    Turn the farmland into pasture. Very simple. I live in Alberta, Canada. We subsidize irrigation and farming heavily. We Don hardly grow any food. We grow canola, sugar beets, corn, and potatoes for fries and chips. All garbage. That land could feed a lot of sheep and cattle. Real nutritious food.

    I've realised what a regenerative farming means when I visualised all animals grazing on meadows not sprayed by any pesticides or fungicides or fertilizers and those animals giving us condensed, high quality meat so we wouldn't have to eat those plants.

      th-cam.com/video/mKyIF1DiUOs/w-d-xo.html. The only thing you are guaranteed on a carnivore diet is a shortened life span of about 30 years.

    The political policies of farming made during and post of the two Wars need to be readjusted. Fear can not feed the people but deplete the land we live in.

    I’ve been carnivore for over twelve months and my blood work is better than perfect for a 70 year old. When you eat fat it is immediately used to fuel the body. In India they have a type 2 diabetes epidemic. Over 64 million diagnosed with it. One of the largest vegetarian eating nations on earth.

    Any connection with Ancel Keys' rather dubious hypothesis?

    Interesting, I made a video on this topic. Plant-based is just vegan/vegetarian rebranded. We're designed to consume animal products.

      I partially agree, Oreos and some candies are vegan. Calling it a plant based diet removes the more processed products (fyi- I am a meat eater, so I’m not here to argue a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle)

    • @twiggyfitness
      @twiggyfitness 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @angelat17 i believe those consuming mostly plant products, and yes, vegan/vegetarian doesn't equal healthy, are being misled. This results in them being unhealthy. I am convinced we need to help these people see the light and incorporate more animal products into their daily life. Not saying they need to go carnivore, but at least be overall healthier.

    Great communication of the research by Dr. Zoë Harcombe, but please use research to inform the narrative on CO2. It is clear that engineering solutions do exist to energy production and consumption problems. I am learning so much from the experts on health and nutrition. The human body is a wonderfully complex system and there is so much to learn. I think the world is many times more complex, where ecosystems of many organisms will require a more considered approach.

    Climate change has always existed on this planet and will continue with or without humans.
    We have only very minimal if any influence on that.
    And the negative solar energy argument is flawed and outdated. Please do your research into the storage solutions for just solar energy that exist now and are already in use.
    I agree with the content of the first two arguments though.

      Your not being honest. Look at the increase in travel and the increase in car pollution not to mention the increase in plastic which is shipped off to poorer countries which have their own industry problems. So the climate is being rubbished
      .Zoey says herself she goes to med 3 times per year and may travel else where. I would say the increase in carbon dumping is screwing up the planet.

      Climate change is real, but raising cattle on pastureland is carbon neutral or even carbon negative (look into regenerative agriculture). But commercial monocrop farming with chemical pesticides and chemical fertilizers is releasing tons more carbon, methane and ammonia, it's destroying our topsoil (we've only got 20 years' worth left), and lastly, although agriculture has a significant impact on climate change, 80% of climate change is due to the 100 biggest corporations and the US military. Start there if you really want to have an impact.

      Climate changes have always be there. There's still no proof that the fluctuations are caused by the human activities over the last 100 years. There's plenty of evidence that it's probably not.
