Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to put these great tips in a video. Like so many other commenters / longtime SketchUp users, several of your tips are new to me and will be very helpful. And thanks for the summary and time markers in the description. I printed them out to remind myself, along with bookmarking the video for future reference!

I´ve been using Sketchup for more than 10 years, almost 15, and still learning new tricks. I specially love the sync views, to have the same scene at different timestamps so i can make kind of a timelapse, or simply view the same scene in day or night configurations.
    Always learning. Thank you

Camera sync is gold! Also, Sketchup is clearly becoming more and more streamlined for a hands-off-keyboard approach, specifically in conjunction with a 3D mouse. In addition to the last tip, right clicking in empty space or anywhere off the active group will bring up a context menu that includes Close Group etc. 2 clicks vs one keyboard key, but eliminates the need to take your hand off the 3D mouse.

I thought I know almost all tricks because all of the tutorial I'm watching, bur i think I just knew 2 of the 15. Awesome timesaving tips. One Trick I missed, but maybe you mentioned it on a previous video, is how to move a single point of a object. You probably already know, that drowing a line to that point ant than choosing the line, it make it possible, to move the single point. Thanks again for sharing you knowhow!

You mentioned the Middle Mouse Button to Orbit option. While it is depressed that adding the left side button switches to Pan Tool. You need to hold both down to continue to use them. BUT, If alternatively you substitute the right side button instead. It adds a dialog drop down box with all the Camera Tool Options with out leaving the mouse. This frees up you mouse hand, then a quick tap of the right key brings the dialog box back. To change to a different tool or exit.

Regarding the push pull issue with a selected face, I also found if you right click on a different face then the selection will move to that and the push pull tool will still be active. So, right click new face, then left click new face to push pull it. Just another alternative.

Hi masterSketchUp - great trics for us Tks alot. I have two doubts about the five tric, input only one value - insert (,) comma + a value, When i start rectangle click 1º and 2º point and keyboard (,) comma + value the SU assume a decimal value, ( 0,5m) to the first value of rectangle, ( my SU is 18) - last tip, which is to close the group / component; I think I understand when you say it; "to close the group, just type the comma (,) + number 1, (one)??

I search and i find there's no shortcut for the alienazerty users. So Just go on shortcut option in SU and search the close all component and say ² for shortcut. now you have the shortcut even you are an alien :)

Move object A midway between objects B and C by allowing A to share B's location. Then ctrl-copy A to share C's location and then press forward slash key, hit numeral 2 key and hit enter. Finally, erase the A objects that are sharing B and C's locations.

I noticed one modifier for P (push-pull). If I drag a face, the original face goes away and I must do something to fill it back in. Holding CTRL when I start P causes the original face to stay intact. I'm sure there are other modifiers, I just haven't pursued them.

ok so to flip many misclainous faces, have your reverse face set to a keyboard shortcut then.... go into the push pull tool, as you hover over faces it selects them. hit your flip face short cut over and over as you hover over each face to be flipped. much faster!
