Thanks for the video. I actually did the same setup yesterday and I'm just now seeing your video pop up as I was scrolling on TH-cam today. I got my Rane Performer from Guitar Center yesterday took apart my Pioneer S11 SE then I connected both of my Rane 12 Mk2s. I was able to motorized all Platters at the same time, scratch use instant doubles and I haven't noticed any problems. I'm using usb hid mode. I also played with the effects and had no problems. I did not use the Stem Split functions yet. When I get a chance to play with the controller again, I will leave a update if I run into any problems.
Yeah, as long as each motorized deck stays on it's assigned channel, everything works in HID mode. As soon as 2 motorized decks are assigned to the same channel, that's when things get weird.
I have a RANE Performer with RANE MKII. I like using the RANE MKII as a third deck in DVS mode (deck 3), so I don't have to hit the deck switch buttons on the Performer. And I have access to my Ques. It looks kind of cool with all three decks spinning. If I guest dj'ed and someone has turntables, CDJs, or a controller, I could dj, on their equipment with little or no practice.

Im hoping to find a way to have my existing turntables and phase remotes with the performer. it is possible but id like everything to me spinning and run smoothly. hopefully an update comes out to enable this but also ..yeah is it completely necessary? still I think im getting a Rane performer
Just to clarify something, in the video, I thought that previous versions of Serato allowed the Touchstrip "Strip Search" function on the TWELVES to be remapped to control Stems, this is not the case. You can still swap out the Hot Cue mode on the TWELVES with Stems though.
@@djclintkillzbeatz I think that should work, I’ve done the same thing with a DJ2Go2 Touch. Everything will just need to be plugged into a USB hub connected to the laptop.
somewhat off-topic, how about connecting a real turntable w/phasedj. does that work? the reason I ask... I am in the market for a new mixer, I use SL1210 and/or phasedj. I rather spend a bit more and get the motorised platters that come along with the mixer ;-)

@@jersey21212121 if you have the MKIIs, definitely use DVS instead of USB mode on them, works way better.
