I was going to comment on yet another Mazda with no footwell lights, but I appreciate your comment on how the main interior lights illuminate the footwells.

Great video. The car is very carefully designed and so thoroughly studied in every detail ... this is obvious. However, I believe in this 2024 version of the car... they could have included a couple of new led footwell lights... to illuminate the area down there... as every car maker has done these days... they have not put ambient lighting in a car of this level... probably they disagree with this trend... at least they could have added footwell lighting... so if you drop something down while being in the car ... you do not have to open the big cabin lights ... to be able to search for it... this is a drawback for me. Needless to say, I would like to had seen a discreet ambient lighting in the cabin too... to make a such a good looking car to look even nicer inside.

Yes it is Mazda's active Matrix and is included in Australian G25 Astina (Our range topper) as well as wireless charger now included and LED everywhere. We just bought one and it is very nice.@@SDADanCars
