Love this demo. So many things you can make with this faux leather technique. Thanks so much for sharing. Your demos are always so informative and inspiring! Looking forward to discovering many more.🤗♥️
Thank you for sharing this project, I loved this effect when I first saw your tutorial on "Create & Craft"... Unfortunately I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour about 13 years ago so I had to give up work and so did my husband so he could be my carer, but the point I'm trying to get to is because of this happening I threw myself back into my crafting and I loved every second, after a few years my condition changed and I couldn't do much at all and that included my crafting and I was like this for about 5 yrs but last year I had my medication reviewed and altered and a physio regime and its been life changing for me and my love for my crafting came straight back, I'm also teaching myself to do acrylic nails...🤗... My husband is turning our old bedroom into a art/craft/nail space for me and I'm sooo excited to get back into everything, and I'm going to put my big girls pants on and start my own TH-cam channel to follow me on my journey of crafting and learning to do acrylics, I have a few of your stamps and embossing folders but my absolute favourites are the "Bah Humbug" Christmas collection, I had the whole set, the embossing folder of the alley way through the old buildings was the one I used the most, it always reminded me of the magik you'd feel at Christmas time, and watching scrooge the musical snuggled up on the sofa... I need to rebuy them because they were in a box with magazines on top and my son put the whole box in the recycling by accident a few yrs ago! I was sooo upset... ...😢😫😭... anything but that set!... But their definitely on my wish list... I'm sooo happy that your posting videos especially as we're all quarantined due to the zombie apocalypse... ...🧟♀️😱🧟♀️... I hope you and your family are all well and being super careful... I think I've waffled on enough, ...🤭🙄🤭... Stay safe my lovely and keep crafting... 💫😷🧟♀️🖌🧟♀️😷💫
Would you believe I have only just found your comment Bub's? You have really been through it lovely but are clearly a fighter. I'm so heartened to read that crafting helps; I think it helps most of us emotionally TBH as we drift in to our 'happy place' and get creative. I hope you are still keeping well? Have you considered joining my Facebook Group called 'Sheena's Inkettes'? its full of great inspiration and over 7,000 friends to chat with and ask for advice. Best of all it's where I hang out with my Design Team answering questions where necessary and enjoying everyones crafting. Its also the best chance of me seeing your posts and responding quicker as there just isn't enough hours in a day for me to get to every post on all my platforms. Keep crafting and please let me know what your channel is. Id love to follow you - you can reach me on messenger fairly easily if you join the Sheena's-Inkettes Group xxx Much love Sheena xxx

I'm just finding your videos on the faux leather and I am GOING to try this out this week. I'm excited! thank you for your explanations as well as showing what you are doing.
Sheena could you tell me where you got your glycerine from ? Please I've searched every shop that I think sells it .. looking for it.. xx great demo Karen ..
Amazon is the most reliable place to get vegetable glycerin. Drug stores often sell it in the U.S. I saw some by the pharmacy at Wal-Mart a few times, but you're right, it can be hard to find.
Same principle. I've done it with two sheets of A4 craft card before. The draw back for mine was that my iPad gets a lot of wear and use. This technique is made to look fantastic but its perhaps not so durable for long term use on something like an iPad; its just card after all. More suited to journals etc I think. love, Sheena xxxx
You talk very fast, and I hear very slowly so I miss a lot of what you say BUT I love this video. Thank you ever so much. I think I'll watch it over and over until I actually get everything. ❤❤❤

Do you peel off the inked part of the cereal box or leave it as is?
leave as is
how to finish inside?
I think a nice finish would be adding some fabric as an inside cover x
