    So glad this came up in my feed. I’ve always gone the paper bag and glue route. This is so more authentic. Thanks.

    Love the subtitles! Sheena's accent is hard to follow but some of the subtitles are hilarious. This is a great technique and often use it.

    Hi Sheena. I tried this technique out today. I could not get your products to seal it , so I used Modge on 1, Hibuild Sealer on 2nd one and a liquid varnish on the 3rd one. I must say I think I am liking the liquid varnish the best, but all 3 have come out well. You do have to give at least 4 coats with all 3 methods. LOVE IT!!!

    finally got round to getting the right kraft paper and will be trying the technique out very soon. I know Sheena does not have time to check the comments or answer but does someone else know how I can get the different colors she shows in the video? is it still using the craft card and just coloring on top with a different color distress ink ? Thanks to Sheena for all the inspiraiton.

    Can you use (recycled) carton to make this.

    • @inkenhafner7187
      @inkenhafner7187 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use one-layered carton, paperbags (then maybe without or much less glycerine), Kraft-paper, packing paper. The thicker the paper the more glycerine you'll need, the thinner it is the greater is the danger that the glycerine just lets the paper desintegrate and it will fall apart when you crumple it.
      You can also use handcream or cheap hair conditioner instead of the water-glycerin mixture. Therevs glycerine in it, too.

      It's a mixture of about one part of glycerin and 5-6 parts of water. You can also use the cheapest brands of hand cream and hair conditioner, they also contain a lot of glycerine.
      The glycerine softens the paper fibres.
