My God, imagine what this man vould accomplish if he had a 50'x100' workshop and he worked YT as his fulltime job...just seeing the console builds I always knew you are an ultra talented man, seeing what you get done is very impressive. Glad I have the privilage of seeing your work.
So glad that you are bringing back your car building segments...really missed them because we can tell how happy you are when you are just around cars. Please keep these up! Cheers, Joe
Ahh Jessie that's awesome, You now have an itch, Next thing you will be eyeing is a small CNC milling machine, Don't say I didn't warn you, Might need a bigger shed. ;)
Not a bad pick up. Good save. I'd try adding a heavier layer of welding metal and cleaning that first before the counterweights. It's possible the same thing would happen too because the stress on the weld. I like your DIY projects.
It’s great to see you building things again! By the way, I can smell the stick welding. I remember having it in the high school and it’s a very distinct smell. Oh the memories.
This is what I'm talking about bithead!! These videos where you do projects are the best in my opinion! They take a lot of time and effort but plz plz plz keep doing them! I love your art! Been watching since happyconsolegamer shouted you out!
17:06 What a disaster. After all that work and time. Nice work recovering it with the weld, and using that gauge was super sharp. I'm looking forward to this series and seeing you fabricate everything from scratch. Are you going to pour and cast a block, or are you going to mill it out of a solid chunk? Oh and... HAPPY FRIKKIN NEW YEAR TO THE BEST VIDEOGAME (and practical engineering) CHANNEL IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION!
YES, now this is what I'm talking about. I've been subscribed to your channel since you built that aquarium SNES but honestly I've kindof lost interest in retro computing/gaming since, and actually been really into cars. Funnily enough you're now the second channel who's started making car related content after being more focused on other stuff. Also not that it really matters but I just woke up so I'm not fully conscious yet and for some reason I was convinced you were building an Inline 4 engine until I got to 7:00 (Not that it matters cause simply building any engine in the first place is fucking awesome) But yeah I'll definitely be keeping up with your project and looking forward for future uploads. I'm also glad that you don't spend months editing these as well cause some other youtubers I watch talk about how they spend more time editing than actually working on the project which pisses me off cause I'm impatient. Edit: oh also if you've read this far you planning on making a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke engine? Also also you planning on building the piston yourself? That'd be on hell of a fucking task.
Been a very long time follower of this channel and have to say I think your building and car videos are some of my favorites. It's great to see your skills at work and love to see your passion for creating and fixing things!
What many don't know is that shed has a trap door leading to a fallout shelter. During WW3, everything will be irradiated but BitHead will be underground playing roms.
I have no interest in cars, but if BitHead is involved, I'M IN! BitHead could make doing his taxes entertaining. May your New Year be filled with Jack & Coke's and 100K subscribers!
This fucking guy is unstoppable! He looked like he was going to to keel over during the Christmas special and here he is setting the tone once more. Horray!, Hooray for BitHead1000! 2025 the breakthrough year for the show!
When the part broke on the lathe my stomach churned because I envisioned the off balance part flying at you. Glad you are okay and were able to save the part. Can't wait for thr next installment.
I really enjoyed this and it takes me back to the years I spent making stuff on a Colchester lathes triumph 2000. I moaned constantly about the dirt, cuts, cold, dust and trips to the hospital to remove pieces of metal from the eyes but looking back, it was the best job I ever had. A real good laugh and it's very satisfying making something too. Genius use of the angle grind at the start. I thought, " here we go, an hours worth of hacksawing" 😂. Hope you get it finished before the shed burns down 😉 What's the run out of each end of the shaft relative to each other?
When you’re spending hundreds of dollars on tools, but your jeans still have holes in the crotch. This has been my favorite TH-cam channel from the start. Amazing work, Jesse!
What a save on the broken weld, you should have put a little bit of a bevel on the throw and the shaft where you welded it so you could have lathed it smooth and it wouldnt break but still a great save
The return of the greatest car program in the history of human civilization?! I’M IN!!!!!
Fuck yea!
That's gonna be an incredibly tiny car.
yessir

Dude, I work in a machine shop and I'm impressed!
You're the only MoFo that could possibly get me into car shit. But I have to say, machining over all is pretty bad ass.
That was an awesome watch lots of fun, thanks for sharing!
Love it. Your enthusiasm and curious mind makes it a good watch. Yessie....dont let a certain someone borrow the new lathe.
Christmas special, back to back, with an engine special.
Going for it Jess
I need Bithead1000 on my team during the apocalypse
Fantastic video Jesse !!! 🙂
Not a bad pick up. Good save. I'd try adding a heavier layer of welding metal and cleaning that first before the counterweights. It's possible the same thing would happen too because the stress on the weld. I like your DIY projects.
Yeah, I left the weld thicker the second time around not pretty …we’ll see if it holds up
Awesome video, can’t wait for the next in this series.
Class is in. For those of us who never got to take a shop class, these videos are a service.

What a fun watch! But it also made me realize I'm a lazy piece of crap. Great work!
My grandpa was a machinist. This takes me instantly back to his workshop. Thank you Jesse, and Happy New Year!
I love this so much. Thank you Bithead. I need to sub to the patreon this year
When you’re spending hundreds of dollars on tools, but your jeans still have holes in the crotch.
