Finally someone talks about items that’s matters. Question, I can’t seems to find one in store for demo, but does it feel cheap like the REV7? I’m not talking about the built quality. I’m talking about the way the platters feel when deejaying in comparison to turntables? Someone said this is the closest so far, and I really want to see.
The braking is part of it being a motorized platter. It’s similar to a regular turntable, where you can adjust the braking. Hard braking is nice for break to reverse slow down.
I know tt's don't do that has I own many. The reverse stop shouldn't be heard even when the braking is set to 0 in serato and in the hardware which was the case here.
do you notice the rane performer platters are way heavier than rev7..is hard to spin back and scratch freely..i tried it at a store and didnt like the platters..it felt so heavy
🔥🔥🔥🔥i owns Performer and Technics, Everything u Spoke on in 1ST beginning of Video, You are RIGHT!!!!, REV7 by Pioneer Not Even in Same.. LEAGUE😂, RANE Has Done Their HOMEWORK👏🏽👏🏽😮💨🤪, Salute RANE!!!! i got The RANE FOUR Also., THEY Added ALOT!!!!! even the FAN!!!!!😅, THE EQ’S upgrade…. The MENU Screen is NICE🤗🫵🏼, loves My PERFORMER!!!!!!!….
I’m having a problem with my Rane performer that just came in. Like everything is dope, but my right side pads are not working.. what am I missing…. Running a m2 Apple air.
@@mark213e you install the drivers from rane's website, install the latest serato and have tried a different usb cable? It could also be the usb-c adapter required for macbooks.
Can you activate split pad mode on the Performer like you can on Pioneer mixers? On my s7 I can press 2 modes at same time and it will split across 8 pads

Hey bro nice video, but quick question where can I buy those color knobs (caps) for my Rane performer?
Chroma cap, search for them on google

@@djsupafly1 next time you’re on a set of 1200’s take the slipmat off, look through the hole., towards the tonearm, you see a brake adjustment.
Do find that torque are too high even if it's set on low? I think are very heavy compared to the Rane One.
@@henrylandrum6149 you just need the right slipmat.
Imo, the Rane gain structure is preferred. As long as both channels mixed aren’t clipping, you can run the master all the ways to level 10.
Does the software allow for internal 4 track recording of the mix? For example: if i want to load each individual track into a DAW after ?
No firmware update can fix the stop issue. Well timed fader cut is our only way to deal with it I think. Good vid homie

@@WazzyTV you just need the right slip mats. It comes with various ones.
Can you use time code vinyl with your turntable or is it analog?
@@jussvicious the platters are digital. You can connect turntables to the Performer and control music that way.
@djsupafly1 Thank You!
Buddy please give me your opinion on the pads to the side and not in front of you?
What case are you using for the performer?
Do you know if the mic echo syncs to music bpm on the Rane??
Where did you got the custom knobs?
@@Villasanaa_ dj tech tools. Chroma caps
Great comparison video!
Thanks!
Where can I find those replacement knobs? Do you like them? Feel etc
@@hittahitta819 they are chromacaps and feel good. I like the visual aspect when djing in a dark setting.

Most likely a bad circuit board Take it back
Does Rane Performer have silent cue 🤔
dedicated button for it
Did you mess with the break settings
No I didn't. Serato brake settings are at 0.
This video is without serato hooked up and still get the problem.
how pay for RANE PERFORMER and rev7

That has been a feature forever lol you can even split the top pads and bottom pads
@@DJ.Kvn_ ok thanks. I discovered it late and didn’t know if it was a serato thing or a hardware thing
your the first on here to give bad feed back on this
