If they could re issue Batman Year Two with that kind of cape or a bit more dinamic, with some nice shadings to make him pop out more, and accurate boots I would get it. The blue and grey batman has always been my favorite but I feel like MCfarlane hasn't yet made the one.
Great video, in my opinion the best Batman figure from Mcfarlane, the wave of figures from the three jokers saga was the best from Mcfarlane in a long time, all the figures were great.
Just got mine in as well. This is definitely the best McFarlane Batman to date imo. Although I am a little annoyed with his torso and its lack of proper ab crunch in both/either the diaphragm &/or waist joints. They just don't do what's needed to get a good crouching or bending over pose. I get more range out of my Flash & Superman initial releases lol. I'm also considering getting the Rebirth Batman just for the head sculpt. It's very classic and has the shape I'm looking for, especially since it seems super close to Jason Fabok's head sculpts from the DC Essentials line (which feels pretty damn appropriate lol). We'll see though. Not completely sold on the Rebirth Batman overall. Great review!
I thought the waste gave me all the ranged I needed, but the torso didn't do much. I saw someone take him apart and shave some of the torso out to increase it and it worked great, but I don't really want to do that... McFarlane is getting closer and closer to the perfect Batman. I love how we're starting to have numerous choice of a good standard Batman.
Just got done painting my trunks black. Makes a big difference. I also cut the bat hook off and removed the rope. I glued the hook to the gun itself. Looks great now IMO
I finally got my 3J Batman figs from Amazon. Your review pretty much covers it all. An awesome figure and it will probably be most people's new default classic/modern Batman. I'm debating on painting the trunks black. (I probably will). My only complaint about the one I opened is that his upper knee joints on both legs are looser than I would like them to be. The lower knee joints are fine, and all the knee joints on my Y2 Batman were all nice and tight as well. I'm hoping the loose knee thing isn't a problem that's common with all of the 3J Batman figs. Other than that, it's definitely the best Batman figure out there, IMO. At least until the Rebirth Batman comes out. We'll see.
@@dHuntersReviews That's good to know. They're not super loose, and they have ratcheting, they're just not has tight as they should be. I have a couple more, hopefully at least one of them will be better. I'll open another one later when I get a chance.
Great review as always man, I'm glad I waited for a Batman without the oval yellow piece in the chest though, I don't have much space available and I'll keep a spot for Batman Rebirth and some paint variations of that figure, still a solid release
FINALLY. All the Batman figures made & it took this long to make a “proper” Batman. McFarlane figs are kooky, the best Joker is the MK version & it too forever to make him after all the other silly ones. That Joker versus this Batman look great fighting it out. For $20 figs they’re good.
Really hoping for a proper Wonder Woman now because they've released Hal Jordan, Three Jokers Batman, and the upcoming Rebirth Batman, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter

You're not the most charismatic reviewer but I REALLY appreciate the comparisons at the end. I wound up cutting the grappling line off but left a small amount of line to attach the grappling hook to the end of the gun. I really like how it looks. I also painted his trunks black.

The grappling hook is glued on the end of the line, so I left about an eighth of an inch of the line from the gun and then used a razor to trim it into a cone shape and reamed the hole in the grappling hook a bit so it would fit easier, test fit it and then glued it to the line. As for the trunks, I recommend using Testors Model Master Acrylic and mixing two drops flat to one drop gloss black to match the look of McFarlane's black. I used a somewhat flat, wide brush to apply it and it went on smooth. BTW, despite my comment on your charisma, I do really appreciate how thorough this review was. That comparison section is SO USEFUL, and it always amazes me that other reviewers either compare the figure to useless items or not at all.

I got mine yesterday together with Batgirl. Love them both. A bit disappointed that my Batman came with a loose almost disjointed right bicep, so I had to heat it up and push it back in. Its all good now. 😅
Im not feeling the headsculpt personally what I think im gonna do is do a neck + head swap with a mezco log ears sovereign knight head, also put on a wired cape, and paint the trunks black. Then this will my definitive batman for my shelf.
I prefer this batman figure over the rebirth one because this one is more buff and has more personality to him, the face on the rebirth one look muddy and the whole body looks feminine lol. I order my batman 3 jokers last year in december and am still waiting

McFarlane is doing better than Mattel or DC Direct. Just wish we'd get more regular and/or classic figures. More Bat rogues/allies. They are really making some nice stuff. Power Suit Lex, Lobo, Swamp Thing, Three Jokers wave, Gotham Knights wave, upcoming Clayface, Rebirth Batman, etc. Really making stuff I want!
I got this guy finally a couple of weeks ago, and if I can track down another one, I think ill paint his trunks black, and paint the inside of his cape blue. Trying to make myself a "live action" version of the TAS Batman

Beast Kingodm is actually 8 inch. Omega's hands do not fit, Ben Affleck's wrist pegs are way too thick, even if you swapped the pegs, they would probably not stay in Affleck's forearm area.

The Detective comics 1000 Batman is AWFUL…head sculpt is an all time bad one….all the other Batman’s have been awesome though
