Great Car.. LOVE the LS. and the manuel trans.. BUT.. .. So Sad you guys ( as usual ).. had to " BLING IT UP ". Especially those Beyond Silly Wheels.... Would LOVE to see you guys do something subtle.. That being said.. I am still looking forward to seeing it run and drive
Not really a fan of the wheels, probably would've been better with a set of Chevy Rally Wheels in a bigger size than stock. Not sure about the future edition of a vinyl top either when the top of the car is already black, but maybe you might just make a believer out of me. However, what I do know is that the green paint looks absolutely KILLER, and the 800+ horsepower LS will definitely get that big ol' boat out of its own way! Looking forward to the next part of this build!
Some good ol rally's huh, I saw someone else make the same comment. I don't like those wheels but what happened to being different. Let's all get rallys and black stripes plus a 383 stroker. Car culture us about being different than every Camry on the road not having the same ol tired shit from the 70s
@@Harlo86 HA, putting in a 383 is better than "LSting" everything that moves. Bet you're the kind of guy that would put a set of DUBS on a Prius with bright lime green paint
@@turles8575 so a 383 is better than an LS is what you're saying? A 383 in a sand rail, 383 a mud truck on 44s, 383 in a 35 foot fountain? I like both engines and depending on the build both have a place. But an ls is far more efficient and easier to make more power than a 383. My point was why put the same anything on every car. Shits been done too many times.
That is going to be a wonderful car when done. I have a ‘71 Impala so I have been watching with great interest. My car is also green. the fuel sender looks a bit odd so did some investigating and found the cars with the 2 barrel carbs came with different senders than the 4 barrel carbs. Wonder why? Must be some reason, anyone know?
@powernationtv That frame with that 800+hp motor will be one Flexi Flyer! Is it only me that noticed how unsafe it will be? The idea with the beautiful work on the body and the engine build yet how could Joe Bob(average driver) control it if they floor it for more than 2-4 seconds?! Ok, if the plan is just for short home, coffee, home at 1/4 throttle drives fine. Not to forget the Shit brakes! Holy crap! Wood brake work only slightly better than the stock one. I feel that is a waste of a car mostly built to this level. Just food for thought but figure at this point you will not do anything. Good luck and make sure your insurance is paid up for when who ever Joe Bob is who will crash it. Flexi frame plus crap brakes=bent metal and 6' under.
Nonsense, had the same car ran 10.8s many 11 second passes 100s of street burnouts with stock frame, doors close fine front window has never moved. With the long wheelbase burnouts and slides are very easy to control.
QUESTION: The screws the run horizontal down the body line that hold the body trim... Other than welding the holes up and doing lots of body work, is there any other options to eliminate them?
ive seen it so many times where they all get hit with a ball peen hammer and glass bondo over. i wouldnt do it but its all too common, I did a 69 caprice up about 10 years ago and what i did was bought a stick on trim that came in a roll that looked alot like the original one. the soluyion was just too damn ez to not go that route
People., there’s no way with just 1 pump they will ever ever ever make more then 550/600 rwhp if they are lucky., and then ass wireing., they went the wrong way on the fuel system.
I tried the POR15 tank sealer on my Honda CBR tank. I followed all the directions, and it peeled within a year. It made a huge mess. I am still dealing with it years later. I wish there was a way to re-galvanize the tank instead.
Its not dinosaur juice... its the effluent of high pressure anaerobic composting. In other words... the planet is shit powered [with a touch of decayed vegetation]. Notice some of the best oil finds are near coastal areas.
Fat Stack is sitting pretty! Like the wheels, but I'd like to see some classic rally wheels with the Chevy center cap on there as an alternative. Still a damn sweet ride.👍
The wheels they picked for this ride are horrible. Being that yrs old and I am old school, you need some big sidewalls and less rims. It is amazing how a horrible set of wheels ruins the look of this ride.
Watch Part 5: th-cam.com/video/wamr_k1ZKyM/w-d-xo.html
Freaking amazing. Love this car. Wish you guys were local to FL could really use your talents on my car😊
That car is sweet! Especially that engine. 840 horses would make that as fun to drive as it is to look at.
Amazing. Tommy is very talented he can literally make anything
Always a good watch. Thanks guys.
Oh, the recess on the edge of the spokes would look really good in body colour 😊
The guys are certainly. Talented. Tommy. Too
Great work guys can’t wait to see the next video
Been waiting for this one
Why do you have to put the
Vinyl top back on?
Because it had one originally?
The black painted roof looks
Great. Vinyl tops are so done.
I have driven a 409 4 speed , joyous day it was.
Is there anything that Tommy can't make?
He definitely has a lot of skill.
Biscuits?
He’s also great as the dad on Young Sheldon.
He cannot make bad cars. 🤷♂️
I have a Man in my house today that said he has run Signal gas 90 years of age. Great day to you all and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
paint looks awesome.
u do this before u paint the car.... that's the smart and easy way
Looking GOOD! Great job

Saw most of this on TV, but I would like to see the finished product and running down the strip.
You guys took the cake making a Donk I bet your viewers went up like crazy
This car is like a sore weiner ..... you just can't beat it ! Ole Tommy can use that saying if he wants 😆
That is the most beautiful car I have ever seen 😍 ❤
Thanks Tom. Maybe I could get you to fix my gm’s broken gas gauge?
Omg I wish my 75 could look like this!
It ain’t easy being green, but this Fat Stack just kicked the door in!
1:50 Tells us about exploding gas tanks, then doesn't use the grounding strap on the fuel transfer unit, lol

Wow caprices have a flismy ass frame i would have never known
Very nice work 👍👍👍
Skirts back on it? Can't wait to see how they make that happen. Really hoping to see how they modify them around those tires.
"Ciller Caprice" LOL!
The 409 badness.
You should get Slick to put a custom interior in that Caprice. youtube: "stiched by slick". He does some crazy conversions.
hope. u updated this car with all new let lights. and gauges...
Don't split up the episode, make it all about fat stack.
The fuel filter is very bad and small in size. It should be a longer size for ease of work 🫁

I believe that one.
Rick's tanks in El Paso could've built ya'll a tank,if he didn't have one on the shelf
That car is awesome! Should take it to LS fest and power tour!!
Yessir got a donk build going on
What are you going to do to the frame? Looks pretty sparce to handle all that torque.(?)
Amazon how dainty those frame rails look.
A vinyl roof does fit the character of the car. I still wouldn't have done it though.
One nice car
put the filter before the pump... so u dk t kill it

All that sanding talk but please tell me your gonna color sand all that orange 🍊 peel
What kind of undercoating product is that? Any link perhaps? Thanks!

I was wondering the
Same thing…
They would of put the sending unit back in so the fuel gauge works
@@leddygee1896That's where the sending unit goes

The wheel on backwards
All that I can say besides how cool this build is, is that it’s about damn time.

The tank from a 96 Buick roadmaster won't work?
Should have put the 30 gallon 67 vette tank in it. Or had one made special.
The POR tank repair kit is one of the best products to restore an old tank. I've had good luck with it
Where you find that gas tank at
The 348 was not that bad !
I tried the POR15 tank sealer on my Honda CBR tank. I followed all the directions, and it peeled within a year. It made a huge mess. I am still dealing with it years later. I wish there was a way to re-galvanize the tank instead.
Didn't work for me either what a mess new gas tank for me from now on
Should have just used a buick road master tank

What would it take for you guys to do my caprice 🥹🤔?
Im not sold on those wheels yet.
I never will be. I can't stand that huge rim and low profile tire combo. Some good old Cragars would be my choice.
Plain black steel wheels looks the best on these big body cars in my opinion, cragars are cool on late sixties muscle cars
Other than product endorsement , what was this episode about?
Love the green, but those 'hooptie' wheels need to go...
What is that paint code?
Make any frame modifications before painting🤦♀️.

Now y’all building donks lol always trying to steal the sauce
Great Britain* Juror...is down there HOT
We got our sivy he said 😂
We all know that fuel filter is toooo small….obviously
Put some gold trim on it. Green for the money and gold for the honeys.

I would never run a fuel system like you show in your animation . The pressure Regulator should be after the fuel rails on the return side
wrong
where would i find the mods done to the chasssis ??????
The wheels gotta go!!
Buy it, then you can change it to how you like it 🙄
You should of used bigger wheels or smaller discs then it would look REALLY Dorky!

Will it have 22” gold spokes? They’d look gooood!
Maybe it's me but all the host sounds the same
The 409 was a truck engine and was never verygood in a car.

wheels look Ga..pink..what are you doing?
for a Chevy she does look good just not a car for me being a FORD guy
It's never too late to become a Chevy guy.

I'm not mad at these two white guys building this car but they need to realize this car is a symbol of a culture
You do realize that a different culture have hot-rodded these cars before donkmaster did. Narrow minded POV, any way carry on.
As Elmore said: Boat hoes and manifodes.
I would have much rather watched you fix up this car and kept it original I have absolutely no interest in what you have done to
Horrible wheels
