Trucks don't need to perform as a boat watercraft yet the ability to survive a flood or short haul rescue is most notable !
That’s a really good valid point
I very much agree with you, especially the storms and floods that constantly occur in Europe and all other continents, threatening our lives very much.
There are terrible storms now and Homes are wiped out in floods. If you can float safely around in your car until help from copters arrive, at least you live. Hang on. I got to get a beer....
Oh yeah ... Many Decades ago, VW had ads that their little Beatles were so well built, they could safely float down a river and were totally unsinkable. Great to believe if you accidently drove off a cliff due to crappy wet brakes and watched way too many Disaster Movies,
I like you guys but that girl! I bet you got such a crush! Yeah, that's understandable, well, whatever. She is such an important part of your growing team!@@adamtech999
even though a electric vehicle can INITIALLY survive and navigate deep water.. just from personal experience,, days later all carnage breaks loose in the electrical system.
All that is needed to make the Cybertruck into a "Cyberduck" is a seperate pulpulsion system when in boat mode.
A pair of pontoons, and you'll cross a a a lake
The answer is wheels with propeller shape - these are already available for Tesla cars, it is not an accident imho.
I don’t think I’d be going through water a lot and anything I worry about is deep snow like if I go to farms and stuff like that to go get Hey like 5 tons and I’m really proud of you for giving us a Lotta good information on this
Thank you very much for your interest in the video, we are also glad to have brought you useful information. Is there anything you want to know about cybertrucks or other Tesla vehicles? Please share and we will clarify your doubts. Thank you so much that your questions can become the topic of our next videos.
The Chinese truck look Nice :)
Thanks for noticing! We appreciate the positive feedback!
Its an american truck china is too cheap for something this nice
they way the CT drove through that surf will be a game changer
I'm excited to see how the Cybertruck's water resistance holds up in real-world conditions. But based on what we've seen so far, it's clear that this is a major advantage.
Yes a completely Waterproof Cybertruck with a Midgate Feature & The Lowest Price Possible are absolutely necessary, to be competitive with other manufacturers 👍
These are all important features that could help the Cybertruck compete with other electric pickup trucks. I'm excited to see what Tesla comes up with.
What others ?
Batteries and salt water. Now that is what I call a great combination. By the way how is the range? These electric cars are amazing. They are literally on fire.
If you love watching hundreds of stock footage clips put together to create a video, then this one for you.
We try to create engaging content using various visuals. Thanks for your feedback, and we'll consider it for future videos!
Water resistance and off road capabilities are very important to me. If i buy this truck, It will be used as a truck-- in rough terrain and crossing flooded creeks around the farm.
Absolutely, the Cybertruck's off-road capabilities and water resistance are key factors for many users. Rest assured, Tesla is known for paying close attention to such details, ensuring the vehicle can handle rough terrains and challenging environments. We'll keep highlighting these features in our upcoming content. Thanks for your interest and stay tuned!
imagine thinking this is a real comment lol
4 wishes that cyber truck had designed
1. Central driving position with 3 front seats
2. Portal final hubs, ideal for gear ratio changes
3. CTIS (central tyre inflation system) - without it its NOT a true off roader
4. Flat roof even if it was only 500mm
Otherwise this is a seriously wicked vehicle..
Your take is excellent, as an engineer it would be good if you should do a much more indepth on the production line, suspension and steering, motor control and basically do a engineering take on all parts of this incredibly advanced vehicle.
Thank you for your insightful suggestions and feedback! We appreciate your perspective as an engineer and will definitely consider a more in-depth technical analysis of the Cybertruck's production line, suspension, steering, and motor control in our future videos. Stay tuned for more engineering-focused content!
Excellent detail on different levels of water resistance between EVs. Sounds like IP67 is practical for mainstream high suspension EV use at reasonable price/volume production scale!
Actually, the ability to survive storms and floods and short-distance rescue is a great advantage of Cybertruck. What do you think about this?
Move out of Florida! It's Doomed.@@adamtech999
That's one way to put out a giant battery fire 🔥😂
Actually, Tesla takes battery safety very seriously. The Cybertruck's design includes multiple safety layers to prevent battery fires. Its water resistance is an added bonus, but the real safety lies in Tesla's advanced battery technology and protective architecture.
This feels like a ChatGPT script with some random ai grabbing CT and non related footage from all over the internet.

why do they keep pointing out that the cyber truck uses tempered glass? tempered glass, at least in the USA, has been used in car windshields since the 1950's
Because the Tempered Glass in Cybertruck has some special characteristics:
Thickness is greater than normal tempered glass. This helps enhance the bearing capacity of the glass. New production technology enhances the durability and break resistance of glass. In particular, the tempered glass in Cybertruck is bulletproof, helping to protect passengers in case of an attack.
Tough to break.
if its so great why didn't they bring that up instead of "tempered glass" that to me would seem to be a more important selling point that just the word tempered glass. I Mean if you want to stated the obvious in your selling points , why not state the cyber truck comes with rubber wheels? tempered glass is not a meaningful selling point. you don't sell new tech with mundane language that mean nothing.
Supposed to be transparent aluminum. L O L aluminum oxide epoxy, high compression stuff. I wonder if Scotty gave you on the formula?😊
@@adamtech999 An attack from who...BYD assassins?
The Cyber truck is great but wow U8 is the next level of technology it's way better at water resistance and the looks are better.
We agree that the U8 offers impressive technology and water resistance. Each vehicle has its strengths and unique features, and it's essential to consider individual preferences and needs when making a choice. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter.
I have driven on that same beach, at Port Aransas and had my 86 Toyota pickup as far out as the Cybertruck was in this video. I am excited about the Cybertruck, I have an order in. I bet the Cybertruck can handle way deeper conditions than what we have seen here.
Thank you very much for sharing your valuable experiences. During that trip, did you record any photos or videos? Can you share this wonderful thing with us?
floating mode then it goes into thermal runaway mode.
How do you rate the Cybertruck's amphibious capabilities?
Battery damage caused by water is not covered under warranty.
That's an important point to note. While the Cybertruck is designed with water resistance in mind, it's crucial for owners to be aware of the warranty limitations regarding battery damage due to water exposure. We always recommend checking the specific warranty terms and conditions provided by Tesla. Thanks for highlighting this aspect!
Stop comparing anything to Chinese products. Their demo is just that, a demo. It's so easy to build a test model to be IP68 and show off, but it's an entirely different beast to mass-produce those cars. The fact that the Cybertruck is being mass-produced is a marvel of vertical manufacturing model where everything is produced in-house and not outsourced.
Great, I enjoyed your review. What is your opinion on the Cybertruck's controversial exterior design? Please share with us so we can have a deeper conversation
Thank you for your perspective! We agree that mass production, especially with advanced features like the Cybertruck's, is a significant achievement. Our comparisons aim to provide a broad view of the industry and its diverse technologies. Stay tuned for more updates!
The real world range results are in. 46° not that cold not hot at 70mph with 2 average sized ppl was 280miles.
This a China promotion for their jeep thingy😂... if it not bulletproof then it can't compare sorrweeeee😑
I loooove the Cybertruck. We will get one.
We’re glad that you love Cybertruck. And please stay tuned for our latest videos!
If you get water in to the bed if it is 100 percent means it does not come out ether the 304 stainless is not rust proof likes that of 316. The 30x is only 304 but cold rolled only makes it harder which could be a problem as stainless works hardens
I am very impressed with your understanding. So how do you rate the Cybertruck's floating ability?
I wait for someone to take this into the water and float across a lake or ocean fo a good distance. It must have a Bilge pump to rid of water that escaped in.
I will not trust the U8 to last and be water proved for long. This is important for me as I have a 10 acre lake to use a floating Cybertruck. Now, I have an Argo which is an amphibian with 6x6 and can go 3-4 miles a hour in the water. I just need the Cybertruck to float and not totally immersed. There is no need unless you are using it for snockling in the sea.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! The idea of using the Cybertruck in such a unique way is fascinating. However, it's important to note that the Cybertruck, as of current designs and specifications, isn't intended for amphibious use or to float on water. It's designed primarily for on-road and off-road driving. For water-based activities, specialized vehicles like your Argo are more suitable. Always stay safe and use vehicles as per their intended purpose!
Yeah, I'm tired of getting stuck at 67th & Johnson St. coming home from work every day. With Cybertruck, I could go around everybody, down the embankment, amphibious across the creek, up other embankment straight onto the highway... Oh yeah!
awesome! Have you pre-ordered it?
Sounds like an adventurous commute plan with the Cybertruck! Its robust features indeed promise to transform everyday travel. Just remember to always prioritize safety and abide by traffic regulations. Thanks for sharing your excitement!
@@adamtech999It was a joke. :) But, yes, I ordered it the day it was unveiled in 2019.
maybe a feature for beach areas, a boat car. Not new. Theres some historic boat cars in the past.
It’s mainly about the beach clip. Wish it showed more than rendered clips and same clips. Also there’s this strange long P sound at 6:38 found it amusing haha

Thank you for your comment. Do you have any questions about Cybertruck? Please share so we can clarify together.
Just wondering, how do you rescue someone when this truck is underwater, and no electric power .Bulletproof glass underwater?
glass isn't bulletproof
Thank you for raising an important safety concern. In the event of submersion, the Cybertruck is designed with emergency protocols, including power-independent door mechanisms and reinforced glass. Safety in all scenarios is a priority for Tesla.
Tesla, now please make all models IP67 too. Many places in the US like Florida would be a good market where floods are very common. Hopefully in the near future, all EVs will be at least IP67.
Cheers.
That's a great suggestion! Making Tesla vehicles, including the Cybertruck, with an IP67 rating for water resistance would indeed be beneficial, especially in flood-prone areas like Florida. We'll keep an eye on Tesla's developments in this area and share any updates. Your insight into the future of EVs and their capabilities is much appreciated. Cheers!
Driving that truck into the ocean here in Texas where the salt content is REALLY high and it having allot of stainless on it was a no no. Stainless will have stress chloride cracks because of it, and the parts that are aluminum will be eaten up in very short order by galvanic corrosion. Unless they really wanted to test that corrosion very badly that wasn't too good of an idea. Maybe driving it in a lake would be better.
They have a special kind of stainless.
@@exeuropean All stanless steel contains nickel and chrome. It is called an austenitic metal. This will develop stress chloride cracking in a sodium chloride environment, especially when it is wet and hot. The beach around port aransas is horrible and is some of the worst in the entire world.
I designed analyzer buildings for this region and I can tell you even the salt in the ground is very corrosive there. Just digging it up to make your chemical plant there makes the salt airborne and it will corrode everything.
Yes, there are metals that will hold up fairly well in that environment but you even have to watch galvanic corrosion there. ANY dissimilar metals will set up galvanic action and the softer of the two metals will be sacrificed. Normally you have a sacrificial anode of Aluminum or Silver to take the corrosion if you can, but I seriously do not see them doing that on a car. (You have one in your water heater in case you didn't know).
Thank you for your insightful comment regarding the impact of saltwater on the Cybertruck's materials. You bring up an important point about the potential for stress chloride cracking in stainless steel and galvanic corrosion in aluminum parts. These are crucial considerations for vehicles exposed to such environments. We'll make sure to highlight these aspects in our future discussions about the Cybertruck's durability and testing. Your expertise and suggestions are highly valued!
Maybe you can answer why SpaceX uses F150's and F250's instead of a Cybertrashcan like they did for a PR stunt with one towing a model of a rocket engine from Spacex's exhibit?
The Cybertruck is still in production, and Tesla might be prioritizing deliveries to customers first.

While I could never afford either or any New vehicle, I'm not a fan of the Cyber Truck because it's Ugly, I prefer it over anything made in China.
I'm all for EVs but think that a low cost conversion of existing Vehicles to hybrid or full EV is the answer to a rapid reduction of reliance on fossil fuels.
I'm also a big fan of thee wheeled EVs that place a single driving wheel at the rear in what is referred to as a reverse trike, this is for overall stability Of trikes especially in sharp turn maneuvers to prevent the vehicle from tipping over, without resorting to robust antiflip complicated suspension systems.
Great. Besides the design, how do you evaluate the range and performance of the cybertruck?
Yeah, floating mode until it blows up
We understand your concerns, but Tesla prioritizes safety in all its features. Rest assured, the Cybertruck's floating mode is designed and tested rigorously to ensure safe and reliable performance.
Gotta compare the BYD and Cybertruck after two to three years use.

I don't need a submarine.
Thanks for your comment! Absolutely, while the Cybertruck's water resistance is impressive, it's definitely more about practicality than turning it into a submarine. Keep watching Adam Tech for more insights on Tesla's features!
Did they ever fix the shatter proof resistance of the windows???
Yes its been sorted although I think they are just rock proof now not bullet proof like the rest of the car.

That Cyber Truck will sink into the water instantly.

Are his robots waterproof?
I don't got much infomation about that. That depends on the materials used to produce Optimus. However, I have previously seen a video of a robot manufacturing company let their product walk in the rain, so I wouldn't be surprised if Tesla could do the same thing.
They will have to be if they are to be useful. Can they walk in chest high water? I doubt that will be a priority for some years yet. Exhaust vents from the compute module in the chest would be problematic and require a special solution.
Best guess?
Rain - no problem
Backstroke - not gonna happen until they have a need for robots for underwater maintenance. A high effort, low priority feature at this point.

Are the cameras 📸 water proof
Do you mean the camera on Cybertruck?
I do not see why they would not be. IP67 means it can stand in 0.5m water for 30 min. That would have to include some of the cameras and the others would be no less resistant.
Why they also put a ford against the cyber truck. Let's see a Cummings pull that thing around
Including a Ford in the comparison helps viewers understand how the Cybertruck stacks up against a traditional truck. It's not just about the competition but also showcasing the differences in performance and capabilities.

so the U8 beats the cybertruck in being able to float/move across a lake. cybertruck can't do that, not yet, at least. And the U8 beats it in the looks department as well. But the cybertruck beats the U8 in every other area. I hope one day the cybertruck looks will improve over the years to come
Just because you think the CBT is ungly, doesn't mean it is. Hell you ugly, I happen to love the look, to each his own. The $100K CBT runs circles around that $150K U8. Like whose is going to take their $150K truck under water. Most of them RN that go snorkling in their junk trucks, will never have either of these trucks. The ones that can afford it has enough sense not to take vehicle like this under water. Therefore, the U8 being able to float has no bearing. And as long as you been driving, how many times have you got into a situation where you ran off the road, into a canal or lake, and needed your vehicle to float? I'll wait.

It's already 5% smaller than the prototype in 2019 and garage can't be that small.
that was a click bait story
This is most definitely the ugliest vehicle I have ever seen, is this the damn future of transport??? This is a silver box, on wheels!!!
Thanks for yours comment. So which vehicle is your favorite?
@@adamtech999 I'm a Bugatti fan and if I was rich, I'd probably go for the Bugatti Chiron or a Bugatti la voiture noire, If not, maybe the Lamborghini Veneno, lol. Sports cars aside, if I was to choose an off-roader, I'd go for the super truck - Apocalypse, the six wheeled version, those trucks are monsters and better designed than this ugly, cyber tin can on wheels.
These Chinese AI videos are wild.
BYD can swim not the cybertruck
Cybertruck floats for like a week or so. Saves billions of lives.
We will all see if Elons claims Cybertruck will need to boat over to South Padre Island from his StarBase come true or not! 👍
@@davejoson1100 He didn't design them to function as boats. He designed them to not drown when they fall into a river. They float for a few days saving lives.
How Chinese stuff you have owned? You have no idea.

THE LEAST SAFE AND MOST DANGEROUS VEHICLE ON THE ROAD
Would you please share with us what makes you think so?
@@adamtech999 Go and study crash physics, see what happens when something that heavy hits an immobile object when it doesn't have any crumple zones. It's not just going to kill others but it'll get you too.
@@steve8510 I have seen several crash test of the cyber truck so far and the truck does have crush zones. It’s very obvious.😂👍
@@glenncornwall4331 Yeah because you know better than professional crash testers, please stop being a simping fanboy for electric Jesus.Twitler has gone far right so unless you are one of the orange traitors moron magat followers you don't need to defend the indefensible.
@@glenncornwall4331 And of course I didn't need to say it's the ugliest vehicle on Earth and a pure wankmobile because we've all got eyes 🤣🤣🤣
That’s not a real cyber truck the real has dual turning system
This is our old video, and compared to Cybertruck now, the RC ones (release candidate) version has a little bit differents.
@@adamtech999 ok
I don’t care how capable that thing is, it still looks like my 6th grade soap box derby car. Ugly!
2 million pre-orders. You are out.
Cry me a river little boy.
Cybertruck doesn't have an exoskeleton and everything shown here could have been done with a Toyota Corolla. Also mandatory thumbs down for cyber narrator.
now cybertruck's body is called HFS (Hard Freaking Steel)
U call this floating😂😂😂😂
While the video may have depicted the Cybertruck's water fording capability, it's essential to clarify that the term "floating" may not be the most accurate description. The Cybertruck's design allows it to handle water crossings effectively, but it's not designed for full-fledged floating like a boat.
