BEDFORD TK BEST 2 IN ALL ENGLAND

These 2 trucks are totally different yet are the best around. Manchester Evening News from new and delivered papers all of its life the yellow one was in service untill I bought it from Harold Breezy in Salford. Brian then delivered it to me on his low loader to Kent to my yard.
The grey truck has a fully rebuilt back in steel and alluminium, with tipping gear.
Extras include.... tarmac chutes,
Step tow bar,
False bottom floor with skids.
Barn doors etc etc etc plus 8 track stereo and lots more.

Good Bedford T K Lorries I bought a Bedford T K off Tommy Hearne in the seventies 6 cylinder petrol what a flying machine but thirsty cheers Tom the old days are gone forever

The problem with the earlier TK's was that the mirror arms were spring loaded but would fold in by themselves over a certain speed. Pushing the drivers side one out again was easy of course but the passenger side was impossible unless you stopped.Drivers would tie lengths of string from the mirror arm to the front bumper to stop it happening.

Tying a length of string on the near side mirror to the grill worked... Most of the time

there nice tk,s my dad drove a few while working for British telecom one of them being brand new,not seen a box tk for ages though

Grey one isn't original, Cab is off an M plate or later, Badge, Door handles & Indicator/side lights weren't fitted to G plate era vehicles.

True mate wrong mirrors as well,she's had a cab,not original at all .
