Thanks to last week's episode having inspired me to dust it off, I've been enjoying playing the copy of Chibi-Robo that I've had for around 14 years but never got around to playing. If you're wondering why I got it in the first place just to not play it, my brother gave me his Gamecube and several games including Chibi-Robo when he got a Wii and I think I thought that I had actually played it because I conflated Chibi-Robo with Super Magnetic Neo on Dreamcast. About Driver: San Francisco, I suspect the reason Ubisoft hasn't brought it back for Steam or console digital stores is that all of the cars were licensed and re-licensing the cars might be more costly than it's worth for bringing the game back. I'm glad I have my physical XBox 360 copy that I bought when it was new.
Vhs tip I've learned recently- keep an eye out for weird 80s horror films. Pieces, The Howling, Silent Night Deadly Night, etc. And odd balls like Kiss Meets The Phantom At The Park.
You were right...I was yelling at my screen about Curse Eye of Isis. Glad you picked it up. Recently found a complete copy on Facebook Marketplace in a pickup.
The reason Driver San Francisco is going up in value is because it's the last game in the series and was pulled from all digital store fronts. The only way to play it is if you have a physical disk. This goes for the PC port as well. Glad I got my complete copy from GameStop for $17 a couple years ago.

One of my favorite goodwills for game hunting raised all their game prices to $10. So sure enough, I find stacks and stacks of games there because no one is buying them at that price.
My goodwill would have sold this box of cards for $150 and that would be after they pulled out some singles and put them in the case for $60 each. They are crazy greedy with everything there and it's all free and donated to them. Used xbox 360 last week for $150, a mario cd/game zip up case for $50. Everything is usually dirty too, at least wipe it down for asking top dollar

Of course the full arts you pulled were worth something but I did see a 1st edition pineco and at 21:18 there was a skyridge trainer (bottom right had the mountain logo). That card probably doesn’t have huge value but it’s the last set printed by wizards of the coast. The dialga platinum reverse is worth like $14 too

I once bought 45 alternative CDs in a binder at the Conway goodwill for $6.50. I live near Mountain Home now and these Goodwill's are garbage compared to those. I've heard that the employees google and buy/resale a lot. Sounds like conspiracy but.. I wouldn't be surprised. I know there are WalMart employees around here flipping heavily discounted items. It's common knowledge.

Here's a little tip for you if you are hunting or get a box of Pokémon cards keep an eye out for rainbow rares some of them can be worth upwards of USD$50+, always keep your eyes open for them because the prices will go up for rainbow rares
most if not all Yugioh cards will say 1996. But a few gems. Pokemons are cool too. Also super jealous... I dream of finding Pokemon/Yugioh cards at the thrift store.

Go to more rural area pawn shops ,like ,wherever the country people on the football team that you played were ,go to that town check the game exchanges too even GameStop I find 99 cent games all the time that are 10 to 20 dollars online selling on sites that aren't eBay or Amazon. That's funny what you'll find out in the country 20 mi away you won't find anywhere in your town
The scores are at the flea markets. I bought a large bag of vintage gi joe clothes and accessories for $5. I’m buying games at .50-$1. I recently also bought Pokémon saphire, ruby and FireRed for $20. This same guy is bringing me ps1 games for $10 every week. Screw goodwill. EDIT: how can I forget this weekends finds, two CIB Gameboy games and one still factory sealed for $10 each.
I would keep those odd horror games, especially the ones that you can only find on certain system. one thing about horror collectors they tend to spend a lot of money on the games and what I see horror games values will go up and always will retain a certain value point.

When my son was in third grade a couple years back his teacher got upset at him and throw away a deck of cards that was pretty valuable. My wife just told him to suck it up he shouldn't have taken it to school in the first place

Prices went up at my local Goodwill too. Used to be $2-$4 for games. Today they were all $5, with some $2 GBC games in the case for $8. :( Luckily the store one town over is still with the old prices and I have a Outlet close by that sells games for $1.

I hate that goodwill gets things for free and steadily mark up prices on top of the fact that here in California none of the stores are keeping any video games in store anymore, they send it all to the online store. SMH

For the Pokemon cards... You need too look at the bottom right for the star the star symbol are rare cards and although they might not be super expensive they can still hold some value. Also the symbol next to that is the symbol of which booster pack they came from. Base sett and base sett 2 didn't have a symbol there besides the rarity symbol
Me and my friend at work play and collect yu gi oh they are worth money however if you find a card and it says 96 it’s the copyright date it has to say 1st edition and then their a letter and number combo you’ll look up on TCG via yu gi oh section it shows you what market value is. I’m definitely intrigued and want the yu gi oh cards tho for my collection. Btw the Pokémon cards definitely be careful with them and dents or the slightest mark in the card will chunk damage significantly pulled a 50$ card once and because the tip of the card was bent just a bit my friend said the value would go from 50$ to roughy 35
It’s really annoying that they’re charging that much for the games. My local goodwill is doing the same. Funny thing is they only see value in certain things because I find other stuff quite a bit.
I have to admit I screamed at my TV when you passed on the generic case elder scrolls Morrowind that was the game of the Year edition which is way better than the original and has the DLC that was released on the PC you should have got that one

Much like Pokémon cards, the money in Yugioh cards are in the holo foils. All of the cards have the original Japanese trademark of 1996 though so you can’t go by that for its age.

The dates on the yugioh cards are the copyright dates for the artwork. The cards you have are the reprints from a few years back.

If your gonna deal with cards from time to time you should buy a sorting tray. They are very helpful for sorting all types of things.

I have to admit I screamed at my TV when you passed on the generic case elder scrolls Morrowind that was the game of the Year edition which is way better than the original and has the DLC that was released on the PC you should have got that one

Much like Pokémon cards, the money in Yugioh cards are in the holo foils. All of the cards have the original Japanese trademark of 1996 though so you can’t go by that for its age.
