    Claire!! Can you make a video of skincare you would choose over everything else. Whether or not it's oralift, adipeau, retinol, red light therapy, micro needling etc. Its sooo confusing 😢 have no idea what to choose. And I trust you completely ❤

      What I found with the small red light device that I began using last year is that it has been great for strengthening the muscles and in so doing bulking up my top lip that had become very thin with age. My top lip now looks much fuller again. I'm 69 and never used botox or anything like that.

    I’ve used the Sarah Chapman range for 13 years now and have been told my skin is exceptional by dermatologists. I believe partly it’s genetics but largely due to Sarah Chapman’s proprietary peptides in her products. When I’ve tried alternative high end brands I’ve always returned to her face creams and oils as they definitely suit my skin best and give amazing results. Every 8 weeks I do 2 weeks of her stem cell treatment and it really supercharges my skin, I combine it with derma-rolling so it penetrates that tiny bit more. I swear by it. I’m happy to pay the cost. I’ll keep trying other products because I’m a beauty junkie but will always have her products in my cupboard too.

    I bought three on the three for two offer. There were tons available in the store, so I think the waiting list is hype. I've used it for 3 days, so not long enough to judge but I'm a tad underwhelmed. I noticed an improvement overnight when using the L'Oréal retinol laser renew. And an improvement in 3 days when trying Adipeau. So we'll see. I shall get back to you after two weeks. I hope I'm wrong but I have feeling I may be disappointed. I shall definitely eat humble pie if I'm wrong.

    I was reading reviews of OneSkin face and some people said they quit using it for a couple of weeks and their skin looked terrible, so they went back on it. If this product is making real changes to our skin, how can that be. It seems the changes are temporary and strictly cosmetic.

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It’s a good idea to take before pictures when you use a product like that as often you don’t think much has changed until you compare before and afters. Unfortunately though you do need to keep using peptide creams/serum for lasting results although not necessarily daily.
      It would be the same with No7 or any other.
      The benefits may hold up for a limited period of time but once the peptides are removed the cells go back to their old way of functioning.

      Glad you find my approach helpful. Honest answer is I haven't found a cream or home device yet that can tackle deep lines. Chemical peels and laser treatments can make a big difference as well - though I'm afraid of the deep peels!

      @@dophina Same. I went in for a consult with a cosmetic surgeon a few weeks ago. I've been keeping up with all the fun lasers and procedures through the years, had laser for rosacea so I am not starting from scratch. I questioned the plan the dr suggested as it involved a new-ish laser and treatment that has been whispered about as causing fat loss and skin sagging--that leads to needing plastic surgery., I wonder if some drs get the lasers, need to pay them off so overuse them and get more money from surgery after all. I am excited about being "refreshed", don't mind playing gold prices for gold work but I feel some drs aren't...honest. I rely on peer reviews more than drs now, sadly. If you see a bunch of people saying fat loss and that isn't desired, question the dr who suggests it.

    I was interested by their face cream (N7) but unfortunately there is fragrance in it and my skin hates it... After looking at all the products from the range I am surprised to see so many ingredients (like 60-70% of the formula) after the preservatives phenoxyetanol and parabens.... I know those preservatives can only be in very low percentage in leave-on product. I also know some ingredients don't need to be in high percentage to be effective... but still I am used to some of those ingredients and for instance seeing panthenol after the preservatives is a first for me. What can it do so low in the list (I remember that from the serum) And in some of the products the peptides are the very last ingredients.... I am not very familiar with them and have no products which have them in it so I can't compare. But is it usual to see peptides so far in the list ? Can they perform even in such tiny concentration in a product ? Thanks

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great points here. I interviewed the scientists behind the peptide discovery yesterday and was impressed by what they had to say. They have created something quite unique which they’ve been able to prove does penetrate the skin barrier. The serum is fragrance free and I found it non-irritating. Because their peptides are highly targeted they don’t need many in there. It will be interesting to see how things unfold as consumers start trying in large numbers.

    • @beeapprentice2725
      @beeapprentice2725 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have to put the active ingredients in a solution that will spread it across your skin. Otherwise, it would all absorb in one spot, and not go out in a thin layer all over your skin That would make it way to expensive.

Like your subscribers below I have bought the day cream and the face serum (I figured the serum could be used under the eyes as well, and the night cream was v heavy when I was given a tester). I have been using day and night now for 10days and the only thing I can reports is a tightening around my eyes, neck and cheeks but nothing visible yet. The one downside is that it does not sit well under make-up and can pill badly, so I have tried to use the products at least an hour before I put on foundation to maximise absorption. 10.15 I used 4 bottles of Adipeau over 4 months last year and I swear by it. I have not been using it since I ran out about 4 months ago, but the volume has stayed. I am 68 and I saw the difference within a few days. My daughter came back from a holiday and kept asking me what I had done as I looked better. I know it works, even though different people may have different results. That and Tretinoin are game changers - amongst possible others, a lot of which are very pricey. As someone commented, what is the point if you cannot sustain it? Admittedly, Adipeau is expensive, but I don't think you would need to use it every day once you have peaked with the volume ir generates. Hope this helps.

      I am using it since well I am not sure, three months now, only under the eyes where I have some volume loss (that fat went down gravity hole, so to my nasolabials that are kinda marked now, and maybe it is a bad idea in the first place because well, the new fat, it will eventualy go the same path, also, I have lost few years ago due to some weight loss when I moved my buccal fat and now I have perioral mounds, and with my thin lips and the corner of the lips oriented down, in the evening light I do look sad, I have to get rid of that after the summer), and I can't see any result what so ever. I use it during the night and sometimes in the mornings, because I use sunscreen during the day, so it depends. Also, this whole week I haven't slept good, had to work so much that I did eat late and had intermitent edema under the eyes or some bags in formations. I am 35. I have bought two bottles, and will give it try until they ran out. But if this is the result I won't repurchase. It didn't worked so far. I will try Skinbetter Alpharet, and Calecium cream later this year, I have atopic dermatitis, sinusitis and rhinitis that this year attacked strongly under the eyes area for the first time, I have lost a lot of collagen, have new Dennie Morgan ( I had them already, now it is gross, and when I have this intermitent edema I look like I have two different eyes ) lines, so I will do one non invasive procedure after the summer, it is called plasmage.
