    A really excellent instruction on how to remove the bumper. This is extremely useful. Your clean, clear accent is also appreciated, it's a rare thing nowadays. Thank you very much indeed.

      Thanks! First real attempt at a vlog style video for me.
      I live in Central Southern England, so my accent is quite 'BBC'.
      Glad you found it helpful. 😊

    Great video, I am going to attempt the same for a tow bar! Do you think you could have got away without taking the arch trim off the bumper but split it at that joint? I’m scared I would break all the clips!

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With hindsight, that's probably what you are supposed to do, but I can't se how you would do it in reality without access to the back of the trim?

      Glad to be of assistance. I had to look at loads of other short clips to work it all out, amazed no-one has ever done a full how to!

    Hi mate, is there any way of getting to the second reversing sensor without taking the whole bumper off? Someone seems to have pushed my sensor in.

    Great video. Realistically how long does it take to remove the bumper?

    Would like to see the tow bar for the r line? Did you have to cut the bumper in the bottom diffuser?

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is an area marked out on the inside of the bottom diffuser which had to be removed. The bar I fitted is a removable one, so it lives in the Boot when it is not fitted.

    Hi mate, quick question. Do you xenons? And if so do you get the green headlight indication on the instrument cluster when you switch the light on?

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hiya. I do have xenons with auto headlights. I don't think I get the green lamp when they come on via the auto function, but I think I might do if I override and turn them on. Hope this helps...?

      @@iamaparanoidandroid1 hi thanks mate. Mine don’t seem to have the green symbol in the instrument cluster. The light does come on though. What is the light in the main headlight apart from the turn signals and xenons. I can’t seem to get this to come on either as the high beam is from the xenons.weird?

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@neil1482 I had the same question. That is the light which comes on when you turn a corner to light up the new road. Comes on twith the indicator below a certain speed and when you turn the wheel sharply as if turning into a road.

    Great video did you video tow bar fitting , Some idiot in car park broke my front o/s/f R-Line arch blimey are they expensive over £300 hope you fixed your rear one ok

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, i didn't video that part as they are all different. I know the arch pieces are so expensive!. I think the one I broke fitted well enough without that bottom clip that I just left it (I might have put some double sided pads there, but I cant remember).

    Great video, very helpful, thanks for taking the time and effort to post. Excellent instruction, did the broken clips cause much of a problem when you replaced the bumper ? Did you go for a removable tow hitch or fixed? If you went for a removable would you recommend? Thanks in advance. 👍

      Hi, thanks for the comment. No issue with the broken clips, I think I put some double sided tape behind the broken barbed one on the right to help. I went detachable swan neck, which is good for me, the only downside is the lack of a flange to bolt accessories to...
      Good luck with your fit!

      Hi, just another question, I've phoned up about a towbar and electrics being fitted and was told the electrics need coding to the car, as it's got electric handbrake and parking sensors, the price was steep so I still would rather do it myself but are you aware that the coding is really necessary, thanks in advance. Andy.

    • @iamaparanoidandroid1
      @iamaparanoidandroid1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrKeelan74 I did mine myself with a bypass relay, but I'm only towing a small trailer normally. Electric handbrake doesn't make any difference really, and you can turn the parking sensors off on the button. The only benefit of coding is that it tells the traction control you are towing and (I think) the cooling fans work harder in heavy loads, other than that the bypass is fine for my use.
      Good luck!
