Whew... I’ve already started saving for this building, but those orichalchum are going to be killer, I can’t even get down past B30 in the 3rd area dungeon/mine. Hopefully I can get to lvl 9 mining soon and gain access to that bigger mining area.
to reach lower floor... need to stockpile some food first before... also goes there at the morning (after finish tending animal and crops and makers)... at least at 10am... make sure to bring some soup category food to make your heart golden (save more stamina usage)... and at least have golden hammer (minimum)... when you found a hole (not a stair)... make sure your heart golden and JUMP down to skip few floor... you can then eat entree(main course) food that increase lots of heart but make you full... make sure your heart already golden before eating it to save stamina... even not finding much orichalcum going down... you will find raw ruby and raw emerald which you could process with jewelry maker and give you nice amount of money (about 20k - 30k perday with lots of jewelry maker)... also if i remember correctly... you also gain 5 orichalcum ore from first time reaching floor 50 achievement in town hall. hope this help...
A big tip for mining orchi ore... cook 7 to 10 star entree and same desert at least 2 of each. Take animals out in sunny morning and go to the cave. Use all 🕳 holes to drop until floor 41. Eat your 7up 🌟entree when you have 5 ♥️ or less. You desert only for back up. You should be able to eat another entre around 12pm to 1pm. I got all my orchi ore in 2 weeks and half im game and i didnt even had to go every day.
:thinking: So the hydroculture building takes 8x8 slots to place on the farm, and it has a 9x9 grid inside where you can plant 81 plants regardless of season . . . vs normally in that 8x8 area, you would be able to plant like 60ish crops (bc sprinklers) and they're seasonally dependent. That's pretty good! I imagine it'd be super useful in order to have a bunch of different-season crops in one place that are used for daily cooking gifts. Vs having to go to the different seasonal gardens to get some tomato, and then onion, and then broccoli, etc.
I just got gold strawberries from my handgrown 10 star seeds, finding out the probability was like OH COOL :D also yay greenhouse! Thanks so much for the info and tips, I'm hoarding my orichalcum and almost used them on my small ingot makers before i watched XD

Hi Josh! Thank you for all your videos, I always watch them for tips and tricks to help me play my game easier. 😄 I found out a little trick to get Orichalchum stones in Stonebreaker Valley. It takes time though but if you're not in any hurry to finish the game I think it will be useful. What I did is every time I visited the valley I only hit all other rocks EXCEPT the orichalcum. what happens is for my next visits, the old orichalchum stones stays and does not disappear and new ones appear around the area. So I'm waiting to fill the valley with Orichalcum stones and hit them all at the same time to get a huge bulk of it. Hope this helps! 😄
And btw I really love how pretty your farm has became. It gives me hope for mine lol it looks like garbage right now but I'm not even out of my first spring yet.

Actually Look at the size of the building... it is about 6x6 and has a 9x9 crop field... By that result you could increase the number of growing squares if you could buy multiple "Greenhouses"
I haven't done any testing to speak of, but if the clearing where the hydroculture plant is left 'wild,' you leave more space for Mirage Grass and Mirage Trees to grow. It may not matter in the long run, especially with the special locations where one can get those resources, but leaving that area untouched (after moving the hydroculture plant, of course) just might make a difference in accumulating those resources.

If you till a spot you don’t want to you can smash it with a hammer to get rid of it. Same with the horseshoe shaped ponds once they’re emptied and tree sprouts you can’t cut with an axe.

I have no idea how to organize my areas, I don’t know what would be the most efficient. I’ve already made the mistake of putting my farming area on the first part & not saving room for many regular trees to grow 😅
Regular trees also grow in second area near the the bridge to first area but it's super cheap for the lumber and logs my farm is there but I make alot so I buy when I really need them
This building cost a lots of things but in the end I find it quite useless, I guess I will build it as my last task in the game once I'm done with everything else haha

You can buy olive crystals from the sprite sitting by the large tree (can't remember it's name). You earn sprite coins and then you can purchase them once you unlock the travel sprite. And you can start earning sprite coins once you unlock the sky and lava sprite's. To me it's the easiest way to get the olive crystals you need.
Josh would you consider making a mining guide video? I don't have all of the hearts yet so I know i need to work on getting all those. But what kind of food do we need to take to be able to get down 50 levels to find that orichalcum?
I would consider it, yes! Since you don't have a lot of hearts, I'd recommend making some salads (they give you extra hearts), 2-3 grilled fish (might be called slightly differently in English but fish is the only ingredient) and whatever dessert you're able to make. Your character won't be able to eat anything but dessert for 3-6 hours (not sure how long exactly) after the grilled fish, so eat salad → fish → dessert in that order. Also avoid the electric moles as much as you can. 😅 Also make sure you cook these the day before, as cooking takes time, and sleep before 10pm so you wake up at 6 and can go mining asap.

Well...LonLon is on the go to get started for this..it'll take awhile but I'm already in for a LOOONG wait as is IRL for the DLC updates to see what new spouses are available before I get hitched and the last one of those isn't till August..so..yeah..I'll be pretty busy doing everything else like trying to get this saved up for so that'll kill time for sure.
Any tips for getting to bottom of the 3rd mine? Do you make food to take and, if so, what? The moles get vicious in the bottom levels and I run out of health. I currently have 16 hearts and am finishing up 1st summer, so I am not doing too badly, I don't think.
I succeeded with soup, salad and desserts, anything else and you're gonna get full quick which is awful the further down you go because damage racks up fast Another thing is to just take your time, aka go on a rainy day or so and make sure your animals have food That way you have the whole day to get through it, though it's only worth going to the bottom once or twice Good luck!
I waited until my third year to bother with this. It's very convenient now because the requests found at the Mayor's office now cover many different seasons...(5 gold strawberries, 5 mosaic corn, 5 jewel melons, etc...) But I have finished everything else so it used up the orichalcum ore. (I see no point in having a child. Yet.)

Because in Story of Seasons Trio of Towns, once you've unlocked the basement you had to buy this little suns (don't know how to call it in English) for to make sure you'll have the right light for growing your crobs. I know in Pioneers of Olive Town you've the possibility to grow certain grobs during the whole year except of winter. But I'm just wondering, if it will work with crobs which are only growing in in Spring, Summer or Autumn as well
You can plant crops for any season! In mine, I have crops from all seasons growing at the same time. Also, there are winter crops as well in this game, not just spring-summer-autumn.

I totally forgot to check inside to make sure they disappeared, but I tested it again now and yes they really do disappear, they're lost forever once you pickup the building!
Same here. I thought I had put my barn & coop in a good area (area 2 right below the bridge & above the beach with one half the river). And now I have a tree in inbetween my fence & beach so I can exit on bike. But I gotta keep cutting it down & not able to place a path to spot it from growing. My farm is such a mess. 😪
at least we could plant more leeks there... so with the winter field + hydroplant field... we can gain lots of money every 4 days... add some mushroom factory and honey factory and we can just buy all the orichalcum ore in the store later 🤣🤣🤣
Stupid question but where do the wild leeks spawn in the third farm area? Do I have to be at a certain level for them to appear? I'm winter 5 and can't see any...any help is much appreciated x.x
They are quite rare (and small)! I think I was in the middle of the month when I saw my first one. I found mine mostly on the left part of the third area, but I think they could be anywhere in the area.

no, the animals just wander around and you need to re-assign them to the coop/barn by either petting them or going to your notebook in your house and organising them.

Bro I'm a fool. I WENT AND MADE 50 PUMPS THINKING IT WAS 50 I NEEDED. At least I could use the leftover for all the big deep ponds but bruh. Its a good thing I was waiting on the orechalcum bars anyway but wasted so much clay. I need 1000s of clay to make big seedling makers. 500 a pop bro. This plant is so fucking small. Youre better off planting in the sprite meadows with sprinklers...... 😑 what a waste But I think I'll plant trees in the seasonal areas now instead. Working on getting the level 10 tree seeds ! ... fun
I want to ask something, can you buy a TV? And I've reached the 'ending' I hope there's more that happens in the town. Some of the parts of the game are cool, but many parts like festivals seem a step back.
There's no TV in this game as far as I know. I too wish there was a bit more festivals and things happening in town. Hopefully future updates and expansion pass will rectify that.
This facility is not worth it. Since you can get all area map for 100 point from the shrine. Wish i already have 2 of them and every building upgraded now im just making everyone in town to love me. Oh o still have to last upgrade my house but meh thats the least of my worries.

My farm looked like garbage for at least the whole first year. I just started being able to focus on decorating and making things a bit prettier!

@@violet_cozylife shops only sell the seeds that grow in that season. You won't see winter crops until winter.

I'm not sure I'm going to get the greenhouse until much later, it doesn't seem worth it for the time being.
Luckily making the orichalcum ingots is easier thanks to the new update letting us making 30 ingots using 100 ore via the giant maker!

Stupid question but where do the wild leeks spawn in the third farm area? Do I have to be at a certain level for them to appear? I'm winter 5 and can't see any...any help is much appreciated x.x
They are quite rare (and small)! I think I was in the middle of the month when I saw my first one. I found mine mostly on the left part of the third area, but I think they could be anywhere in the area.

@@drizztdourden8111 yep in that case I'd recommend broccoli! You can also buy broccoli seeds in preparation for spring, they're only available in store during winter but they grow in both seasons.
I have a question about moving buildings. If I move a coop or barn that has animals in it, will I lose the animals?
no, the animals just wander around and you need to re-assign them to the coop/barn by either petting them or going to your notebook in your house and organising them.

I want to ask something, can you buy a TV? And I've reached the 'ending' I hope there's more that happens in the town. Some of the parts of the game are cool, but many parts like festivals seem a step back.
There's no TV in this game as far as I know. I too wish there was a bit more festivals and things happening in town. Hopefully future updates and expansion pass will rectify that.

This facility is not worth it. Since you can get all area map for 100 point from the shrine. Wish i already have 2 of them and every building upgraded now im just making everyone in town to love me. Oh o still have to last upgrade my house but meh thats the least of my worries.
Is not worth it at all. I was planning to use it for fruits trees only but does not work so is a no go for me until I have spare ingots that I don’t need.
