You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fought with it for 20 min. Mine is slightly different it springs back in and the house was previously owned by a blind person so the bulb had been in there probably 20 years so it stuck as well but with your video giving me the hint I knew to fight it and once it came about 1/2 way out it quit springing back. Man thank you so much!!!

Oh, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I did the same thing that you did, except for pulling down from the recessed area. I'm one who will not force something when I don't know what will happen. You saved my day! We've had a dark hallway since Christmas.. lol

Please could you let me know the name of the brand and type of light fixture as we would like to choose the same for our bathroom after you made it look so easy to change and because regular lights can be used instead of the specialized lights. Are you using this in your bathtub area?

Only difference is mine is the whole fixture is glass, hopefully it works the same way.
