I've set Alt+1,2,3,4 to front, right, left, and rear view, and top to Alt+F1....also mapped 'parallel/perspective' toggle to a mouse button. It has made life easier.

This is good development for SU so it can do the Quad workflow...After a decade or so....This should be in the native tool of SU...anyways.. . Our hero ThomThom should do a full suite of "non destructive quad modeling" tool that also includes quad FFD and a better UV unwrap tool all in one package...

make a copy of the edge loop with move tool move while pressing the ctrl key and place it at another end. now without doing any thing just type " 10/ " and press enter key.
