  • This is the 9th video in the 'Mixed Media 10 Minute Techniques' Series.
    In this tutorial I am sharing an amazing new technique that I discovered by accident, which gives you the look of flaking metal or leather!
    This video is a little longer than the others in this playlist, so I could fully share with you the varying methods and mediums that could be used.
    Find the series introduction video here to learn about the Mixed Media 10 Minute Techniques, and how it will take you from a beginner to a Mixed Media MASTER!

    I would love to see one of those sprayed with some distress sprays or something. Such a cool technique. Thanks for all of the great ideas!

    I used to do acrylic pours and would make “skins” like this of leftover paints for collaging. This is a similar idea just with clear acrylic/polymer and EP.

    This reminds me of the glue blobs we made on scrap paper in our desks in elementary school ❤

    Can you stamp or glue on top. PS thanks for doing this series. I am really enjoying playing along!

      @LouCollins  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@franpurvis3301 you could glue on top and stamp with StazOn but it would not be a solid, clear impression x

    Really interesting technique. I wonder how it would look with a black or brown ink pad brushed across it?

      @@kimwakeman2630 just playing really. I was hoping for some sort of crackle but I’d never thought about stretching the glue afterwards!
