Created an eye serum with 10% argireline for my mum who's almost 70. I can say it does do something cuz she said when she squints her lower eyelid would sometimes twitch on first few uses but eventually went away with constant daily use. As you said, it works better on thin skin like around the eyes.
I have seen visible results from using Argeline from The Ordinary . Intriguing! As well as the combo with Botox - that is what my takeaway . Thank you Clair! You look beautiful, and you are beautiful, inteligent and kind human being!
Hi Claire, your face looks sooooo good, so plumped up and smooth. If I didn’t know Better, I’d think it’s was filler but know it must be a Adipeau! That cram is brilliant, it’s changed my face so much for the better too.
Thank you! It's so funny you mention filler because a few people have asked if I've had something done. I haven't, I promise! But the effect on my cheeks is really quite noticeable. I've stopped using it on my forehead because there's no change there, but delighted with my fuller chops!! Really pleased it's working out for you.
Oh I’m so happy to hear that you still think that the Adipeau is working. I bought it and I’m not seeing a difference and I’m at that point of deciding whether I should continue or not. Will you be doing another follow up video of before and after with your results since you’ve had a longer time using it now? Thank you!
I’ve been using the argireline from The Ordinary for the last year. I didn’t really notice much of a difference until I ran out and there was a delay in my order arriving. I hope to never run out again, lol. It really does make a difference. I am also going to try Frownies. I have a friend who swears by them. I always assumed she had Botox, but she said she had not at all, and it was just the Frownies.
Great review! Based on what I see, I don’t think it’s worth the price unless the wrinkles are really fine and not deep yet. It seems like it’s better to spend the extra money on Botox instead.
*Hi Claire, I have been watching Dr. Rajani's videos for a long time I like the advice he gives, but it is a pity that his products are not shipped to Europe. Thanks for the info*
I would love to see a weekly skincare and devise routine of yours!!! Terrified I’ve made some poor choices with treatments, I.e. buccal fat removal 4 years ago at 28 and then Morpheus 8 /neck tite on jaw line and chin after chin Lipp surgery just last month. Right now it actually looks good and has made the buccal area even look better, but terrified that it will look even worse in 6 month. I am now 34. watching your channel in hopes to learn how to help look better as I age knowing I stupidly got buccal and then RF.
I’m planning to do a video on my skincare routine next month to coincide with my 50th birthday! Don’t despair. If your results are looking good at the moment then hopefully they will continue and, with products that support the long-term health of your skin and a healthy lifestyle (crucial), you will be able to protect your skin with a simple routine for years to come.
Thank you so much!! Can’t wait for the video and thank you for your Chanel !!! Your content is fantastic and extremely valued!! ❤️ happy early 50th !!!
I have very thin skin, but The Ordinary never worked for me. However, I did find a 20% argireline serum online at Amazon, and combined it with The Ordinary Matrixyl. It worked for about two weeks on my forehead, but after that i must have built up a tolerance, because after that it didn’t work. It didn’t work at all around my mouth.
I agree i dont believe that any of these expensive creams can do miracles. From skincare i expect to even out skin, to give glow, but i am not paying thousands, for creams that claim that they lift. I better would get really natural treatment PRF like stem cells. Its not so many providers here, in SF and probably in other states, but i believe it will be soon more providers. That makes sense. If stem cells can grow finger, then i believe it will definitely rejuvenate/ plump and lift the skin🙏 I never liked or think that i will do neuromodulators, but first time i did at 50, 2 years ago i was very sick. The only thing i liked from it, was that adjusted my super overactive one brow., so i tried last September Dysport and i didnt have any reaction like to Botox, so i will continue for now probably once a year, and not overdoing with too many units. , Have a blessed day 🙏🧡
My question is how do we layer all this skin care? One skin says put IT on first. What about vitamin C serum? I am confused. Thanks for your channel and info you bring us!! Tell us how to layer all these products!! Please!
I try to avoid too many products, which is partly why I'm not continuing with this one, but while I was using this serum I applied it to my freshly washed skin first, waited a few mins and then carried on with my usual routine. In the morning that meant then applying vit C and the Calecim multi action cream on top, and in the evening I applied my retinal on top and then Adipeau on my cheeks and Calecim on my forehead and T zone. Hope that helps!
Would love to see you talk to someone who is researching the "topical botox" which is currently still in trials. It's not argireline and it would be applied professionally by a derm
Like you , I was looking at something to extend the effects of Botox. I purchased the Revox, and although I didn't use it as faithfully as you, I didn't see any results. Also, the pump malfunctioned and the serum started coming out at the bottom of the pump. I don't think there is or can be a topical substitute for Botox. I purchased the Ordinary Argireline but have not used it yet, as I am trying to finish the Revox. I'm very curious to see how the Adipeau continues to work for you. That may be my next skin care addition. Thanks for all you do and your "Honest" opinion.
I’d be interested to hear how you find the argireline at a fraction of the price. Sorry the Revox ended up being a waste of money. I’ll film another Adipeau update in a couple of months.
I used the Revox product faithfully and also didn't see any results. Adipeau works!!! I'll be starting my 5th month using it with tremendous results. Absolutely love what it has done for the volume in my face.

I love the Ordinary's argirilene serum. It's the first thing I put on after washing my face, just on m 11s. My forehead skin is thin enough for it to work on me. The newest product that I'm loving right now is Qure's micro infusion kit with growth factor serum. Wow what a difference! I immediately saw results after using it the first time, but that went away by the next morning. Then the next day it seemed nothing had happened at all. But by day 3 it was so obvious that I looked tauter and brighter. Even the one hand that I'd used a bit on at just one spot, that one spot is obviously smoother than anywhere else on that hand or the same spot on the other hand. I can't wait to see what happens over the next 3 months.
K I tried it. I really like the effects. Fine lines on the forehead ARE GONE, YAY. The 11's are also smoothing out and almost gone, I just started using it. Also I found I needed it at night, as I frown when I sleep and watch movies or on the computer. I will continue using it until I can get to my next injection. I think I will always use this in my arsenal.
@@thehonestchannel It did, I also tried it on my mother who is older on her who has deeper 11's it does make a noticeable difference but I think for deeper lines people are going to still need botox or Xeomin etc. and good skin care to get rid of those pesky deeper lines. While I don't have deep lines in my 11's I want to keep them at bay so far this product made my 111's reduce to 11's. Whoa. Right now I prefer Xeomin as it doesn't allow our bodies to get used to botox and it can be used in any unit size, also like you I prefer very little botox in the 11's and my ENT agreed I only really needed 12 units.
