V2 esc needed. V1 axial esc has a rough start up. V2 unloads power earlier and smoother. The t rating refers to the copper winding inside. More winding means more torque less top speed. Go with the 66t on a V2 esc. You will be right up there with the pro builds👍👍(expensive furitek electronics not necessary unless you want that lil bit extra)
Sounds like the motor gear is too tight against the spur gear. You can hear it “whining” as it tries to turn. That would also explain why it’s hesitant to start in both low and high gears and then jumps a little once it starts turning. I guess you’ll find out sooner rather than later if that’s the case.
Words of wisdom, sounds like the wheels maybe to tight, when it makes noise I found as t tight on wheels, losen the lugs not tight, should stop that grind noise in it when it run fast
That's crazy because I have actually had the opposite experience the 50 turn is way more slower and more controllable than the 66 turn maybe we're just gear differently
@@farmboyrc Thank you so much for the quick reply and the video of course. Which motor is your favorite and why, if I may ask? And more importantly, are both motors significantly faster than the original motor? I know top speed is not an advantage when crawling but I like to have more speed for the Scx24.
@@tommygo9185 I prefer the 66t because it is faster but still has the torque, I need I think there a little faster than stock, but it depends on tire size and gearing if you have changed that.
@@farmboyrc Once again, many, many thanks for the quick responses. These and your video have definitely helped me. I am also leaning towards the 66T motor. Do you possibly have one last idea on how to get the wheels spinning a bit at full speed on Scx24 without exploding the costs or is that absolutely impossible due to the construction?
There's a video of a guy testing a range of motors and the injora 66 had way higher rpm and amp draw than the the injora 50 and he was surprised saying it should be the other way round. Seems to be people as noticing the same result
I was wondering what was wrong with mine. I bought it without doing any research. Will the V2 ESC work with the V1 remote? I'm really not up to speed on electronics.
Sorry, but ........... the best motor for RC is absolutly the Hobbywing Fusion Pro ( ca. 150 € here) and Hobbywing Fusion SE (ca. 80 € here) ... In this motors are includet the ECE, so the costs are not more than "standart"- equipment !! I use 2 of them in my trucks ... 1 Axial AX10-3 and a Traxxas TRX 6 (build as 6x6 Jeep TJ) ... and the work sooooo very well and smooth ... unbelievable !! I will NEVER buy another motor for my Crawlers or other off-roaders !! Greetings from Germany 👍👍👍

How do I know which version esc I have?
@@eduardosalazar3940 the v2 are blue the v1 are black I believe
Interesting comparison. The servo horn is killer on your rig!!! Looks just like a engine fan!!!!🤘🤘🤘
that's why I kept it! so far this is my favorite custom body I've had for it!
My AX24 needs a motor upgrade since when I put on brass wheels she loses power. This is great.
Thank you mate for this video!!!! Help me a lot for choosing!!!🥇👍👍👍 Nice drive 😉👌

that makes sense! the only problem is the motor mount doesn't have much room to set your mesh.
It's all personal choice but hands down the purple is the better colors aside
That's a great looking rig I have both of those motors just waiting to burn up a stocker to put one in . You got a sub from me
i love them!
Awesome
Good review
This answers several of my questions about motors I just ordered, but haven’t installed yet
Red one for sure. Thanks.
Glad you found the right motor!

I need two of the reds! Thank you for testing!
Oh that hissing noise! How to reduce/remove it?
I honestly have no clue how to get rid of it! I don't thank you can.
I also hate it, I cannot stand it, it is much better with esc v2. I'd say there is no noise with v2.
That's crazy because I have actually had the opposite experience the 50 turn is way more slower and more controllable than the 66 turn maybe we're just gear differently
I don't know much about it, but it could be tire size to!
Hello, which motor accelerates better and which has the higher top speed?
50t accelerates better 66t is faster in my opinion

@@tommygo9185 don't know exactly what you mean but injora has wheel and tire sets and you save money by buying those
whys everyone saying the 66t injora has more top speed than the 50t? higher the turn the more torque and less top speed...

Injora pro needs v2 reciever. Pro motor magnets are 3 grams heavier than the 66t motor.

@North Texas Skies yes v1 remote works with v2 esc. V2 remote does not work with v1 esc i believe tho.
Will these motors fit in a wpl c24?
I have no clue! but I have a feeling it won't. there pretty cheap so you could try.
Furitek micro kamodo with the iguana bec.
Brushless is the way to go!
Extreme to the max
Does anybody know if these motors can run 3s? They seem quite a lot bigger than the stock motors
i have no clue. id like to try though. i think it would fry the motor.

The purple one is better than the red with the v2 ESC
I haven't had the v2 esc, but I've heard it has better control
Purple is faster. Red has more torque. I prefer the red 66t for more slow speed control.
@Farm Boy rc Honestly the V2 is as good as the Furitek and they're 1/3 of the price.
BS. The purple one has no slow crawl.
I like red motor better 😊 thanks ,i wanted to know before I put one in,I'm sending the purple one back

Have you realized these are 24th scale rigs and not 10th scale rigs?
