Please stop reading out Chat GPT articles from Pattaya News - it makes me sick.
Sick, as in ‘bored… do something else’s, or sick ‘I’ve got Covid’.
I agree - but today's Chat GPT reading came from Aseannow.
Thank god no C word news, it’s so boring and repetitive.
agreed
Same as tourism numbers, but you all love that.
They don’t have the votes to pass what they want in parliament on it, so they just posture in the press trying to create a faux public consensus.
With C over ...the prospect of tourism inflow news looms large. Riveting for Thai residents.
almost as boring and repetitive as the smoke in CM
Tim, you're so right on that Chatgpt crap. It's just Internet spam.
Come on Thailand. Keep your King. Lose the draconian penalties for criticism.
My condolences to Kh. Bung. So sad.
Future forward were right to want to change 112, and people were right to vote for it.
Thumbs up 👍 Newton
Best news channel in Thailand
The Oxford English Dictionary actually favours the “-ize” spellings over “-ise”. The Cambridge dictionary favours the latter, but both are equally acceptable.
I agree with you about the articles written by ChatGPT. It's simply a pain in... reading through this rubbish. It's still a sign of quality if an article is written by a human. I guess it's a long way down the road until AI could compete in this field.
Good morning Tim hanks for the news 🙏 great program to keep us up to date.
Thanks for my morning fix of SEA news.
Tim my wife and I are subscribed to your channel and watch your videos every day and have been doing so for the last few years. We were disappointed that You Tube de-monitized a couple of your videos recently. That being said I think they are doing more than de-monetizing some of your videos. Up until a week or so ago your channel was prominently displayed on our you tube page. Now I have to search for it. Obviously some one at You Tube has it in for you and are manipulating the priority of your videos.
Yes. ‘News’ content has been shuffled down their priority list I think.
Good morning Tim Thanks
Thanks for the show Tim, condensing all my Thai new to a few minutes everyday.
Great video as always 🙏
Thanks Tim!
' Thoughtless spray paint " LOL ... whatever next ... " An inconsiderate plank of wood " ?
Completely agree with your sentiments regarding AI generated articles. Appreciate you taking the time to point it out, which helps us lay people identify and understand the phenomena. It may save the people producing content a little time, but it certainly appears to waste everyone else's...
Hi! Gm. Tim..😊😊😊😊
Yupp... I kinda like heading to South Thailand when it's off season. On top of all the things you just said, it's also not crowded. Sure it might get a bit wet, but it's a lot more peaceful than the peak season. In fact, planning a 4 or 5 day break to Satun and Pak Bara next month.
I had my first “TimTams” today. I am not Australian so I had never heard about them until you repeated so many times on “TNT” how much you liked them. They had four varieties of “TimTams” in the Villa supermarket on soi Lang Suan here in Bangkok. They would not have attracted my attention among all the other cookies they sell if not for your raving about them on your channel, missing them as if they were from another planet. They are indeed quite good. Don’t they have a Villa supermarket in Phuket where you could buy them ? You always seem to be begging visitors to bring you some 🤣
Regarding the graffiti, Deputy Prime Minister Anutin has ordered all foreigners arrested that are found in possession of a pen.
Precession?
@@Tugela60 Fat Fingers 😂
I heard he was going to order that pens be added as a Schedule V narcotic. Not for just cause…just cuz’.
Do the new automatic passport machines actually stamp your passport with an exit stamp?
Thanks for the quality analytical news report!
Tim, I agree with your complaints about the unnecessarily verbose Chat GPT-produced texts. Except that when you read those passages out loud verbatim on your programme, you are forcing us, your audience, to endure them as well. Maybe just summarize those passages in future for the sake of your audience.
I wonder if the Petchaburi folks plan to count people passing through the province on their way to Hua Hin and further south? And if it comes to that, will they count arrivals at a future Hua Hin International Airport since half the runway is in Petchaburi? 😅
It is all very well having 50% discount on flights from Samui for local residents but it doesn't benefit the residents of neighbouring islands such as Koh Tao who additionally have to pay for the ferry to Samui. The benefit should be extended to other islanders to use their local airport.
Daisy is a very cute dog, and it's so wonderful that you've taken her in to a great home, and I thought you were only a cat person, shows what I know!
I’ve had mostly dogs all my life. It’s just that cats kept adopting me here in Thailand.
The Iconic Pattaya City sign: When I was a small boy I read in a magazine a supposedly Chinese proverb which said "Net gekke en dwase skryf op mure en glase" which doesn't translate well into English as it is something like "Only fools and idiots writes on walls and glasses". When I was at he sign last year it was then also obvious that, among other maintenance, a serious coating of fresh paint is needed after treating he rust that started to burst through the old paint. Excellent that there is now a focus on the landmark which will hopefully lead to its restorations to its former glory. As a tourist I like that landmark a lot.
G'day Tim, also AI is slowly taking over the jobs of humans which is not good for us😢
Great Tim 👏👏 keep exposing the lazy low quality Ai-newsers 😸
Off Topic: ASEAN NOW news feed off the air for a few weeks. Did they get bought out? The email address list of subscribers went away?
Yes. It was bought out by The Thaiger for 3 million baht
No shirt??? Laundry day?
Do not think Tim does laundry. It is easier to just buy new shirts. But maybe sometimes online delivery is delayed.
Given everything the past couple of millennia have taught about the abuses committed by well-intentioned speech police, anyone’s confidence that they can be trusted to decide what others can say and hear is a sad display of ignorance and hubris.
The worse part is foreigners who live in Thailand try to defend it by saying things like " we are guests in Thailand "
@@antifugazi
If I was a “guest” in China, I would NOT feel compelled to defend the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.
Of course actively defending free speech in Thailand is less risky than in China.

You are really weirrrrrrd! 😂😂😂
Bangkok Airways built that airport on Samui,if people think the flights are to expensive they could vote with their absence but as long as flights are full they can't be to expensive.Personally I have no wish to return to Samui or Phuket.I seriously wouldn't go on a free flight.
I had frequent flier points on Bangkok Air (by frequently flying from BKK to Dhaka on office work paid by my client) and BKK Air gave massive points discounts (50%) in the low season (June to Aug). So I flew to Samui/Phangan free with BKK Air. Best holidays.
Did Daisy chew the pattern off of Tim's shirt?
I am an English teacher in Thailand and I use AI to write my lesson plans. The Thai teachers seem to love the over-emphasized embellishments and I love the easy work! 555
Excuse me
How long before Tim is replaced by an AI that looks and sounds just like him? Or maybe he already has? I mean, would we know?
But can they replicate the shine off the head or the nasal sound in the morning?
Walking down to Nana Plaza and soi cowboy? 😂
You were a street walker?
No one going your way.
@@danporath536 you codgers wouldn't get sarcasm or wit, was saying that's where Tim was walking, haha.
Thailand it is like living in a Kingdom 200 years ago.
Every government does awful things. If you consider the Thai people it's a very wonderful place generally, way better than most countries.
Starving yourself to death should not happen, but if suffering mental health issues they only get worse with the lack of nutrition. A sad bit too be sure.
1:39 Sorry, I'm not familiar with Thai politics and laws, but can someone explain: It seems to me that the new government won the elections thanks to the support of the pro-democracy/anti-military government, right? Then why was she still on the hunger protest? And has the new government done anything about the political reforms and improvements surrounding the lèse-majesté law?
LoL.yes but no (as often happens in Thailand). The party that won the most votes (Move Forward) wasn't allowed to appoint its Prime Minister by the senate that was (and still is to an extent) stuffed with retired generals, wealthy power brokers and other royalists. The reason being they're seen as too radical and anti-monarchy. They found one technicality after another and effectively barred Pita L from the Thai politics for a while. As a result the current PM Settha is something of a compromise between several groups. But it somehow works.
Because trying to enact political reforms and improvements surrounding lèse-majesté law violates lèse-majesté law.
If they suggest changing the law they are arrested and sent to prison for 50 years.
What does it matter to you or l And others. We are all visitors here in Thailand. if one doesnt like it or Thai policy. GO HOME.
Thailand and it’s King should be sanctioned for excessive abuse of political prisoners
I'm sure you wrote bin my book some years ago
