i thought i heard everything there was to say about bojack when you suddenly tie together all the parts into a cohesive meta-narrative. thanks dude really opened my mind
Bojack incarnates at LEAST one of everyone's flaws. And you'll recognize the flaw you see the most in yourself in Bojack. And you'll think "wow... That horse is just like me." as you see him struggle with that flaw... Which is what you want to do aswell. Deal with the flaw. Or something... Im very tired here not sure if I'm making sense.
I really like how Bojack teaches the message that you are not obligated to spend time with family members if they're bad for you. Because you're not, and family ties should never be used as a weapon to hurt you. If it is, cut them off. You don't need that shit in your life.
I've watched a few videos covering different aspects of Bojack. This one brought something new to the table and damn so cool all the different feelings this show invokes. Subscribed and liked, keep up good work
Very good job bro, it's very hard to find a cohesive way to talk about all the nebulous topics that are discussed on this show. You did it effortlessly in a way I never good. I greatly appreciate your effort in doing this. Thank You.
And this video was so on-point! I relate to this show so much and you just reiterated everything I related to and enjoyed (so you validated me and that's why I liked it?). Whatever. The way you include scenes from shows (like in house of cards with power and end thing) and so many times with bojack, your videos have a distinct artistic sense to them. I know you must be putting in tons of effort for this. Keep doing it! You will be a huge youtuber for sure
A line from the recent TV series Catch 22 reminded me of Bojack and Mr Peanutbutter. 'You know the difference between me and you? Me: happy happy happy dead, you: worry worry worry dead'.
Thinking about Mara Wilson's character asking Bojack "and then what?" After watching Coco and Book of Life, I just think "and then your soul doesn't disappear and you can come back to the people who love you on día de los muertos."
Great analysis. Personally, the main staff still felt like a loosely connected community to me, albeit mostly in the odd way of their shared loneliness. Except Todd, which paradoxically appears to be on the opposite scale, which has no problems of genuinely connecting with anyone, and _getting problems_ because of that.
I just finished watching the first Season and was looking for some reviews. Although it starts off with some mild spoilers of Season 1 episodes, I wasn't expecting the Season 2 spoiler at around 3:38. A spoiler warning (or what seasons are being covered) at the beginning of the video would be nice; though I guess that's what you get for looking into reviews of a show that just finished its fourth season.
In season 5 they work together! BJ is playing Philbert, Mr. PB is playing Fritz, Princess Carolyn is directing the show, Diane is writing it anf Todd is an executive at whattimeisitrightnow.com !
My initial impression from a glance was that it was another show that jumped on the old tired animated show-train. It's gimmick: a world populated by humans mixed with animorphic people. I was so off. Best series I've seen In a long time. As good as BB or Sopranos? As Mr PB would opine, who can say?
Yes please do! There's so many people who think it's just a trashy show on impression and even I have trouble selling it with it's two white leads and how exaggerated their behavior can be.. but like it gets you so good later and it is definitely overlooked. Such a smart show.
I disagree that sitcoms are always about communities, most sitcoms are really about a group of people who've been shoved together against their will. In this case the characters have been shoved together through their (highly dysfunctional) relationships with Bojack
Having said that, I think it's more a tradition in British sitcoms for the cast to be a group of people who essentially hate each other but have really codependent relationships. American sitcoms tend to be more about groups of people who fundamentally like and care about each other
Bojack was so right with what he said about the troops and the reaction of the people mirror America perfectly
Yup but we can relate to this statement but Americans dont want to admit
i thought i heard everything there was to say about bojack when you suddenly tie together all the parts into a cohesive meta-narrative. thanks dude really opened my mind
Damn, why do I feel so connected to BoJack
WatchingBrian Because we can all relate
We're all a little bit shitty and selfish, we all want to be loved but we also want to be left alone. Humans be crazy, bra.

I absolutely love You're the Worst and will probably make a video about it around the time the new season ends

okay but have You read Berserk or watched the 1997 anime
Geez show some emotion next time.
It's his voice style and you shouldn't make him change it if he's comfortable with it.
Hey that's just my suggestion he doesn't have too just saying.
