You got me confused at the beginning as I thought this was the new 10mm f2.8 autofocus model for E-mount. I would rather spend that extra money for that one though because it's not just wider but also can take ND/VND's up front to have full control of the aperture & shutter speed when you want that bokeh as it has insane close focusing distance. Funny part is that it's cheaper as well. I'm planning to start my youtube channel and this video made me think about the this lens now as autofocus makes it perfect to show the product/tool and very wide angle would help in my tight setup!
My friend.. congratulations on the channel... I need your help.. I bought my Laowa 12 f2.8 and use it on the BM FF, with the Sigma EF-L adapter... I can't get images like yours... even during the day.. they're never sharp... what do you think might be happening? I always try to leave it at least 5.6 to maintain a wider focus... can you help me? My problem is with sharpness and not with focus... do you understand?
This is super gorgeous. Love you real Estate videos. Would you be kind to give us a BTS? Cam settings, rig and gear for the smooth Interior shots, etc? Thanks you make loving BMPCC easy. Please, consider the BTS or point us to a link if already exist. Thanks
Thanks, yeah I plan to do a whole series of videos about shooting interiors. Just trying to find the time too shoot them as they will take more time than a simple review.
yes with an ef to m43 adapter. If you use a standard one you'll get a similar field of view as a 24mm lens on full frame, with a speed booster it will be more like 18mm
Sadly not tried it. I'd imagine the image is more correct with this lens. The DZO will probably have distortion and other lens characteristics. It depends if you want them or not.
Nice one, Palfers. You were ever so slightly soft, but not a deal breaker! The location footage looks great though.
Indeed a very special and impressive lens

How were you so confused? He states what lens it is 30 secs into the video. Were you confused for a whole 30 secs?

Viltrox 13mm f1.4 is pretty good too
will it work on the blackmagic pocket cinema 4k?

@@JonathanPalfrey Thank you . Which ef to m43 adapter did you use? if you dont mind me asking
@@B0UG1ES metabones speedbooster and the Viltrox standard adapter. The Viltrox speedbooster is also quite good but much cheaper.
@@JonathanPalfrey thanks this helped a lot. Are the Viltrox standard adapters pretty cheap?
how does this compare to dzo 12mm?
