Thank you so much for sharing this game with us. I bought it and introduced it to my two little girls (8/5). We are on chapter three after one day (had to eat and go to school). They are in total love with the mice. They talk themselves to bed talking about the adventure. They pretend to be Tilda and Lilly all the time and talk like mice. It has been so fucking amazing to watch them use their imagination and get so much from this game. Best board game from my 40+ that I have by far.
If you don't have the episodes to include the rest of the chapters in this season, you should set up a new series just for this. Really enjoyed these two episodes and would really love to see more.
Oh, those puns Wil made near the beginning reminds me of the type of jokes my father always tells... Which is actually a good thing since it adds more to the experience of seeing this game session as a family experience! 😃
Got a theory on Wil's abysmal dice-rolling skills on Tabletop. It goes all the way back to season one, and the chanting of a certain King in Yellow's name. He said the name about 6 times, right? Not that big a deal... except that since it was recorded and posted on the internet, Wil has actually said that name almost *six and a half million times* (based purely on the number of times the video was viewed); that's not counting the unknown number of times people have watched the DVDs. Even if each utterance only affected a single dice-roll, Wil would still have well over *six million* bad rolls to work his way through.
Wil and the crew at Tabletop should be very pleased what they did this season. The backers of this season as well as Titansgrave, got everything they promised in production value. This was a phenomenal season, and all involved should be congratulated on a job well done. Just like the end of mice and mystics, there were all winners this season. All involved gain a level of awesome. Level up!
Wil I want to say thank you for bringing all these wonderful and hilarious ppl together and allowing us to join you in so many memorable moments, I really hope to see more soon. this is a great show its funny and well made, it's also introduced me to a lot of awesome games I didn't know existed and I can't wait to play. to all the ppl who get hung up on the "rules" of the games give the insults a rest I doubt there's one tabletop gamer that hasn't messed up at least once I know I have and wil has over 80 games in 3 seasons plus an acting career cut him a little slack and stop nitpicking enjoy it for what it is, entertainment.
Kyle Hamilton I see plenty of Monty Python references, but hardly any involving spam (and yes I have seen the spam sketch). Most people I know reference the Holy Grail or the Spanish Inquisition.
You totally need to keep this series going on. I love the interaction with your family, and for those of us who have a nearly impossible time getting friends and family to play games like this, it's a lot of fun seeing others play through an adventure game.
Thank you so much for giving us a peak into the Team Wheaton tabletop nights! The puns were a complete joy, and Anne's look of betrayal at being killed/captured (but let's be honest, it was murder) due to Wil's roll was priceless. Keep being awesome, all of you!
9:16 " Wether your attack hits or not, you always roll defense dice .." Hey ! I think you´re wrong at that point. I have the german rulebook and it´s different there. So i looked up the english rulebook and it says the same as the german one. Page 11 :" If a mouse inflicted one or more hits, the player to the left of the active player rolls defense for the targeted minion and adds the number of sword/shield results rolled. " So only if at least ONE attack hits, you roll for defence. No hit, no defence roll, no cheese for you. The good thing : there´s also no cheese for the defending enemy :)
The gag reel for these episodes should be a collection of all the puns that were made. Just an a friendly suggestion. As always, Team TableTop, you do great work.
I still think these two episodes are the best! it is so fun to watch Wil Wheaton just relish having family game time. He even looks at both the boys like he is reading a bedtime story when he reads the story moment from the books hehehe!

They should totally continue the adventure next season. I'd really enjoy watching them play as a family more than the gag reels, which would be better used between seasons for filler.
I HAVE to get this game. My kids have been wanting to play D&D with us but they are too young to grasp all the details to play. this is just right for them.
Aww, another episode come and gone! I've been loving this series! It's been helping my love of board games, and it's wonderful to see so many people with the same love! I got this game a while ago, and so far I haven't been able to get past the first chapter due to other people losing interest or lack of time. I hope I can continue this game (As well as the Dawnwood Tales expansion). I'm looking forward to the next season!
Let me start by saying THANK YOU FOR PLAYING THIS GAME! It is my favorite - and what got me back into RPGs. Huge fans of this, Tabletop, and Geek & Sundry in general.That being said (and I don't want to point out a bunch of rules errors or stupid stuff like that, even the game's creator said to play it as best gives you all fun!): Nez shouldn't have been captured - the Elite Rats use Ranged Attacks (Bows) and Wil rolled 3 misses.

This is fantastic and completely adorable! My family just recently implemented regular family game nights and I have been searching for options other than typical games we've already played 1,000 times (monopoly, clue, sorry, etc). I just ordered this for our next game night!

Wil and his family (schedules permitting, of course) should make this into a longer "full" version. I, for one, LOVED the interactions between the four of them and thought it was really great to see Wil loosen up because he was around his own family and not trying so hard to be "PC"
After watching tabletop I've bought betrayal on house on the hill, coup and sherif of Nottingham. Definitely has introduced me to some awesome board games.
How many people on that set and NO ONE remembered that Elite Rats are RANGED? I mean, it ended up not mattering very much, but still. Nolan was rolling like an absolute BOSS against those spiders though. I also like to think that when Nez killed that Elite Rat, it was like he was wielding Mjolnir and splattered the rat like putty.
D Gmaz yeah let me tell you, my little brother won the subscriber draw for critical roll where he got some signed stuff so I started watching and Matt Mercer and the game are a great cast with great stories in a D&D environment.
I think I speak for everyone when I say "Make more of these! We demand you finish Mice and Mystics!"
