The kishi v2 looks like it was made in partnership with backbone hopefully they last longer than a few months especially given the price (still don't understand why these little mobile controllers cost more than a tech feature packed ps5 , joycon or Xbox controller)

If you use a case, the Gamesir is not going to fit you. For the Kishi, you can remove the rubber supports to fit the case. I have the S20 fe 5g with a case.
Gamesir sucks...i tried using for stadia...and after a short while the usb c port on the gamesir would disconnect...and cause massive issues... something like holding a in red dead wouldn't work...the buttons stuck...and id have to constantly undock and redock my phone in it
Just ordered the gamesir x2 for 40 bucks. My first phone controller. Hope I like it. Kishi v1 was same price but went for this one based off an ETA Prime video. Great video guys thanks
Just got the Kishi V2 purely based on availability. Tons at most retail stores. Got it at Walmart. It's been pretty impressive playing the cloud Xbox gaming with a controller plugged in as opposed to using a Bluetooth controller. Night and day difference. Plus passthrough charging does still do RAPID CHARGING!! I was surprised honestly. I'd be very curious if the new Backbone Android version and Gamesir one can do rapid charging. Super curious. Btw, I'm using a Pixel 7 pro. Was playing Metal Gear Snake eater with the PS2 emulator, worked like a charm- with vulken enabled and 2x native resolution enabled. But now I think I'll mainly use it for cloud gaming. And I can't believe I'm actually saying that. I'm done rambling

Problem with the backbone is that unless you’re an early adopter there is a $50/year in-app subscription to use the backbone app and even to have it work on your other devices like iPad and Mac. Kishi v2 is the same but doesn’t require a subscription. …needing a subscription for a controller…
I've had brought two razer kishi and the durability on it is a problem but I will say it's a good controller other than that I switch over to a mg-x controller and it thr best controller I've uses so far

Nice vid boys, aren't the a,b, x,y buttons flipped on the gamesir wired model like the switch? That's a big no no for me, the Bluetooth model the buttons are same as the xbox style, just thought I'd throw it out there.
I’d like to be entered into the contest. I bought the Razer Kishi a few months back, and while I have had fun using it I noticed that there’s a little bit of flex or wiggle and both ends where it comes into contact with my iPhone 12Pro and occasionally looses connection. I have to unplug it and re-plug it back in during gameplay. I’m really looking forward to getting a Backbone some day. Never tried the Gamesir but it looks pretty cool too.

@@gcforreal I had the same exact issue. It worked great for maybe 4 or 5 months of use and all of sudden left side stopped working. Waste of money. I'm going with gamesir this time around.
Thanks you! This was our first big comparison and there have been some new controllers come out since. We reviewed the Gamevice Flex last year and really like it. It’s also made to work with cases and has inserts to help. But they are hard to get now. Sadly they are almost always out of stock. I kind of wonder Inc the company went out of business and just kept the site up but aren’t making more stock.

I have a Kishi and have always thought the Backbone might be better, but just haven’t gotten around to getting one. I would love to be able to win one from you guys
Found out that kishi v2 don't pass music with it's usb C output so there's no choice other than using Bluetooth with hectic latency. Any android controller without a 3.5mm earphone hole doesn't make sense because even if your device has a 3.5mm jack you won't be able to use that when you pack your device into the controller. So make your choice with accordingly.
I can't use the kishi since I have a Galaxy Zfold , so I went with the gamesirx2 because it fits and the only controller that can ran switch games on eggns .

The razer kishi was nice on my pixel6 but the gamesirx2 can fit all devics.. I had a hard time using the s22ultra on the kishi and had to remove the foam to fit it .

Yeah that would be nice! It would be awesome to have mix of each controller! So far the closest we’ve found to that is the Moga XP7-X Plus. It is Bluetooth and not direct connection though, but in our testing it didn’t seem to add any noticeable lag we could find. Adam has an android phone and loves the Moga (I do as well but can’t use it) it’s nice having both phonebrands between us though because it allows us to try more devices for the channel. Hey, the video is good but it would be a lot of better if it didn't feel you were each fighting for screen time. You were constantly interrupting each other and not in a scripted, fun way.
Have all 3 backbone works probably the best and has the best triggers *But* that god awful click on A,B,X,Y is terrible sitting on lunch break the kishi works so people don’t hear that god awful click there is a work around taking it apart and get rid of the metal backing to stop the click using a Nintendo gameboy advance soft pad
Can we get a phone size comparison because no one mention this I have a 6.82 size phone and the gamesir barley fit my phone without a case. Now I'm looking to get the backbone one but. Afraid it won't fit either. I love the gamesir thou
I’m actually very surprised they haven’t made an android version of backbone yet! Their website actually claims they have had a lot of requests and taking into consideration when you look on the FAQ page so hopefully they do!

That's a good birthday gift and we're excited for you to receive it! I think it really comes down to the user and which phone they are using. If you have a phone that has a USB C then the USB model is a good option and the one we have but, the Bluetooth one gives more flexibility because it doesn't matter where the USB port is and it doesn't have to be a phone that uses USB C

That's a tough one. The Gamevice Flex would be a good option. It has nice sticks and there is little to complain about. The Naxon MG-X pro is also an amazing controller that will be available for ios in February but it is Bluetooth instead of plug connection so that's something to consider. We do recommend giving the Gamevice Flex a look.
Gamesire is the best. I had to go through two razer kishi they break east too many moving parts and from collapsed them multiple times, parts in the inside start to break. And start to rattle. My second kishi still works but it’s useless because the right trigger and buttons are sticking that sponge feeling gets sticky
As far as we know it does still work but it's missing some features through the app. We have discussed doing a video on this showing the differences now with or without the subscription. Thank you for your comment and for watching.

Gamesirs quality is garbage...i just ordered the kishi...the gamesir connector port is terrible...constant disconnect...and its not my phone...the triggers are terrible the sticks make shooting games very difficult...the buttons stuck after 4 months with light gameplay...id use the gamesir for emulators because of the button mappimg but for true gaming on stadia/GeForce/Xcloud go with the kishi..otherwise ur controller will fall apart

@@CompleteGeekTV to be fair i didnt expect much of the gamesir...as someone who designs technology for a company i can tell when something is poorly constructed ..the moving type c port was a giveaway to a short lifespan...the connections on usb c ports dont support constant flexing and movement...thats why chargers have a box housing the connectors so that where the contact points meet the charger head there is zero flexibility...if u bend a wire back and forth enough it will break...it was a poor design choice opposed to the kishi

For the backbone.. does the PS4 have to be on in order for me to play? The reason I wanted to get this was because my PS4 doesn’t work no more and I didn’t want to get a new one.
Yes it does. Sadly PlayStation does not support Cloud play yet like Xbox does. Meaning it just plays your games off the cloud instead of your device. The way PlayStation remote play works is by playing the game on your primary PS4 (or PS5) system and then streaming the video feed to your phone while sending the controller inputs back to the console. Hopefully one day PS will add actually cloud gaming because I’ve been using it a lot for Xbox Game Pass and it’s pretty awesome being able to play any of my games anywhere!
I think a lot of people would enjoy something like that. We’ve been testing the steam deck for the past few weeks and just saying how someone should come up with more of a” “Tablet” style console. Almost line a thick iPad with really good specs but you have to Bluetooth or attach your own controller so it can be 100% screen.
Very sorry to hear that. We did just get the Gamevice Flex and we are enjoying it so far. Feels like an upgrade to the original Kishi in many ways. We only mention it as another option if you haven't seen it.

Backbones stop working and begin to glitch out after 2 months. I bought 2 of them both happened and the buttons stop working immediately after

Really wish the Gamesir had an option for an analog trigger. Otherwise it seems ideal, but no analog triggers is a no-go for racing games.

Hey, the video is good but it would be a lot of better if it didn't feel you were each fighting for screen time. You were constantly interrupting each other and not in a scripted, fun way.
Backbone type c I heard is coming in november but, by then Backbone V2 will probably be out.

Have all 3 backbone works probably the best and has the best triggers *But* that god awful click on A,B,X,Y is terrible sitting on lunch break the kishi works so people don’t hear that god awful click there is a work around taking it apart and get rid of the metal backing to stop the click using a Nintendo gameboy advance soft pad
Can we get a phone size comparison because no one mention this I have a 6.82 size phone and the gamesir barley fit my phone without a case. Now I'm looking to get the backbone one but. Afraid it won't fit either. I love the gamesir thou
The backbone does look the coolest, and sound the best, unfortunately I don't have an iPhone. Im one of those peasants. The Gamesir seems legit tho!
I’m actually very surprised they haven’t made an android version of backbone yet! Their website actually claims they have had a lot of requests and taking into consideration when you look on the FAQ page so hopefully they do!

That's a good birthday gift and we're excited for you to receive it! I think it really comes down to the user and which phone they are using. If you have a phone that has a USB C then the USB model is a good option and the one we have but, the Bluetooth one gives more flexibility because it doesn't matter where the USB port is and it doesn't have to be a phone that uses USB C

What one is the best for play FPS games on iPhone
That's a tough one. The Gamevice Flex would be a good option. It has nice sticks and there is little to complain about. The Naxon MG-X pro is also an amazing controller that will be available for ios in February but it is Bluetooth instead of plug connection so that's something to consider. We do recommend giving the Gamevice Flex a look.
Gamesire is the best. I had to go through two razer kishi they break east too many moving parts and from collapsed them multiple times, parts in the inside start to break. And start to rattle. My second kishi still works but it’s useless because the right trigger and buttons are sticking that sponge feeling gets sticky

Gamesirs quality is garbage...i just ordered the kishi...the gamesir connector port is terrible...constant disconnect...and its not my phone...the triggers are terrible the sticks make shooting games very difficult...the buttons stuck after 4 months with light gameplay...id use the gamesir for emulators because of the button mappimg but for true gaming on stadia/GeForce/Xcloud go with the kishi..otherwise ur controller will fall apart

@@CompleteGeekTV to be fair i didnt expect much of the gamesir...as someone who designs technology for a company i can tell when something is poorly constructed ..the moving type c port was a giveaway to a short lifespan...the connections on usb c ports dont support constant flexing and movement...thats why chargers have a box housing the connectors so that where the contact points meet the charger head there is zero flexibility...if u bend a wire back and forth enough it will break...it was a poor design choice opposed to the kishi
@@CompleteGeekTV plus i have a note 20 so my enormous phone didnt help either...if u have a smaller phone it will probably last longer but dont expect it to last a year 💯🤷🏻

For the backbone.. does the PS4 have to be on in order for me to play?

Yes it does. Sadly PlayStation does not support Cloud play yet like Xbox does. Meaning it just plays your games off the cloud instead of your device. The way PlayStation remote play works is by playing the game on your primary PS4 (or PS5) system and then streaming the video feed to your phone while sending the controller inputs back to the console. Hopefully one day PS will add actually cloud gaming because I’ve been using it a lot for Xbox Game Pass and it’s pretty awesome being able to play any of my games anywhere!
They need to bring one out for the new iPad Mini 6!
I think a lot of people would enjoy something like that. We’ve been testing the steam deck for the past few weeks and just saying how someone should come up with more of a” “Tablet” style console. Almost line a thick iPad with really good specs but you have to Bluetooth or attach your own controller so it can be 100% screen.

Backbone is trash, buttons become unresponsive after a little while. I’ve gone through one a year so going to try the Razer and see how long that last
Very sorry to hear that. We did just get the Gamevice Flex and we are enjoying it so far. Feels like an upgrade to the original Kishi in many ways. We only mention it as another option if you haven't seen it.
