Apply weatherproof caulking under the mating surfaces of the air spring platform and frame rail . Not silicone . Coat rubber preservative on the air spring fabric .
before you put in your driveline video the ujoint movement for me, they all should be smooth as butter, if you feel binding you have brinelling, also all flds that i have worked on had at least two, up to four spacer plates at the carrier bearing bracket.
Hope balancing the driveshaft fixes you vibration, i though you were going to put a deck plate on that open spot and move your pogo stick so your air lines don't hit the trailers

Good move. Driveshafts do twist and should really be straightened and balanced every 500,000 miles.
