Having previously watched and enjoyed Ronnie Dahl’s Simpson crossing recently shown on TH-cam (which also involved “haulage” of a Drifta trailer), it is now increasingly obvious from observing Drifta’s vehicle, trailer and camp setup and their culinary delights (as well as Luke’s expertise around recovery in crossing the Eyre Creek), that the DAHLings were neophytes. Chalk and cheese.

Lucky lucky people to be able to have Luke as a friend....nice trip & reminds me of our times at the family’s ranch in West Texas. It would be a blast to see you all take those rigs for a climb on some of the trails here & deal with what we call “The Hell Hole” here. Those 76’s seem to climb like mountain goats. Thanks for sharing .... safe travels & hope you get many more chances to enjoy the good trips together.

What a great series, loving them all and especially this one. You know your watching something great when a 45min youtube video feels like only 5min.

One of my favourite things..pork roast on spit whilst camping... we like to peel the crackling off as its ready for entrees..this gives that layer of fat below to cook & crisp a little.

    Hi Guys Great job!!
i have a 76 V8 , and what will your opinion be 33" and 35" for over landing? - no engine modifications done, only exhaust?
    thank you

Hey mate, depends what lift you have. 2 inch lift you’ll struggle to fit 35s without scraping the guards, so 33s will fit much easier on 2 inch. 33s are more available if you shred a tyre and don’t have enough spares, they won’t muck up your gearing as much and they are cheaper.

Kaito Sutton Hey Kaito, I’ve got to say, you and DRIFTA rock! Got my first order in with y’all (some canvas bags I don’t even have the gear for yet). Can’t wait for it to arrive way up here in Oregon, USA.
