Then you played the censored non-Japanese version then. Paper Mario TTYD had quite abit of mature content that was cut when it was localized to outside Japan. For example, not only did that murder scene of that game in this video got censored, but also the drink bottle you give to Bobbery to fulfill his "last wish". That's not Chuckola Cola in that bottle in the Japanese version, that's wine. Somehow though, the thing straight in the middle of Rogueport you get to after clearing the intro battle, that's obviously used for hanging people, bypassed the rating boards with no issue
Yeah true. But the video was already dishonest about what we were supposedly seeing, claiming that this was somehow a pokemon killing another (Fearow had attacked an illusion rather than real Poliwhirl) so I have a feeling, even for as legit gory as the Arbok scene was, they would have still been dishonest and claim it had died.
There’s more blood in Zelda games than just OoT Ganondorf and the Shadow Temple. MOST enemies in OoT alone bleed (albeit purple and green) blood when struck, as well as the inside of Jabu-Jabu. There’s also a lot of blood in Twilight Princess, the most notable example being Rusl who is depicted being severely wounded and covered in (red) blood. There’s also a gate near Kakariko with red blood splattered all over it, and several bosses (Morpheel, Dark Beast Ganon) bleed (purple and white) blood when struck
For Pokémon that was not a Poliwhirl getting stabbed but a Ditto (wasn’t harmed) A better example happens later when Zinnia gets impaled in the abdomen by Rayquaza and coughs up blood onto her Salamence much to its horror

I hear, voices crying, I hear, tension rising, I smell blood that's drying...
I don't think that's blood on Reaper's scythe, I think it's just painted that way. Unless of course he made blood into a special pattern on it.
I don't think the Xenoblade blood recolor was censorship? Seems more like an artistic choice to me. It's pretty clear in the remaster that dunban is still throwing up blood
Yeah it also looks like lighting as well. Metalface has a bright light pointing right at that blood whole Dunban seems to be partially obscured in shadow.
People: Nintendo games are just for children
Nintendo games:
*Red Blood infestifes*
Not blood, it’s go-go happy friendship sauce.
Most characters from Kirby’s world excrete this harmless fluid when experience intense emotions of happiness and good times
in the kirby lore there's actually, dementia, war, suicide, genocide, death by hypotermia, immolation, autodestruction, post apocalyptic since shivering star is most likely the earth after an ice age, the haltmann idustries also mechanized it, betrayal, beings able to destroy the entire fucking multiverse, possession, literal incarnation of death, loss of dear ones, depression, abandon, loneliness despair and sorrow X) the games are indeed for childrens but the lore is most likely not damn i love this franchise oh and poor taranza who was forced to help kill his childhood friend and lover queen sectonia (who never transformed into a bee but infected multiple beings in her quest of beauty, yes she's a parasite, it's literally her race, she parasited so many beings she forgot what her original form was) haltmann who thought his young daughter was dead when an accident with the main computer occured he then dedicated his entire life to bring her back and reactivated and ancient machine to resurrect her, got corrupted by this same machine (star dream) then his daughter susanna patrya Haltmann got back home many years later but he was so corrupted that he forgot her, he actually remembers just before his death saying i quote: whi did i reactivated such a terrible machine? oh right i remember, it was to see her again... how foolish i was to think a machine could do something like that then simply got wiped out of existence poof erased, in true arena star dream os deems his soul to be useles so he erases it too....what a damn monster the ancients created
friend: on a scale of 1 to 10, how family friendly is mario?
me: 10
friend: and kirby?
me: *Z E R O*
(pun intended)
I remember seeing an uncensored version of Ganondorf vomiting blood and wondering why.
Bayonetta in smash ultimate if you hit her
The Guardian Moles also had gruesome descriptive attacks, it would use the wording "tore into ness" which is kind of fucked the fact he's a kid
Tbh fire emblem could benefit from being a little darker lol
I can understand the blood being red at 3:05, but why is it blue at 3:35?
Bruh The Thousand Year Door scene I barely saw the blood
Then you played the censored non-Japanese version then. Paper Mario TTYD had quite abit of mature content that was cut when it was localized to outside Japan. For example, not only did that murder scene of that game in this video got censored, but also the drink bottle you give to Bobbery to fulfill his "last wish". That's not Chuckola Cola in that bottle in the Japanese version, that's wine. Somehow though, the thing straight in the middle of Rogueport you get to after clearing the intro battle, that's obviously used for hanging people, bypassed the rating boards with no issue
@@zigazav1 I never played Paper Mario
“What Are You Gonna Do, Bleed On Me?”
Zero:YES
I'm confused. Nintendo is a family-company, but they allow blood and dark, twisted content in some of their games anyway?
For the Pokemon Manga there is a image of Arbok being cut in half, lost of blood there
Pikmin also shed "blood" (though it's the same color as the victim is) when impaled by the Cloaking Burrow-nit from Pikmin 2.
That's why it's rated E for everyone...
Yeah...
You put the Pokémon manga, and ignore the charmeleon cutting an arbok in half?
Nothing wrong with a game having a little bit of blood, it's all about how you use it.
Where is the nightmare fuel nowadays?
why don't these nintendo franchise videos ever have fire emblem in it
I just realize Samus' blood is dripping on her visor and the fade to black is like an eye closing...
"We thought it was tomato ketchup"
On Xenoblade nice job not spoiling anything. Since that masterpiece is something that you want to go into as blind as possible.
"Nintendo games are for kids"
The Blood the Nintendo video games:
I didn't know Bayonetta was a Nintendo franchise
You missed some, in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess if you go back to Rusl’s house after the first twilight he’s super bloody and beat up
For Pokémon that was not a Poliwhirl getting stabbed but a Ditto (wasn’t harmed)
A better example happens later when Zinnia gets impaled in the abdomen by Rayquaza and coughs up blood onto her Salamence much to its horror
I’m surprised Fire Emblem and wasn’t in this video. I’m sure at least one game had blood.
Xenoblade Chronicles was mentioned.
Uh, Xenoblade WAS in there.
Noticed 😂
If I remember correctly, Seiros stabbed Nemesis in the opening of Three Houses and held a bloodied sword.
In Near Future: Xenoblade Chronicles 1 (Wii and 3DS)/Definitive Edition (Switch) Should Be Getting Banned in China?
When a Nintendo game shows blood, it has much more impact
2:19 Brad The Bandit... What Did You Do!?
I want to meet the guy who saw 0 and 02 and said "Make it Bleed." I wanna shake his hand!
