Neal McDonough.. boomtown was an amazing show.. why did it fail.
I like Tim Olyphant because he realizes that acting isn't uniquely difficult, it's just a job that pays really well. All the "stress" is nothing more than any other job has so I feel no sympathy to any actor who complains about long work schedules. Try coal mining for 30 years.
Timothy is quite the underrated actor to most people, until they watch a few episodes of Deadwood. And the way you describe his approach to acting sounds just like him 👌🙂
Acting is still psychological hard. Every job can be the last job and even half way through a job that seems to be in the bank an actor can just be fired on the whims of a producer or director. I know an actor who had a successful career and was on the up and had a run in with one director and producer and got destroyed. His career was never the same after. We all know the mega actors with the home in the hills but for that there is 100 actors who just get by.
Show was great not smallville great but great
Another fantastic Canadian tv show is Intelligence. It and Bad Blood is fantastic.
