The Fall Guy, Airwolf, Knight Rider, A-team, and Dukes of Hazard helped me through my childhood. Great work on the build. I hope you guys try your hand at a Bell 222 helicopter at some point.
Lol those were all such great shows. I even bought my nephew an airwolf mini remote control a few years ago. Didn't last long but it was cool to look at 😁 I actually have the Fall Guy 1st season DVD set and watch it every now and then, along with the original Magnum P.I.
I actually had a lifted '78 K10, 350, 4 speed, 14x36 tires on aluminum wagon wheels, 3" one piece roll bar with 4 KC Daylighters. Never jumped it, wasn't that crazy, but it did get some time on the beach, in the woods, through mud and snow.
I had a cheap plastic fall guy truck. The kind with the axles that snap into grooves. I remember getting a knife and shaving the rockers about half an inch to give it a lift kit 😂
@SGTJDerek lol, I saw the same trucks finished numerous times. Being a gear head, things are never really finished. I know Sergeant Rock and Copperhead have been done for a long time. I think the Interceptor is done, too. I get what you're saying, having 5 different builds going on at the same time, and only having a half-hour show that's split between commercials and company sponsors, that doesn't leave much time for work.
@@Happyfacehotwheels I still haven't seen the Jag finished. SGT Rock and Copperhead were both started when he was still with RTM/Trucks. Same with the Willys, which is still one of my favorites.
Lol it's actually super awesome and did some of the best car stunts I've ever seen. I highly recommend you watch a video on the show I just did and was blown away chi stunts suck!
I inherited my grandfathers 78 GMC and I already put in at least $2k-$3k in replacement parts. It’s all turquoise but I’m definitely going to try and give it a two tone. Been really obsessed with the fall guy and my goal is to make my truck look like the Fall Guy
Always was a Fall Guy fan and loved the truck on the show. Would love to own anything even close to the look of the Faux Guy truck. Absolutely awesome looking truck and by the looks of it you could use it as a bad ass daily driver.
Now. It’s time to see how she does in the same mud hole that y’all took it in when you brought the truck on the show. I’m a die hard square body man. I have a lifted 85 and got my son a 2wd short bed lowered. By far my favorite trucks.
Those classic TV shows definitely left a lasting impact on many of us. It's great to see the nostalgia reflected in your build. A Bell 222 helicopter sounds like an exciting challenge for the future. I'm curious to see how you would tackle that project. Keep up the awesome work! 🚁🎥👍
That's right sunshine, all those ''i wish this week would end''s start to fade away the closer it gets to drivin'. 😂 That's why we do this brutha. Great lookin' rig.
Kevin Webb is such a cool, nice and humble guy. I only had the pleasure of messaging with him back and forth a few times, but his knowledge and kindness is amazing! 👏👍 And when it comes to this Square Body built: I literally would give at least one kidney to get a truck like this, it looks perfectly! 😍😍😍 BUT: Here in Germany we don’t have those trucks around at all, cause they were never sold here. You have to import a truck from the US to get one here, if you do want to buy one of the existing trucks (as a base truck for modifications) you will have to pay literally a FORTUNE! 😳👎 (we are talking prices above 30.000 Euro for a truck which needs MANY hours of work put into it!) So if anyone has an idea where I could get a truck like this (not a completely done built, I guess those are for sure expensive) to start a built like a Fall Guy truck replica, it would help me a lot. Cause I don’t have a single clue where I should start to look for a 80‘s K10 Chevy in the US, so any websites/hints/tipps and tricks would be highly appreciate! 🙏 Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋
What an epic build you guys! It came out way better than the original Fall guy’s square body, specially for the square headlights, man for real what a clean job, A dream truck for me.
If The Fall Guy came on...my sisters knew I'd grab a baseball bat or something and take of running, they knew to hand me the tv remote or they'd die. Dad had a 4x4 longbed chevy sitting in the driveway so it was good times and memories!!! Great builds!!!
Damn good looking build. Love everything about it except the billet steering wheel. Always been a fan of the Fall Guy truck and of brown or green vehicles in general because they are period correct.
I tried building one. Ended up selling it for a huge loss. Put that on my bucket list. if I win the lottery this would be one of my buys.... new CB though.
Funny story about the Fall Guy show, I lived in So Cal and they were filming the first season so we had never heard of Fall Guy before anyway, my little brother asked what they were filming and he came over and said they're filming a movie called Frog Eyes and it'll be coming out in September.. we waited and waited for Frog Eyes and it never came out but loved the Fall Guy movie.. We eventually put it together .. True Story
Those o square body Chev & GMC regular cab pickups were built from 1973 - 1987. The rest of the square body models on the other hand were built from 1973 - 1991.
Power nation sure goes through the Co hosts. Talk about a bunch of divas 😂 engine power is the only aspect of this show that is consistent and at least pat doesn't seem like he wants to kill his Co host 😂
trucks went to shit after Stacy David left... had a minor resurgence with Tetz. Lou Santiago was great, but short lived. Best hot commercial break girl who actually got air time was Courtney Hansen. Pat on engine power is rather amazing, as he is a legit legend race team engine builder. Chuck and Joe (original horsepower crew) got it all started... and Joe has stayed the longest. Last of the original crew.
Had that Scottsdale been Step-Side, it'd been close to the one from "Hardcastle & McCormick" vs. "The Fall Guy". Both GMC trucks from mid-80s ABC action series.
Square Body is alright. I had a real one.. 76. I don't know why, but I've always considered any 80's square body's pretenders. Chevy let that 70's style live just 7 years too long if you ask me. But that was followed up by the best, and last real Chevy truck ever made. GMT400.
I love this build. The two major things I dislike is the left-hand drop front axle. It needs to be right-hand drop. The other thing I dislike is the dash pad. I don't like the plaid design built into it.
This is totally off topic but you guys did a Ford 460 build back in the day. I recently bought a 79 bronco and it came with a 460 on propane and I was wondering if you guys can tell me or make a video on how to convert to gas. Thanks
A nice and simple Truck like back in the good old days when none said stuff like: "Shame on you for intoxicating our environment with your gasoline or diesel truck "
@ 1700 roughly here seeing the almost hole side shot of the real fall guy rig here.....wondering if this jumping rig also has the bed side cut out on the pass,. side between the cab & the front of the rear pass., side........???????????? did all the fall guy rig's have that same side bed cut out or cut straight threw part of the bed.............???????
Only the primary hero truck ever got a compartment. The secondary hero truck only had a fake panel to simulate the look inside the bed of having a compartment, but the bedsides were still solid. There was never a reason for any truck doing jumps, stunts, or posing as Colt's truck getting destroyed to have a compartment built into the truck. The studio would not have taken the time and expense to make the mod on a truck that they planned to beat on or destroy.
“We weren’t trying to recreate that style of truck” - well, why the hell not??!?? With all the stuff they do in this channel why not mid-engine the thing?? 😂
The Fall Guy, Airwolf, Knight Rider, A-team, and Dukes of Hazard helped me through my childhood. Great work on the build. I hope you guys try your hand at a Bell 222 helicopter at some point.
Absofuckinglutely!!!!

Thanks for the chance to be apart of this show with my FG Mid Engine stunt truck. Had such a blast!!
Did they use the round light front end for filming? If so I’m gonna have to start trying to find that on the show.
That truck is KILLER! The rescue/restoration would have made great content.
Feel much better about my '77 round headlamp now!
When I was a kid, I used to have the Fall Guy truck toy. And me and the neighbor kid used to launch it off of his rooftop…was so much fun!

That's not just any Fall Guy truck. That's the one from all the awesome jumps.
Stacy David's Gearz did a nice Fall Guy truck.
They should of just kept him going since day one lol, the only name you need to know. Lol
I like Stacy and his builds but, have yet to see one finished.

Its beautiful, my dad loves fall guy, he passed away in march, we started watching this build together, i wish he could have seen this episode.
Amazed that the FG mid-engine stunt truck still exists, and it's nice to see it in the current condition.
It's incredible to think that Fall Guy Truck actually jumped on the show and is still around today. Amazing 😎😎😎😎
I have to agree, this truck is perfect! Owned a lot of these, and enjoyed them, should have kept the last 79 I had.
Glad this guy bought the first original fall guy roundeye GMC truck! I remember when the ad for this truck was for sell online!💗💗
My heart sank for a second when he popped the hood. I thought he was going to tell us that it was Tesla powered now.
That would be a pretty neat build. Would rather drive a Tesla powered k10 or c10 that any other electric vehicle, js
Lol it's actually super awesome and did some of the best car stunts I've ever seen. I highly recommend you watch a video on the show I just did and was blown away chi stunts suck!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! SHE CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL!!!! TOTALLY AWESOME BUILD!!!! I LOVE THE FALL GUY AS WELL!!! GREAT VIDEO AND THANKS FOR SHARING!!!
I had an 1986 Square body 3/4 ton it was a 4x2 but I loved it because it sat higher up and could really take a beating on bumpy roads.
I knew a guy once who built a K series 4 door long bed with a 5.9 Cummins swap. Absolute masterpiece. Olive drab green, running 37's. Gorgeous.

I had a Silverado ljust like that with Chrome roll bar, KC lights and 40 tires! Back in the late 80's
Waaauw, love the square bodies. Its on my bucketlist.
love what you do mark! keep it going please
Great job,,always a good day to save another square body from the scrap heap..

Same color scheme as a mid 80’s truck I had with the pretend diesel. Looks GOOD!!!
Nicely done. That's perfect.
THOSE ARE THE TWO NICEST SQUARE BODY K 10 4X4 s I VE EVER SEEN
If The Fall Guy came on...my sisters knew I'd grab a baseball bat or something and take of running, they knew to hand me the tv remote or they'd die. Dad had a 4x4 longbed chevy sitting in the driveway so it was good times and memories!!! Great builds!!!
Same here my man. I learned to drive in my paps square body also done my first motor swap in that same truck
Damn good looking build. Love everything about it except the billet steering wheel. Always been a fan of the Fall Guy truck and of brown or green vehicles in general because they are period correct.
Nothing better than a square body truck!

LED light upgrade was a great thing I did to my Square Body
Just started the episode, hope you jump that thing!
Dang they didn't jump it........
I love Kevin's face when he says
"no...its not a lot no....these...these trucks ahh.... weren't treated very well on the show" 😄
That's a sweet truck! Nothing looks better than that.

Beautiful is all I can say!!!
Recall seeing that Fall Guy truck at a car show in Maryville earlier this year.
They need to build the dodge from walker Texas ranger next.

Beautiful American truck decorated with all Chinese parts.
Longbeds are CRAZY.......like this one, the Fallguy truck or the blood sweat and tears truck from Tim Allen
...and GEARS
Pretty cool truck build, but I'd wanna do something about that ruff riding leaf sprung front axle; 3-link & coil-overs?
