      Does changing the loading pics fix the hang on load glitch (where even on an ssd it'll take 5-10 minutes to load) or did you just get lucky, or do you not have to deal with it at all? No kidding in the last month I've got the hang on load glitch in Morrowind, NV, FO4, Skyrim and Starfield lol. I heard somewhere, tried, and found out you can actually insta load by alt-tabbing out and then back into the game, but its still pretty annoying lol.
      So if anyone is hanging on the load screen for longer than it normally takes, alt-tab out then back into the game and it'll load instantly

      @FlameRat_YehLon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@JK-gm6kk but the thing is, it'll likely still be faster than you manually walk to the destination. And like most space themed games load all the time anyway, they just hide it better with an animation but that actually wastes more time.
      Also if you really wish to play most of the games from the last 5 years on HDD, be sure to use one that has enough spare space and is defragmented properly.

    • @FlameRat_YehLon
      @FlameRat_YehLon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That means you didn't actually play the game yet. As long as you have some progress in the game 99% of the time you fast travel from land to land without going into the space and is actually way faster than most space themed games that forces you to launch into the space, jump to another system and land back to the planet whenever you fast travel.
      Also having to load into a room allows the room to have way, way more detail. Just look at how empty most of Cyberpunk 2077's interior is, and seamless interior feels really not worth it.

    I hadn't watched any starfield speedruns before but I'm surprised you didn't skip the train leaving the station animation, I found out how to do that accidentally while playing and thought for sure it would be used in speedruns. always fun to jump in front of the train so it loads immediately because I assume it can't move? I dunno saves some time when having to run to the gun store but it's not a significant time save for the run lol
    edit: lmao the emissary sequence break. I got Sam in my first playthrough, that quest was so confusing to me but I guess it really is you choosing who's gonna get killed in that universe. I interacted with Sam cause he was the closest. really excellent video, this was super fun to watch.

    I know you say it every video but this one really hit me.
    Just over a month ago it felt like my whole life ended. My finacé broke off our engagement and told me everything he hated about our relationship. I miscarried our baby, then I found out he had been cheating on me for well over a month before he left. I lost my home, my future husband, my child, and myself in the span of a week.

Today I was at the end of my rope ready to just fully give up. I used to watch your channel nearly every day but with everything that has happened I stopped. Quite literally you can avoid every major faction but one (the rangers), and only ever see the start of a handful of major side quests. The game is almost designed around not having the main quest and the side quests interact with each other. It kind of lets you just completely ignore the main quest if you want to without any problems. Very Oblivion like honestly.

      One last reply for anyone reading these:
      Once again...nothing about your personal life makes it ok to harass,insult and berate others into self harm. Especially when you have 0 insight into the life of the person you are speaking to. Since you didn't address that bit.
      I have seen no one here "berating people for choosing death" as you said. It feels like you have a problem with other people over this topic in your personal life perhaps,but here: I've only seen you insulting and pushing what *you* want others to do.
      You come across as someone who seems to think they've gained objective enlightenment about the human experience when you very blatantly are just projecting what you think other people's experiences of their own lives are onto them and then suggesting that only one choice and outlook is the correct one (all while throwing insults and using belittling language towards them,not to forget.)
      This brand of bullying and the "logic" you're employing is absolutely nothing new and makes the person who uses them look like a kid begging for attention and to make themselves feel superior. It's school yard level bullying. Pretending it's anything but that and trying to thinly veil it like you were offering up any kind of philosophical counter point to people just saying some uplifting words to each other is the real insult...
      I have no idea if you are a 13 year old kid,and I'll never know,but that's the same level of thought you've shown me goes into your words so I can only assume.
      Everything in life *is* made up by us,so why choose to be hurtful to others when you have a choice to just...not be?
      You can make up whatever meaning to it you want,why choose this?
      I won't be responding again. Hope that question gets serious thought put into it.

    Speedrunning this actually makes a lot of sense.
    The game is maybe a 7/10 when you start and the longer you play the lower the score gets, ending up as a 5 tops.

    15:08 Todd Howard doesn't want people being able to beat his games within a 2 hour period or else they're able request a refund.

    Entangled is legitimately one of Bethesda's best quests.

      I agree. And it’s a shame that a game from 7 years earlier did it SO much better and it’s not even close.

    You would think they would know about the chests from Skyrim. It doesn't matter how well you hide it, players will find a way to it.

    Boosting being faster when bound to literally any other key is the kind of bug that I would *love* to know the inner workings of. Like, that's just so stupid. So utterly bonkers. It has to have some kind of story behind it.

      @@alexthewrecker4666 a jumble of code held together by spit and toothpicks. It’s amazing how modders can do anything without breaking parts of the game but I guess that’s why unofficial patches are usually mandatory for most mods 😂

      It can only be a deliberate action for it to be two boost types. Just not implemented in a way that makes any sense.
