Sounds great.just got mine 4 days ago. Only 68 miles on the thing and I'm already looking at de-cat videos....only problem I have is with the mirrors. Great view of my arms.
Quite common for wheel to spin that much with the "arse" end in the air. My '18 mt10 does it, my '21 mt09 does it but to a lesser degree. Happy riding!
@@HepcatHarley I'm an ex-pat living in Knoxville, Tennessee (originally from Rugby) and we don't get the SP in the US market. Mind you, I probably wouldn't appreciate the suspension upgrades but the TFT dash would be nice! I've gone for the blue one. I've had it on order for over a year lol
It went extremely smoothly, not what I was expecting. You might struggle with the exhaust clamps but you could always break/cut them off as you don't need them anyway. Mind you, with that nice inflatable balloon you keep yours in during the winter I'm sure it'd be fine :)
Nice , and a fair bit of weight taken off I guess ? - if poss during layup , have the system polished , get some great colours after system gets hot . There are special slotted sockets for the O2 sensors if you plan on doing the job more than once .
Hey there great video. I need some advice.. I've bought a bike already had this done to it.but...I'm getting back fire when I release the throttle a bang here a lot of popping there. Do you know how I can tell if the previous owner ( bought it at a dealer ) had it dyno'd..its using a lot of fuel too. cheers
They are a thirsty bike anyway but if it's not running great chances are it's not been mapped. Usually the throttle response is smoothed out during a remap so any jerkyness during throttle down etc will be a telltale sign. If it's not running how you like it just get it booked in. Hope this helps.
I have a Scorpion Serket on my 2013 Yamaha FZ8 and I just love it, The build and Quality are second to none. It also never needs repacking to boot.

Lots of peeps fit bar end mirrors but tbh I find the OEM ones fine. Doing a decat will give lots of noise, not so good for touring long distances.
@@HepcatHarley I've got a BMW R1200RT for touring. Mt10 for having fun around town.
I installed a Scorpion exhaust and removed the cat on my FJ-09 (MT09 Tracer) a few years back. That cat adds the weight of a baby cow to a bike.
True :D
Nice can ! Looks lovely !

Lovely bike and a great sound now 🙂🏍🏍
Thanks yes it is my new baby :)
Made it look easy, I'm almost tempted. Wonder how easy my bolts will undo after 5 years and 26K?

@@HepcatHarley thanks for reply mate ill get ir booked in
When you removed the cat it didn't thro up any warning light on dash
No as long as you don't turn on the ignition 'til you've completely finished the job, should be fine :)
Did you remap Ecu after? Good sound!✌️😁
I haven't yet, it's not necessary but I may get it done anyway :)
sounds good unrestricted :-)
Baffle's still in, not sure I wanna take it out lol
@@HepcatHarley you know you want to... LOL

Great video, very useful as I've just ordered the same system for my '07

Not wanting to extinguish your firework. But out of interest. What happens when MOT time comes around?
It may get an advisory notice for excessive noise but no fail, that's if it was deemed excessive. I'll let you know in 4yrs :D
