  • In this video we spend one full day exploring Salt Lake City Utah
We started the day visiting the Great Salt Lake State Park. Located just off of I-80 West of the airport. There is a marina there and they offer boat tours, with a few camping spots, I wouldn't recommend this area for swimming. Next we head to downtown Salt Lake City, Utah to check out Temple Square to find that most buildings with the Temple Square to include the main Mormon Temple as well as the John Smith Memorial structure to be under construction.
We then wandered over to City Creek for lunch. This is a gorgeous outdoor mall with a retractable roof and it's so clean and beautifully landscaped!
Next up we enjoy the Utah State Capital! This building is absolutely beautiful! You must visit and go inside to the 2nd floor and take a close look at the artwork and architecture of the dome. Just stunning!

Those are some nice drone shots. I wanted to stop here but we were in a hurry to Las Vegas. Only if youtube a smell-o-vision for that lake. You’re right those buildings are massive. That grocery store was legit. Set up much different. Melissa says hello. The Capital was so pretty. What a fun trip.

Hi Melissa!! :-) Thanks for checking it out. We flew here as the starting point for our next big road trip, I wish we had a little more time, there were a few more things I wanted to check out.

This video especially, is a gem for me. I've driven by these places, because of agoraphobia, never a walking tour. Great content! The capital is gorgeous.

    Great video!
Thank you for showing us around the city.
I'm hoping you got to visit Park City and you share that with everyone. Known more for skiing (best champagne powder in the world) it still a delightful place to visit.
