The rolling shutter perfomance isn't same actually. It does look same when you compare it to cropped 6k open gate however you should compare them with a wider focal length on 3.3k so the FOV matches

Just got mine. Yes its very good. I returned the 40mm 2.5. that I've was super slow to acquire focus. This one is much faster. Very good. I highly recommend.

Hello Jonathan, I have probably seen this video quite a few times now. I am new to Filmmaking and My forte will be Verite Documentary style filmmaking. I am looking for a light(s) that are sufficient for outdoor and indoor shoots. As you know, interviews are big part of doc and I would like to be able to expose subject against windows or go outside, light up subject, and if not overpower the sun than atleast have some sort of ambient for added context. Can you please recommend first lights to me? I would greatly appreciate your insight as it would be fundamental to my success and would mean a lot coming from you. My budget is somewhere around $600. Thank you.

Every time I shoot in 10 bit I'm going to convert the footage in Prores 10 bit 422 to make it editable in Davinci free version. In this case is it better to shoot in XAVC-HS than in XAVC-S?

QUESTION: how are you getting those sharp details out of the c70 or pcc4k? the detail on skin is incredible. I'm using L-series and I don't get skin pores like that, also, where is all of the noise?! how bro?

RED has done this in the past, it’s not surprising. Unless the camera pays itself off within a couple years, it’s probably not worth you purchasing one.

My friend.. congratulations on the channel... I need your help.. I bought my Laowa 12 f2.8 and use it on the BM FF, with the Sigma EF-L adapter... I can't get images like yours... even during the day.. they're never sharp... what do you think might be happening? I always try to leave it at least 5.6 to maintain a wider focus... can you help me? My problem is with sharpness and not with focus... do you understand?

In my opinion this was a stupid move on Red's part. I bought a KX in Feb this year at full price, to drop the price by nearly 30% in a year means I'll never buy another Red. Why would anyone buy a Red now based on their handling of pricing? Would you buy a new Red in future when there's a chance of it dropping 30% in a year, if you do you have more money than brains. Sony and Canon retains their value far better

It’s crazy we are dancing around the idea of slog 3 being almost obsolete. I’ve used red raw out of the KX and it’s unreal I do wish the fx3 had setting similar to it for sure . If the fx3 were about a $1000 less I think it would be on point for the current times .

I think I will just wait for the iPhone 16. I've been using my iPhone 13 Pro and it is so weird how much money it has generated my business for these lofi (low budget) shoots. My C70 makes me good money, yeah, but it is crazy how many clients just need a quick phone video. So if the iPhone 13 served me well, I am sure the 16 will be great. Just need to remember to set to airplane mode when shooting haha.

Couldn't help but notice how you went in very hard emphasizing how *CHEAP* this tripod head is supposed to be. But how "cheap" could it possibly have been if you *_didn't. . . bother. . . to mention. . . the price???_* Not a good look at all.

i was very interested in this until I saw the price. GTFOH. For $70 bucks more you can get the old 99 V mount battery. I am a bit tired of companies - like SmallRig in particular - price gouging us becasue they know we are a very invested and forward thinking community as photographers/videographers. The sad part is I have the money to get it, but when i know you are trying to milk me I have to draw the line. Smh.

This lens on the Sony A74, Nikon Z5 and Canon R7 and Canon C70 is awesome. I intend to purchase the DSLR Version of this Tamron 35-150mm which is a F2.8-F4

Chiming in to say that there are real negatives to the cheaper NPF batteries on Amazon. I had one blow up while charging and start a fire. If my neighbor wasn't home, I would have lost everything. There are risks to using any lithium battery, but look for the UL mark, unplug if it's getting hot, and use a flameproof charging case wherever possible. I have several Smallrig products and their build quality does lead me to believe they are safer than any random cheap battery. Would still use it with caution.

Can someone help. All I hear is the c70 is better in the shadows and the dog makes it way better. How are you working with the C200 to keep shadows clean and allow highlight recovery.
