking for, a tiny truck with a worm drive is ideal.
